Personally, I despise aggro decks and feel like they lack any form of skill necessary to win the game since it's basically just play a minion or weapon and hit face for five turns until the game is over, which really ruins the overall enjoyment of this game. I love this new meta and I sincerely hope that Blizzard continues to support this kind of meta because control decks make for long and interesting games full of thoughtful and skillful decision making.
Saying aggro lacks any form of skill only shows your own lack of skill.
I don't know if it's because I simply play control too much, but I actually find aggro harder to play, in most cases anyway.
The decision making especially, when to hit face or clear board, etc (I'm not being sarcastic)
I personally have issues with the new dk priest, I think that is too strong. By the way i am very disappointed about this long games and because rogue and hunter sucks.
is the priest hero that great though? I mean it can be deadly, but you have to pull the game off perfectly without any missteps and a lot of luck to get the insane killing combo at the end.
Right now the meta is slower because folks are trying out Death Knights or still using Quests. However, it won't be long before quick, aggro decks return and dominate. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Dependable loan sharks since 1960. We sink our teeth into every deal we make.

Expecially in wild is out of control with Reno.
Had a game priest vs priest almost same deck. We both had quest and reno - I ended up winning, but he played 4 renos and 2 Amaras - I felt great for out valuing him even tho he had so much heal.
Its a little too slow right now. Playing control is fine, but it gets old when all your opponents are also useing control. Control vs aggro is much more interesting because the two goals are so asymeterical.

uhmm, it hink we might be headed for a longer control phase this time tho...aggro decks are not that hard to discover so they usually appear around this time, (halfway through the week of the expansion's release), plus...... for the first time in forever....they finally releeeeaseeee.... a cheapish control deck......for the first time in forever..... new players will not be.........force dto play aggro for six months. or more..... soa aggro may be less common during this expansion,
Jade druid sadly still exists, and I hate priest with an even bigger passion than before, but aggro has fortunately gotten the worst end of the deal. It's far from perfect, but not as terrible as the previous ones.

Sorry what is the cheapish control deck? Shaman has always been around and is relatively cheap, but that's not new, it has always been the cheap control deck. (hard removal, area attack, board placement, Blood lust "area attack" for board control when needed, it's basically the aggro control. )
The meta was tarnished by Gadgetzan, and all the innovative and skill-rich decks that are being pushed into the meta, I feel, will always be flushed out by the wildly powerful decks Gadgetzan brought into the mix (namely Jade Druid and Pirate Warrior). So as long as Gadgetzan remains in standard, I feel that the meta will always be entirely matchup dependent, which speaks nothing but poor health for the general state of constructed Hearthstone. We must wait until the next few standard years, it seems.
On the bright side, KotFT did not bring to fruition any notably skill-less decks at the level Gadgetzan did, so hopefully, Hearthstone will turn to a healthy future soon enough.

Who would have thought I would end up crafting a prince?
Which one? I unpacked Prince Taldaram and am loving it in my non-jade druid
Prince Keleseth for my Token Pally. It's kicking ass! Love it. I also crafted Prince Valanar for my Warlock deck. It heals and I don't need any other 4 drops.
I unpacked Prince Taldaram, but still not sure how best to use him?
So you see, I now own all 3 of them. I'm actually a big fan despite being sceptical at first. The art is on point, too!
Not fun. Once again it filters down to two or three decks that play out like a rock paper scissor game. Nothing else can compete because the power of those three. As a result you only face those three and either play one yourself or enjoy getting beat and bm'ed every game. I dont have faith that Blizzard can ever make this game enjoyable and fair again.
I for one like it despite the fact that I am a f2p player: most decks are decent and some decks are powerful (which, naturally, need a lot of dust) and it is always interesting to see the misplays and the pro plays once in a while. I pray to the god of the cards to please average my packs 100 dust or more.
Tbh honest, other than some tilts given to me by Druids and their new broken cards the meta has been fun. I've played classes I notmally don't play and its fun. I like the meta.
Jade Druid is hampering a lot of my fun. Overall I like the meta outside of that, even though I do seem to run into 3 decks.. Jade Druid, Jackie Chan's Warlock and Evolve Shaman. I almost wish I did run into Priest once in awhile to shake things up a bit! If Blizzard does some kind of nerf to Jade Druid, which in 3 months has to be coming, it will be a much much better game.. So we're almost there! :)

it is so much fun.
Still massive number of Jade druids, and they are invincible in late games, with Ultimate Infestation.
I love it, but holy shit it's frustrating when you build a deck around a DK and you don't draw it 4 games in a row

Fuck cubelock
One of the best metas so far in my opinion, verry versatile.
Penguinpriest, Control Priest, Jade Druid, Big Druid, Elemental Mage, Questmage, Te,po Secret mage, Pirate Warrior, Tempo warrior, Dead mans Warrior, Overload Shaman, Token Evolve Shaman, Garden Rogue, Aggro Rogue etc...
Only class falling a little short is hunter atm. but i think its still not as bad as people call it.
Verry deversatile meta, maybe a bit to much jade druid but that deck is beatable.
