I don't get why people say quest rogue destroys control I can only beat quest rogue as control (probably could with Aggro too but I don't play fast Aggro) it's only midrange that I have a bit of a problem with quest rogue
Quest rogue defenders are missing the point. Not everyone enjoys grinding away with aggro or paladin. Sure quest rogue doesn't have a high winrate, but neither did jade druid. The fact that it exists makes it painful for me to que a game with priest, shaman or anything creative
Oh please, i've played Silence Priest for a day went 2-0 against Quest Rogue's, i've played Kalimos Shaman had around 50% winrate against quest Rogue, now i'm trying out Evolve Shaman and i've won every game against quest rogue. You have to understand that there are decks that counter Quest Rogue and decks that are countered by Quest Rogue. The card is not broken, if they nerf the card, card will become unplayable. Small-Time Bucanner pre nerf was broken card, this is fine.
2-0? Amazing sample size. I did 5-1 against quest rogue with my priest to begin with. ~80 games later, winrate against quest rogue is 35%
I do understand that "there are decks that counter Quest Rogue and decks that are countered by Quest Rogue". This is precisely the problem. I don't want to win or lose games because I queued into the wrong guy with the wrong deck. I don't want to win like that either because it gives no sense of accomplishment. The polarization of the meta in the last 2 expansions is ridiculous
Just check out the vS data on quest rogue (Top Archetype Matchups tab). Quest rogue has multiple matchups in the 30%s and 60%s. You can compare that with midrange hunter, where almost everything is between the 45%-55% range

If you're being "creative," I have a feeling you're going to have trouble in any meta. (And you cannot point to Rogue as the reason Priest is bad.)
That said, if you creatively put some Golakka Crawlers or Dirty Rats in your deck, it might help. Especially if you believe Quest Rogue is the only thing keeping you down.

The point is the expectation of being on top of any matchup just because you play Control.
If you don't want to adapt to the meta, it's your fault.
Mill is even more difficult than Control. But it's out of meta. By your logic, Mill should be able to defeat ANY deck. As much as i'd love that, i can't expect it.

Guys defending the quest - you must play it or you are just brainless. The quest is easy to complete, mostly, they manage to complete it before turn 5 and then spam the board with 5-5 with charge or freeze etc... the quest is OP and blizzard WILL nerf it for sure somehow.

Haha, I was looking for this comment. Played for a day and went 2-0...
It was just an example i'm not really a fun of priest and i didn't invest a lot of time or dust into crafting a priest deck, i've made one with the cards that i've had, just to test it out. I've played a lot of meta decks from this expansion including Quest rogue. And in my opinion it's one of the worst decks at the moment. I have really good winrate against that deck, because it's same deck over and over again. You know which card they are going to play before they even play it. It's predictable deck, you can easily counter every play that they make. The deck that i would call brain dead is Warrior quest. Or rather the entire class is brainless. It used to require skill, but after the release of MSoG, it became brainless class and Un'Goro didn't change that.
The number of people defending Quest Rogue is too damn high. This is seriously depressing..
It's a garbage deck and i don't understand why are people so bitchy about them. You just gotta play aggressively against them. For me presonally they are easiest deck in the game to beat. The only way they can outvalue any other deck is if they have perfect draw, which doesn't happen all that often.
I don't care if its weak NOW. Same goes with Jade Idol. It is a huge design limiter and I really care for the future of this game. Probably even more than devs themselves...

You're obviously lying because Elemental Shaman cannot win against quest rogue in any way except them accidentally conceding.

I messed up and didn't quote the person I was replying to into my comment properly. I'm sure your comment was meant towards NightCrawl3er.
The annoyance of quest rogue isn't the win rate. It's that you can't do anything to counter it besides a well timed dirty rat or play pirate warrior. This is extra frustrating when you add in that blizzard nerfed and sent cards to wild claiming they were too "non-interactive." Lies. They are fine with whatever state the game takes as long as shareholders are happy. Thinning out everyone's best cards was a part of this strategy
I love queuing into these guys. Currently 19-2 against Quest Rogue. Once they realize their winrate is bad - they will move on and play something else.
I play exodia quest mage and I win a lot of times against Quest Rogue. It certainly easier to beat than hunter.

"Quest rogue is not Broken" damn bro thanks for the laugh!
G=Good B=Bad Do you see the pattern? Every second expansion is always trash.
G: Goblins V Gnomes , Old Gods, unguro
B: TGT, gadgetzan, Knights (Unreleased so MAYBE)
