I really like the cards revealed so far. Imo the concept of value and control is going into the right direction.
But there is just one major issue: Every awesome and powerful card they revealed can't reach the value of Jade-Druid or Razakus. Don't get me wrong. We are facing the healthiest meta so far and I love seeing priest as a tier 1 deck. But why is Blizzard refusing to nerf these decks? Why is it so hard to do? I just don't get it...
I mean:
Jade Idol - only possible to shuffle once Anduin - refresh HP once a turn
and everything should be fixed. Or what am I missing?
They're gonna rotate after this upcoming expansion so they're just biding their time. I can't blame them really. I'm sure there are a lot of things to worry about within the game besides two specific cards.
"players want to win alright. next time i go take a poop and play this game i wanna have a good time winning 3-4 games and thats it."=this is Blizzard's logic and is never going to change.
That's not even the case. Meta is pretty balanced. There no deck like pirate warrior with 60% winrate atm
If Blizzard nerfed cards, people would feel robbed. Maybe they crafted Prophet Velen in order to play Razakus but if Shadowreaper Anduin would be nerfed, the deck might not be the same.
If Blizzard made EVEN BETTER cards to triumph over Jade, Pirates, Razakus and Keleseth Rogue, then everyone would bitch about the new and EVEN BETTER tier 1 deck for 12-24 months.
There is no winning. Unless you accept that sets rotate. Have patience and in 3-5 months we will be in Year of the Whatever Animal with no Patches, no Jade and no Raza.
Razakus is Tier 3 right now with a winrate below 50%. Just because Tempostorm says it's a tier 1 deck doesn't mean it's true. Big Druid destroys Razakus instantly.
Jade Druid´s problem, IMO, is Spreading Plague. Although, I find Druid having serious trouble dealing with big minions. Maybe that can help you in your playstyle.
Highlander Priest´s problem is the DK Anduin´s battlecry.
In both cases you cannot allow yourself to go for big and powerfull boards because of the drawbacks. It takes away the risk-reward mechanic of going for late game.
Not doing the pre-order or buying any packs this time. No need. Meta doesn't change enough and I can craft the handful of viable new cards in the meta with existing dust. Not salty, I've been having a blast with other games, I just find it disappointing that they failed to deliver on the premise of having standard in the first place. Even more so because they chose to do so for commercial reasons.

One thing to note is that just because those decks haven't gotten nerfed and even got some good inclusions (priest in particular), that doesn't mean that they will still be dominant given that other decks get new tools as well and new archetypes might even be viable. So for example, with Warrior and even Mage getting more armor gain, these control decks might be better against Razakus Priest since they could survive long enough to remove Velen and stabilize from there. Stuff like that could result in no nerfs being needed or any planned nerfs being excessive, nerfing the deck to unplayable, as some have noted.
I totally agree about the meta but patience... 4 months and both decks will be gone from Standard. I think its hard to nerf anything from the December expansions, especially this late, b/c those cards have a drastically shorter shelf life; unless they are oppressively broken like Small-Time Buccaneer and The Caverns Below.
For Druid- soon Jade will be gone and, aside from token, Druid will be crap. Really right now Jade Druid isn't as powerful as its been. Its still good, don't get me wrong, but right now its the weakest its been (in my opinion) and it isn't really getting any help so far. Jade Idol isn't that much of an issue anymore... its Ultimate Infestation and Spreading Plague that keep Jade Druid a high tier deck.
For Priest: your suggestion will be granted with Raza the Chained and Kazakus cycling out. Shadowreaper Anduin looses major power without the Raza combo. Still a good car, don't get me wrong, but Anduin's HP will be drastically reduced when is costs 2 mana each time. I predict most of its value will end up coming from its battlecry next year. And really Raza and Kazakus have only been playable for 8 out of the past 12 months (the loss of Reno Jackson and the lack of support from Un'goro about killed the cards, only Anduin brought them back- I about dusted my Kazakus b/c he wasn't seeing any play, highlander decks were just horrible).
Edit: I am more concerned about Prince Keleseth decks and we still have 16 more months of them!

Well both decks are getting their some of/all of their core cards rotated soon so...
Don't mind me just passing by
Blizzard doesn’t like nerfing cards. Unlike HotS or other games where this constantly happens.
When the nerf bat arrives, they basically destroy the card, archetype forever. (patron warrior anyone?)

Lul Razakus loses everytime if the draw isn't perfect. And with perfect draws every deck can be tier 1
There existed decks that beat Jade Druid and Razakus Priest before KaC.
If those decks don't get support in KaC, then at worst things remain the same, but more likely every other class just gets stronger against them.

You say we are facing the healthiest meta so far, so what's the problem? Don't fix what isn't broken.
