If you have an ice block up, it will be amazing. If they don't kill anomalus and go face you can trade him in and clear their whole board as well as heal to full. Yikes.
Nice, I think you found the main use case for it. wow, full heal in mage.
edit: I'm also not really sure for Sindragosa. It is basically a two edged sword, which might prove itself a little bit too clunky with the whole value generation. True - you get a legendary when you ping the token AND you get a water elemental (if already in DK form) but if you are unable to ping the token (turn 9 or no mana), your opponent can kill them and get the leggies. This is the real downside of this card.
I don't think that works how you think it works. If your opponent kills Piloted Shredder he doesn't get the 2 drop. If your opponent kills the Frozen Champions you will get the Legendary. In the DK scenario they will simply prevent you from spawning a Water Elemental.
(By the way Mods, there are two cards linked as Frozen Champion, and it seems to be defaulting as the wrong one!!)
In case of Piloted Shredder the card text simply states Summon and after he dies, he *summons* the new minion in his place. When it comes to Sindragosa the minions spawned are worded differently. Frozen Champion has the word TO YOUR HAND in it's card text. With cards like Mountainfire Armor with "If it's your opponent turn" effects, the text implies that the person actually KILLING the token gets the legendary minion. C'mon, we all know B.Brode and his word plays when it comes to card text.

You are super overthinking it lol. Shimmering Tempest doesn't gift your opponent a Mage spell when your opponent trades into him; these Frozen Champions won't be doing the same...unless they're mind controlled first.
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3

"You" and "your" always refer to the player who controls the card with the effect (or the card that originally created the effect, in the case of buffs). It has nothing to do with whose turn it is.

Oke, I'm very happy to admit I was mistaken. Shimmering Tempest is a great example in this case. :D
I'm just too used to stupid card effects rolling with each new expansion and really started overthinking the effect. Glad to say, Sindragosa might actually be a good card, as I thought otherwise initially. Now let's hope Anomnomalus will synergize with the new HP and I'm more than happy with the new Mage cards as I main it most of the time.
I'm pretty sure lifesteal effects apply to any effect caused by the card which would make anomalus a very interesting card to play when your opponent doesn't have a silence or transform handy. Either he lets you wreck his face and heal you or he wipes the board and heals you. Hmmm...maybe I'll craft Anomalus.
Side note if you're going to run Sindragosa in a DK deck your turns ideally would be T8---> The Lich King T9---> Frost Lich Jaina T10---> Sindragosa and ping a frozen champion for a free Water Elemental and legendary
Poisonous was just changed in the Pre Expansion patch to work with Deathrattle effects. It goes to reason that there is a chance Lifesteal, another key word, will also work with Deathrattles now.
I think Anomalus just isn't good against the type of decks Frost Lich Jaina wants to be good against, even if he has Lifesteal. Don't get me wrong he might save you in a couple of matches, but most of the time I think he might struggle to be placed. I think Baron Geddon will fit his place more comfortably.
oh snap I did not even think of Baron Geddon so glad I have that card. You could even play it on the same turn as Drakkari Enchanter for extra life steal shenanigans
Absolutely try everything possible to make this card work. More creativity is good. Mages, although I rarely play mage, have plenty of other tools to help set up such a card. The nature of the Hearthstone overall scene (meta, tournament centric or competitive discussion focus, short season with punishing ladder mode, etc) however seems to sap a lot of possible experimentation from people. Go the other way.
I tested the interaction and can confirm: Anomalus's deathrattle explosion does work with lifesteal when you are Frost Lich Jaina. I went from 1 health (the opponent proc'ed my Ice Block before trading) up to 30, due to the number of minions on the board.

Can someone test this? There has to be someone here on Hearthpwn who has anomalus and jaina on the NA servers, right?
On the third day before Witchwood, Blizzard gave to me,
three Handlock decks,
two Molten Giants
and a winstreak to Legend Rank #3
Disclaimer: This is a fictional poem and this didn't actually happen to me.

Has anyone tested the Anomalus interaction yet?
