Created a fatigue-like priest deck with draw and elise starseeker. Actually having a lot of fun with it! What type of decks are you guys playing her in?
I am tinkering with a zoo like deck with rafaam and elise in it, and a bunch of draw cards added in. So far I have yet to get the golden monkey, but hope to get there sometime tonight lol
I am also a proponent for slower, well thought out games. I just finished a game with a Rogue deck that's basically a mill backbone with Youthful Brewmasters, Brann Bronzebeard, and Elise Starseeker added to it. I can honestly say that it is THE most fun I've had playing a deck in a very long time.

Wait, wait, I'm missing something here? If you got all those legendaries after playing Elise Starseeker and the Golden Monkey (wich is obvious after taking a look at the history bar), why some of them are golden and the others not? Another silly bug already?
I'm playing her in Control Warrior. Each of the cards individually aren't that bad (4 mana for 3/5 isn't terrible, 2 mana for a card isn't terrible, and 4 mana for a 6/6 taunt is fantastic), and the effect is guaranteed since they are battlecry cards. I wasn't too sure given the number of bad legendaries, but so far I have been pleasantly surprised.
Here is a King Crush lethal after playing Mistcaller... TWICE, Tirion for the weapon, and Toshley for the +1. Mirror Matchup. Pretty standard decklist, but a bit extra card draw.
Any idea why, after finishing the combo, some legendaries are golden and some are not? I have no golden legendaries in my collection, but that can't be the explanation. Also, it is not limited to class cards, as I got a Nat Pagle golden out of her too. Is the difference what you draw, vs what was in hand?
It is any legendary minion, with no class restrictions. Just managed to get Golden Monkey out and got a Varian Wrynn in my hand. Still lost the game though, even after getting 3 bombs on the board from Varian. I think control is the way to go with this card, as opposed to a more tempo oriented deck which is what my warlock deck is like... I also have Wilfred Fizzlebang and Justicar Trueheart in there for the long game value, and I ended up cutting Arch-Thief Rafaam cause he just wasn't doing anything useful most of the time.
I've been playing her in a mill-ish Rogue deck. The problem I tend to run into is that after I get the Golden Monkey out, all the legendary cards I receive tend to be too high in mana cost, so I end up only being able to play one card each turn.

Wow, I'm glad to see others are having fun with elise, I love the card. I'm gunna get on now to test the whole golden legendary thing, but I think it as what was said above: if the card in your deck or hand is golden, it is changed into a golden legendary.

So far I'm getting punded back to back with aggro decks for last 2 hours and didn't get to play her yet
Piloted Shredder, Knife Juggler, Mad Scientist, Dr. Boom
Need to be removed from this game
Fatigue decks is why aggro exsist.
20 minute games are no fun, and if you lose... a huge waste of time =(
Unhappy Fatigue Warrior/ Fatigue decks got stronger because of this card *sigh*
Nightblade Argent Lance Flame Imp
Argent Watchman Argent Squire Frost Giant
Aviana Hogger Snipe Sea Giant
Interesting. I am in no need of quick wins, so I'd rather play slow decks and think out games strategically.

I think the difference might be cards in hand (regular) and drawn cards (legendary), although I'm not sure why. All should be blinged out.

Nope, that's not it. As I said above:
lol i got 3 mal ganises and one of them golden
So it isn't just that if the original card was golden, then the legend it gets changed into by the monkey is?

UPDATE: forgot to take screenshots (my bad) but at the last second I saw that golden cards do change into golden legendaries.
