posted a message on Why is Wild so interesting?

Because playing standard means that i just accept the fact that blizzard took a couple hundred bucks i invested in their game, and threw it in the trash. Please sir, take some more of my stuff as punishment for YOUR inability to balance the game.

posted a message on Is there ANY viable archtype outside Zoo and Reno??

The fact that you would even attempt some kind of discard warlock tells me your experience and knowledge of the game is far below average. Remember , if the idea came from Ben Brode it is going to be garbage. What's next, complaining that Purify Priest isn't  viable? Duh, of course it's not. Being able to recognize obviously terrible ideas like throwing away  card advantage in order to gain LOSE tempo should be kind of a given if you've been playing for a year plus.

posted a message on This is why Competitive Hearthstone is a Joke

Hearthstone is not a real esport. Just because it draws viewers does not make it a competitive game. Poker is the best analogy here. Just because it's on ESPN does not make it a sport. You will never see Poker matches at the Olympics, just as skill based esports competitors will never set foot near a glorified coin flip SHIT show like hearthstone.

If you have played other online CCGS it would be pretty apparent  to you that hearthstone is by far the easiest to play, and the way the game is designed is to deliberately let bad players win games at random, to stroke their egos and keep them interested. Like all blizzard games from WOW to the present, blizzards genius is making games that are so easy you can basically face roll your keyboard and sometimes just win. They develop video games for people who are bad at video games. This is why there are so many "pro" hearthstone players, because people like forsen finally found a game they can win at sometimes. Not because of their skill of course, but because the game is designed in such a way that most of the time, the cards and their rng decides the outcome of a match, and only in rare cases do the players. 99% of HS players are simply bad at strategy games, but blizzard was smart  enough to develop a game that drew them in with free wins and easy, flashy games. You can be high as a kite or drunk as fuck and still do ok, because your strategy and execution of said strategy rarely affects the outcome of the game.

Use your brain. Build your own decks. If all you ever do is copy/paste other people's decks you will forever find yourself in this position....wanting  to try something different but unable to because of your own lack of imagination and/or skill.

posted a message on Karazhan too easy?

Hearthstone is a too easy, period. With all the awesome collectible card games that have been launching (Faeria, hex, duelyst) lately i am amazed people are still even logging in to Hearthstone. If you are looking for an actual strategy game that doesnt decide the winner through over the top rng, try literally any other CCG out there. All of them have done a great job of keeping rng out of the cards and mitgating issues caused by bad draws. And while one could argue Duleyst and Hex developers are probably as greedy as blizzard, with faeria you can unlock the entire classic set for just 50 bucks. Much better than buying lottery tickets from blizzard so you can open your 10th useless cppy of lorewalker cho.

posted a message on New Legendary Card - Moroes

All it needs is like 1 more health to be playable. Maybe +1/+1.... it leaves me wondering why they made the body so weak when it is competing with other 3 drop token generators like Imp Master and Imp Gang Boss which are both....strictly better.

posted a message on Any suggestions on how to improve this deck?

What about this list makes it "antiaggro" ?? You only have 1 cons, 1 equal and a friggen doomsayer. Your early drops are poorly statted amd unlikely to stick around for a turn or two so you can use your argus/sunfury on them. There is simply too much healing and nowhere near enough board control to fight aggro. You cant just heal yourself endlessly it won't do anything if he still has minions on the boaed to keep bashing you with. My advice is forget reno and put in the "good" paladin heals-- forbidden healing × 2 and at least 1 lay on hands. Then you need to consider your curve better because its a paladi so you need more early game to trade with as you will still have limted board clear compared to more control oriented classes like mage, warlock,  priest, hell even warrior has more aoe and quite a bit more removal in general. Paladin wins the early game by playing minions, not by sitting back trying to draw one of their 2 consecrates.

posted a message on Poll - If you could remove one quest form the game..

I dislike watch and learn because id rather play than spectate. The free pack is great value i suppose for a new player, and i don't have a problem with that, but i do feel that all the quests should be tied to gameplay, not just being a spectator.

posted a message on Countering Secret Paladins (Tavern Brawl

Well the real trick to beating secret paladin is to maintain board control so that he is forced to use MC onto his own empty board. You can now easily counter him w a hero power attack face to trigger noble sacrifice which triggers avenge and redemption which means you can kill his 9/8 challenger w a bgh or other hard removal and be left with just a 2/1 to deal with. Your deck unfortunately has almost no plays to make until turn 5...maybe 3 if you count innervate plays or your single grove tender. Personally i dont see what a grove tender is doing for you, amd would much rather see keeper of the grove in there to deal w stray avenge or blessing of kings buffs. I'd like to see 1 or 2 bghs, and id like you to have a reasonable curve with at least a coupke cards each for turns 1-4. With your cureent list you are just passing your turn/hero powering 3 or 4 times in a row. That is bad. So is giving your opponemt a mana crystal so he can drop MC a turn early. Get some sticky minions in there to fill the early turns, and i would cut both recycle and naturalize for the traditional wrath amd swipe to deal w musters and jugglers. You really do NOT wamt to be giving mana crystals and extra cards to a deck that is already out tempoing you...that's just suicide.

posted a message on Rank 19/20 "farmers" getting golden heros

Dude what part of this game requires skill?? Lmfao there is as much strategy to Hearthstone as there is to a rousing game pf heads or tails....omfg so funny reading this douchenozzles post "as a legend player derpa derpa durr"

Golden portraits have never had anything to do with skill, it has always been 500 wins over any amount of time. Meaning that everyone can get one given enough time. If they were supposed to be skill based they would be rewarded for 100 consecutive wins or something equally preposterous,  instead if just "hey, play long enough and here you go"

posted a message on Priest sucks and needs massive improvement

Go play wild. Its like travelling back in time to like...2 months ago....when priests destroyed every single control deck they came across. Your problem here is you believe standard means something or is something other than a cash grab to keep you on an endless tradmill of buying new cards as they are released. It is not improving gameplay, it is in fact, pure greed. And most of the Hearthstone fanbois fell for it.

posted a message on What is more consistent? More removal with less draw or vice versa?

Card draw is what makes a deck consistent. Whether or not your deck needs more removal is a whole separate matter, unrelated to card draw.
