I know Priest is getting a lot of negative sentiment these days, but this one is a different flavor.
Wild quest priest with most every value card that can be jammed in there
netherspite historian, museum curator, defender, shade, etc
I would say this qualifies as semi-competitive but i never take it past rank 10 anyway...games are too long and i am really not one for grinding. but at the ranks i am at i am better than 50% at least, yes it can beat pirate warrior and tempo mage occasionally even though it doesn't matter too much
no tech, no geist, just value and removal pretty much
I'm not countering you whatsoever. I think a game like this needs places for people to vent and I'm saying this seriously.
I'm not crazy about the Barnes deck either and I generally like priest as one of my classes.
At least I can say that Highlander priest isn't that easy to play and there are a lot of variations so it's not the most boring thing Hearthstone ever did.... So I'm not thinking it really hurts the game overall.
I have been trying to digest what everyone's been saying here and elsewhere. Without discussing it card by card but just taken as a whole, basically The Meta is going to get worse. Is this the general consensus?
2. Jade Druid- So overpowered that i can let my dog grind the 100g a day :)
3. Exodia Mage- Drawing cards all day and just freezing the board. Doesnt matter what opponent play as long as my draw is good.
Hey, it's hearthstone, you can play whatever you want. But honestly, I think those 3 decks would be voted the "least fun" to play against. I'm glad you enjoy them, however!
Edit: I would like to ask, are you interested in this game just to win? Do you not enjoy trying new things and being creative? Not trying to be an ass, I'm genuinely asking, I would be so bored playing those archetypes. Exodia mage is the highest skill ceiling of those 3 decks, but people hate it because they feel like they have one option - that's to vomit their hand onto the board and rush you down before you reach your combo and can freeze the board every single turn. I'm curious, besides winrate; what draws you to these decks?
The question is slightly confusing on a couple of levels...
I would have thought that it's pretty easy to believe that a number of people find the game interesting enough to play and discuss while also finding countless repetitive hours of grinding for hardly any reward not very interesting.
Interesting game (despite the condition of the meta at times). Not interesting, unrewarding ladder. Makes sense to me.
And it is the druid meta. Grinding now is like watching grass grow. Grass...jades...same difference.
But hey, anyone who's into it, keep grinding and have a blast. I don't blame you, of course. It is Hearthstone after all (the reason we're here at this site).
This is nowhere near a classic "salt" level. But I didn't want to start a new thread about this. It's more disappointing but also kind of makes me laugh a little although not sure why...
...Yes, I get the BMing. Well, I dont' "get it" 'cause I don't understand really the mentality, but I get that it is there and am not really worried about it - people want the chance to do that kind of thing...okay let them be I guess :)
but when both players are playing really interesting decks, and both decks, even from different classes, have some type of similar vibe Obviously, and the game is completely epic and then at the end I lost then... - BMing...it's like wow, can't you just save it for opponents playing lame decks at least :)
anyway, kinda funny, kinda - I dunno...thanks for reading
Generally, I am just wondering about the fixability of HS. Perhaps it just "is what it is"?
I know that it is a little bit easier for those that have only put a modest amount of money into the game to be objective and a little detached about it. And a lot of us would like a great CCG that is cross-platform PC/mobile, but it seems that it just has inherent problems and odd card/deck designs and it pretty much "is what it is". I have just changed my outlook/expectations as I have come to understand this (I began in LOE days).
And no, I don't play jades or druids. Anyway, best regards to the community...still some pretty good discussions on here.
Really interesting. Just tried it. I have been interested in ideas for a dragon paladin in the past as well. Since there is no curator is it possible that loot hoarder could replace hydrologist or is that too old school?
EDIT: well, having added curator, that makes my previous question here irrelevant. :)

I play priest as one of my two or three main classes. Priest has been good for a few weeks. Please change this; it seems strange to me.

Just just my two cents.... Probably worth $0.01

I've been stomped so many times by pirate Warrior that I can't be totally convinced it's gone

I take it the timing of these packs varies a bit? I didn't get mine and I just logged on. Not really worried - just curious

This is not a rhetorical question:
Ignoring the freeze mage, or similar, application..
...which other cards seriously make an opponent consider not playing a minion on that turn beside doomsayer?
(I understand that in a thread this long someone surely asked something similar, my apologies)
I would like to know because I too would like an alternative even though I have no beef with doomsayer myself personally.

You may want to consider the style of play you want to play and go from there.

Fun fun fun for everyone!

The vibe that's finally becoming clearer to the community: it's not JUST about the power level of druid.
It's when the game is flooded with anything it also makes the games way more boring. And it doesn't help that Jade is really dull.
Is Blizzard expecting hearthstone to continue to get better? It seems possible the game is past its best moment

Anything interesting
