Why do people keep saying that Shaman is bad at joust because of Overload? Do you guys even play Shaman? No one even plays the overload minions. Your never see Dunemaul Shaman, Fireguard, that whirlwind thing, or Earth Elemental cause no one plays them. Shaman just uses overload spells.
Legit the only two minions that effect joust beause they have overload are Neptulon (who see little play anyway but some) and hes still 7 mana so would win most jousts. And the new Totem Golem which is 2 drop... so ofcourse if you draw such and early game creature youre gonna lose the joust regardless of if he has overload of not.
Overload effecting joust just is hardly a thing at all since the actual cards with overload that are played are not minions. Its cards like Feral Spirts, Doomhammer, The new draw card, Bolt/Crackle/Lava Shock, etc. Those doesnt get factored into joust.
Well this is good against aggro and functional against control or midrange, very good card for control shaman. As far as everyone going on about overload making shaman minions cheaper, just play less of those?
It says "compare minions". Does it mean totems too? Or totems kinda not minions? I'm confused.
Totems are minions. All the guys that remain on the board, regardless of tribe (Totem, Murloc, Demon) are minions. So you best only field low mana cost weapons and spells for removal if you plan to Joust as shaman, and pack lots of high mana cost minions.
Explain to me how it can make sense that the GameChanging like of Priest's ShadowBomber and newly revealed Warlock Epic Dreadsteed can be considered in anyway Epic when This Beautiful, Paladin-esqe Monster of a Heal is only Rare?
people who shout "OP" etc: yes, its a lot of healing and probably a good card. but its obvious blizzard has realized their previous healing cards are way underpowered. so if the other classes that can heal get some heal they will also be way better than the old cards people are comparing with. we can already see tuskarr jouster and flash heal is a lot of heal per mana. and healbot upgraded heal per mana in last expansion too.

Yikes ._.
You do know that rarity doesn't mean how powerful a card is?
I think that's good, usually when I open a pack and get epic/legendary, it's not good enough to be played, but not bad enough to be disenchanted. I'd rather just get bad card.
I'm not complaining. This card is all upsides. Its cheap to cast (3m), no overload, gives you +7 health, and if you win the mini-game you instead get 14 health back.
With that as shell for a Shaman deck, the most life you can earn is 44 with just those cards. Yet we have to account for the gamble, alright, at its lowest you earn only 30 Life.

I've gotten so bored of mech shaman. Missed th old days of mid range and control. Glad to see they may be viable again!
WHAT? WOW! How is that not overpowered? :O
So now Shaman overheals both priest and paladin..
I didn't have a signature so Flux added one for me.

I think the most common response to this card (I know it was mine) was basically "WHAT!?"
◥·̆◤TO ARMS TOTEMS!◥·̆◤
Only creatures in your deck, and yes the totems that are cards are considered minions.
die aggro! just die!
Heavy control shaman incoming!
Just what the Dr. Boom ordered. If your behind on board, just play these two and you should be fine.
