I would love for it to be Shaman, but it will likely be bullshit murloc or midrange Paladin.
It definitely looks like there might be a divine shield/murloc pally incoming which would be incredibly annoying. Steward of Darkshire could shine. Murlocs with divine shield! RNGesus help us...
They have not released anything even half-way good yet. Top decks that are close to standard decks already: elise warrior, miracle, reno lock, druid and a few aggro decks will remain on top. Midrange shaman may become viable, but if fatigue decks with tons of board clears are a thing, shaman will get dumpstered as well.
Well that thread is what class will get the best cards to support it class. This thread is about people predicting what class will be on top after the expansion release. This thread focus on cards outside the expansion also.
Shaman. Can't really say with 2/3 of the set and the nerfs TBD, but as of now there's a lot more to do with the class with the new cards, it has a decent deck losing exactly one card from it, the class has none of the most mentioned nerf candidates, the TGT class cards were actually pretty good and will be more prevalent in standard since the Naxx/GVG cards were where Shaman was neglected hardest, and you get the feeling they want to overcompensate for how bad the class has been.
Depending on nerfs handlock looks pretty strong! Zoo was always a thing and I doubt the zoo cards will be nerfed.. And warlock is sure to get some early game.. Wrathguard looks great.
Warrior also got great cards so far, druid too.
But the biggest winner so far is shaman 4 cards revealed so far all of them are top quality.
Paladin is going to be nuts with the Murloc card that replaces the hero power. Murloc Warleaders are now cheap Quartermasters and if they have the new 3 drop out they all have divine shield. If Divine Favor isn't nerfed this is the best aggro deck in the game.
Don't know why anyone is voting priest as they have revealed 2 shit cards and a slightly below average card along with losing:
-Lightbomb = one of the two best clears the class has along with Auch + Circle
-Shrink, Cultist and Deathlord = are pretty common place in control priest decks which are the only viable ones at the moment
-Velens = There best buff card and again pretty much seen in all decks.
Unless the rest of the priest cards are amazing its going to be the same priest decks which are wildly inconsistent and in general do not have favorable matchups against most other Tier 1/2 decks.
Optimistic about rogues, but I think shaman is going to be in a pretty good place after the expansion release. We will have to wait and see what changes are made to the basic cards as well as see what the rest of the cards released are in the set.
LOOOOOL people voting shaman because of two cards hahahahahaha. Hype sickness. Go heal yourself.
Shamans just got a yeti and a totem-condition-tazdingo, open your eyes.
Once again paladin got new entire archetypes designed just for them (aggro murloc, nzoth deathrattle), because there wasn't enough viable paladin archetypes right.
Not to mention secret pal, eboladin and anyfin are still viable.
Paladin is the OP class. Forever. BB specifically said that he favors paladins. What else do you need ?
MY BOY SHAMANNNN.Ready to make it rain, it's our time to shine now. This has been long awaited!. I dream of a Hearthstone overloaded with green faces and well, overload :P! Everyone will be picking up Shaman now! I have gold portrait already so I'll have to work on my Warlock, who I think will be Second in Command! Reno C'Thun Warlock anyone?? Warlock has always been a top class and I don't think it's going to change anytime soon just because they got two questionable cards.
Lets hope no class gets "on top" and all classes are all equally good.
That said, Shaman has some nice cards revealed so far, so lets get that class a comeback :)
Ahh this. I hope for the same. Every class should have such an equal chance of winning in this game that it then comes down to what the players can do and not the class itself.
I think no players passionate about their class want it to be on top. You get the top class and suddenly it becomes cancer, wins aren't valued, the gold portrait is mocked and you're just another one of the massive horde.

SWCCG World Champ- Star Wars CCG, best card game ever
In my opinion and order:
Priest
Shaman
Warlock/paladin
Warrior/mage/druid
Hunter/rogue
Warlock
Shaman. CCGing since '98.
Warlock is impossible to be bad. It is the safest bet by far.
Here's my predictive class tier list:
Warrior=Shaman>Warlock>Druid>Rogue>Priest>Paladin>Mage>Hunter
Shaman, finally.

Shaman shouldn't be too far behind.

I vote Shammy as they lose little and gain a lot.

It's gonna be Huffer class and you all know it.
