I just started mtg the other day, honestly don't have a clue about the cards or anything, but the quick game mode (bo1?) were pretty fun even with basic decks...I did get a few of tgose mythic cards already (mythic rare or whatever it's called), so I'll try and build something of my own soon...
If someone could, please is there something like a tutorial for beginners, what to buy/craft, how many wildcards can I have at one time and general advice for someone who basically never played magic...I am regularly legend in HS so I can grasp the game concepts pretty easily probably, but these other things I don't wanna screw up (although I'm gonna play mtg super casual, HS is better for me, as people said, you can play for 5 minutes or for 5 hours, far more accesible than mtg in that regard)
Most MTGA people would tell you not to buy packs with gold but rather to save up and play quick draft because you will increase your collection faster than with buying packs.
What to craft is entirely dependent on your deck preferences. Some people recommend to craft a fast deck (mono-red or mono-blue) and do dailies with it, while you slowly build your Tier 1 deck.
How many wildcards can you have? AFAIK there is no limit.
General advice? When you draft, it is ok if you pick a card that has no synergy in your drafted deck but you need in your collection; a good card that you can choose is often more valuable than a pack full with cards that are useless to you.
One commendable thing about HS is that the casual matchmaking feels way better than those of other online CCGs: in HS the matchmaking seems to bring people closer to 50% WR whereas in other games you can play dozens of games and you will be less likely to win if you have a meme deck.
I watched the whole Blizzcon last year and it was an ok experience, definitely worth the 40 bucks I paid; the downside is that I had to stay up until 3-4am to watch as much as I could as it happened. Not 100% sure if the content is worth 50 bucks tho.
Just a comment: Warrior's quest and Giant Rusher. Both benefit from playing Rush minions, but since both epics recruit minions, it may make sense to benefit from summoning the Rush minions rather than playing them and, considering that the Quest reward recruits Rush minions, it looks like the Warrior cards would be better in a midrange deck, where the Rush minions can contest the board unparalleled.
A golden Whizbang and a dr Boom from BDP. Also during this period I crafted a Gnomeferatu for my Control Warlock and a Bloodbloom for my Mechathun Evenlock.
In odd control warrior this is a great addition. Depending on the deck i might also be useful in normal control warrior. If you don´t have good armor/healing and use other weapons then it looses it´s place.
And i beat mally druid. Outarmored ... Same with aggro.
Yeah odd warrior seems like the perfect environment for the supercollider: lots of armor gain and up to 6 minions killed with 5 mana.

I miss the guy with the original timestamps. I want to know about Gaara's redneck mom, who likes Doritos, apparently.

I understood that reference

When K&C came out, the card was ranked Tier 3 in the Legendary crafting guide; that for me says safe-ish.

Correct (save for physical goodies ofc).

True tho; the deck is quite ok, I like the fact that I just opened a second Injured Blademaster and wanted to use him.

I don't have the second Shadow Visions so I just subbed in Zerek, Master Cloner because I have him and nowhere to use him
EDIT: Zerek is useless here, I added a Topsy Turvy

Good to see that Zola the Gorgon went from a safe-ish 400 dust to competition level.

I like the new expansion!

What about this Midrange Hunter? 2800 dust, seems to be tier 2.
