I've never had such regrets. If you have disposable dust, you would not regret it. It's not something I CONDONE, you know if you're f2p or if you're new to the game ofc. This thread is more for people who do that from time to time.
i remeber when everyone was gonna craft a golden The Darknesson launch day, imo crafting golden legendaries is the dumbest thing ESPECIALLY on launch day with no idea of the future meta
Well TBH, I crafted both Valeera and Kingsbane golden launch day of each expansion and have no regrets. If you have the dust and it's for your favourite class/archetype, I don't see why not. I really enjoy Burgle Rogue so I think I'll do a day 1 golden craft of Tess if I don't open her in packs. If I do, then I'll probably just be fine with that as she's a one-time play and not something sitting in front of you all game like Kingsbane or Valeera.
And with respect to The Darkness... I opened it in gold and love it. I have yet to actually get it to proc in any deck (haven't tried too hard), but it's an amazing golden card.
I will probably go with a golden Hagatha the Witch. I love golden heroes and golden cards which create more golden cards are allways the best value. I am still considering a golden Deathstalker Rexxar, since he is the only other golden cards generating deathknight I am missing, I love my golden Jaina and Uther. Probably depends if control hunter can finally take of with all this removals it got in Witchwood.
I hadn't even realized that golden Deathstalker would produce golden zombeasts... Man this makes me want to DE my normal one and craft a golden...
Those are exactly mine too. The reason is simple, you dont get any legendaries twice unless you have them all so its a safe craft. After that i wait for the cards i want in golden and didnt get.

Yep. I'm not always looking at the power level when crafting Golden cards, as opposed to many other people. I just look at the art and flavor.
Is it smarter to craft golden ones first and open packs after? Assuming you can't get the legendary again you already crafted?
As it would be such a shame to open a normal version of one you'd like as golden, due to the low dust amount it gives.
Yep, you should craft any golden legendaries that you're 100% sure you want, before opening packs. I made the mistake in KoFT of opening all my packs, amongst the legendaries was a normal Shadowreaper Anduin and then I realized I wanted it in gold immediately after.
Golden commons/rares/epics you should craft after opening packs, as there's a significant chance you could pull them in your openings (whereas the chance of getting the exact golden legendary you want is miniscule).
I might go for Baku. I believe in the return of control warrior + quest
Baku is one of my favourite cards from the set, but I'm skeptical about this "Odd Quest Warrior"...seems strange to handicap your deck to upgrade a hero power you'll be replacing later. Let's say you used the hero power 5 times before playing Sulfuras, you've gained 10 additional armor using Tank Up! over the standard Warrior hero power. That's basically a free Bring It On!.
I suppose the option is there at least, against certain heavy Aggro matchups you might decide never to equip Sulfuras and just armor up all day.
Ugh I had such high hopes for Toki.....
Face Collector and Tess Greymane. Blizzard never lets me down with the quality of golden rogue legendaries.
Basically every warrior card outside of deadly arsenal. I've always had a completely golden warrior deck since wallet warrior was first a thing.
For me it would have to be Dollmaster Dorian. Love his card art and every time i create a card with him it would be golden.
Toki, Time-Tinker
Archmage Arugal
Baku the Mooneater
Blackhowl Gunspire, Toki the Time Tinker, and Baku the Mooneater are my Top 3.
Later on, I might craft Archmage Arugal or Face Collector.
Chameleos
Tess Greymane

I would like to see the golden arts First, where are them??

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Dire Frenzy, not just for it being one of the most powerful new cards, but for those sweet tasty golden buffed copies added to your deck.
