So with new expansion just having been released we already got a small look at the new decks, my question however, what is the best one? And before you go and comment: "The expansion has only been out for like a day it's too early to tell". And my reply to that is: "You're right". But keep in mind this is just for fun and who knows we can predict some parts of the new meta, or mabey not and a new deck shall rise and go on to dominate the meta, anything can happen!
Anything anti meta is at the top of the bracket right now since smart players are sniping these decks. I literally got from 15 to 9 the last day playing home brew anti meta decks.
Want to beat pirate? Play gollaks and the elemental package
Want to beat timewarp/quest rogue? Play dirty rats
Wanna beat control? Play value generating cards.
Right now my main anti meta deck is a Jade rogue since it can run most of those packages very easily. It struggles in the pirate warrior match up but has a high winrate against virtually everything else. It would probably be insane if I could tweak it towards dealing with pirate better but it's hard.
I've even created a pally deck with the elemental package and then a lot of midrange and dirty rats/gollaks which also has been carrying me.
So, there are strong and over played decks, just tech against them and your deck may form the meta.
Quest Rogue is strong! Also Elemental Shaman, haven't played it myself but looks fun and strong.
I believe elemental decks still have tons to give, there are many tools and they seem to be more flexible dragons, the only bad thing I believe is that there is no neutral finisher for them, Kalimos is great but if you want to play Elementals in other class you kind of lack that last punch.
yeah that's very likely, at the moment it's really just a game of rock paper scissors though, Rogue beats control, control beats aggro/zoo, aggro/zoo counters rogue
Im playing tempo priest and its working very well, had'nt played for a while ao i started the expansion at like rank 23 but ive climed to 8 and still going strong and it can beat all of the current decks.
Where is Jade druid? The deck did not lose any core piece, I simply added Harrison Jones, Bloodmage Thalnos and Toxic Sewer Ooze for the rotated cards. I did not see quest rogues yet, but it still shits on anything trying to play the value game, including quest warrior after he gets his rag heropower.
It's again a rock paper scissor thing here. Quest hunter absolutely destroys quest rogue. But overall I still think that pirate warrior is the strongest one especially since people don't play Ooze or Reno anymore ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Quest Rogue is undoubtedly the strongest decks. It absolutely destroys control decks as they can pump out Jarraxus level threats multiple times, sometimes with charge, with barely any effort. The only deck that can reliably beat it is the cancer face decks, and sometimes not even then.
With that said I still think handlock is viable, if you're not facing Quest Rogue.
I feel Quest Rogue has great versatility as an archetype. Depending on its realisation, it can become a Midrange-ish deck with N'zoth or an Aggro-like deck with Pirate & Murloc package.
I think it's to early to say but for now i think Rogue Q and Mage Q have highest potential to be played on large scale. Priest also got some interesting cards, but it seems like only viable priest is control priest. Hero power forbids priest to be played as any other type exept control variant. I belive when meta setles a bit we will see a lot of druids claiming the ladder.

At the moment I definitely think quest rogue. But I think a countermeta with some aggro decks will soon pop up, which'll mean the demise of rogue.
Fuck cubelock
Quest Rogue.

Soon this thread will be full of people saying quest rogue and they are not wrong until the dirty aggro meta that can beat it emerges

I like Elemental Mage but I haven't played enough to optimize my deck
Quest warrior with Dirty Rat as a tech vs quest mage and quest rogue has good chances against all of these decks.
Some notable decks I would add to the list:
Flower Miracle Rogue
Non quest Control Priest (which is better than quest priest)
Aggro Burn Mage
Personally, i hate aggro tempo mage.
f2p, playing for fun ^^
Imo pirate warrior is the strongest deck. It has too many good matchups and the counter cards were not good.
it beats quest rogue too btw for anyone thay wants to crush the rogues

haha i didn't even know that was a thing

Quest rogue is the best but one specific version, using Glacial Shard.
This card help you to deal with the early agression, the only weakness the deck have.
