Moroes is weird because how he is costed and what his stats are seem a bit, polarizing. Let me explain. When you compare Moroes to both Blood Imp and Hogger and Patient Assassin, he seems extremely weak overall when compared to to comparable examples from just the Vanilla set. Going into the Basic set even Razorfen Hunter makes Moroes look weak.

    Moroes seems over all:

    • Over costed when compared to Patient Assassin or Blood Imp for the price of Stealth.
    • His tokens are weaker when compared to Hogger.
    • His body is too fragile considering he has only 1 Health.
    • The closest comparison to him is a Razorfen Hunter that although she is a Battlecry she has better stats for her cost and has effectively the same board impact in terms of tokens if Moroes does not survive during your opponent's turn. She also has a stronger board presence based on being a 2/3 for 3 than a 1/1 for 3

EDIT: If I or anyone else had made this card, Moroes, as it is now as a fan creation and posted here on Hearthpwn we would have been given all of the same criticisms.

The fact that you compare it to Razorfen Hunter and not Imp Master shows how little you know about the game, try to learn a little bit more and come back when you can make an educated guess.
First of all: I compared it to a card from the BASIC set. Not expert which also had examples given. its my bad for not including but I will fix that now.
Second: Your point is? Moroes has the exact same benefits if its not shielded or buffed in terms of token value as either a Imp Master or even a Razorfen Hunter. if it was removed before your next turn comes around.
Third: You dismissed my entire argument based on a single example given which is also your weakest point as a counter argument.
Fourth: A personal insult on a persons knowledge again for a single example shows how weak your counter argument is.

One less reason to care about rogue.. unfortunately. As I didn't mind if rogues had this. It was after all their thing. Druids used to have a near identical card to Blade Flurry called Savagery but that card was changed to better distinguish the two. Now BF is almost identical to old school Savagery but it costs twice as much.

First it was the Rogue's old hero power that was remade later into a weaker weapon called Poisoned Blade. Headcrack and Conceal used to be much better than they are now. Then its Blade Flurry andMaster of Disguise to which I personally mock Blizzard for the ineptitude at balancing. They seem to love taking a sledge hammer when it comes to nerfing cards.

As right now the problem child is priest because they are having trouble forming an identity and if these nerfs continue to hit rogue it will become another problem child.

I feel sorry for rogues. This used to be actually a fairly cool card.

posted a message on How Hearthstone Became Unforgiving

Not surprised in the slightest. Blizzard wants to make this game more intriguing for the new player but I would argue they have also forced expansions and adventure modes on them in order to get more people to spend real world money to get the good cards from each expansion and adventure mode. For not only are the cards inticing to new players, it will also help them make their decks stronger at a faster rate if they are willing to pay some cash for the immediate benefit. One could argue its not as bad on ladder but I would disagree and say that even the lowest tier decks still run a few cards that are just immensely better than what you start out with.

I would also say that a new player would rather net deck than create what they own as they want the most benefit for their money even if they are on a budget.

Theoretical Example: I am a new player, I like murlocs from WoW MMO, TCG and the RTS games. I want to build a Murloc deck. So I go online and find out what Murloc cards there are. I decide with my money to buy Vanilla packs to get all the Murlocs to get Old Murk-Eye. Then I buy the first 3 wings of League of Explorers to get the Murlocs there. Then with the dust I got from buying all those Vanilla packs I will craft all the remaining murloc cards. I could have tried to take my time and slowly get gold but my interest is here and now and I don't like loosing as much so I want an immediate benefit instead of playing Hearthstone like its March 11, 2014.

    • Its arguably only better than a Imp Master but only because of its stealth when it comes to targeted removal, attacks and hero powers. Otherwise its more vulnerable to more AoE removal which is in good supply to every class in Standard and Wild.

Hmm what about Moat Lurker + Shadowstep? Does it "remember" the two things that it ate if it got replayed or only one of the two?

no, it will be empty in your hand
Alright that makes sense. It "forgets" the first thing it destroyed and if it gets replayed and destroys a second minion it will only "remember" the second minion.

posted a message on New Hunter Card - Cloaked Huntress

I dunno about meta-defining and I need to see how the meta shapes when all of Karazhan is out, but Cloaked Huntress to me is definitely something I have wanted for years now. A card that makes playing secrets in hunter more interesting.

I am personally thankful it wasn't premade. It allowed me to go full-on Spell Shaman.

posted a message on SO on tavern brawl that is GIVING THEMED...

I did appreciate a new cardback for a victory instead of a pack. To me at least, it made this tavern brawl feel a wee-bit more special than prior ones. :)

posted a message on I really like this new tavern brawl.

I was ever so thankful to the RNG gods that it only took me one game to get my cardback. Also from my experience in one game, Shaman worked fairly nice and didn't feel as punishing as it normally did with Overload. Then again, the presents give you cards with HUGE mana discounts.

posted a message on Decks Assemble - worst brawl ever!!!

The RNG of this brawl can either be hair-ripping-madness or a blissful cruise.

I personally hated this tavern brawl. As someone who has played Shaman regularly and put up with the RNG from that class, this tavern brawl was just not fun. Either you crush your opponents or they crush you.

Also a good amount of the cards in this tavern brawl go from top tier to bottom tier. Like for instance The Mistcaller. It is a 4/4 for 6 that does nothing and his buff is only good if you got a means of drawing cards from your deck like with a Novice Engineer.

Oh the amount of times I wish RNG would give me an AOE spell against boards with minions with 1 or 2 health at most. Even a Baron Geddon would have been good.

Also the most common classes to see in this brawl are Druid/Mage/Rogue, what a surprise...actually its not.

posted a message on Best Decks to Beat Shaman (definitely not salty at all about shaman dominating ladder and getting demoted down from 7 to 13)
    Quote from FryChikN jump

shaman is horrible... it's basically paladin but worse.

Shamans have stronger AoE that does 4-5 damage to ALL minions.

A Self Heal that can heal for 14 for 3 mana.

Totem Golem which is a very strong 2-drop.

And you call Shaman horrible? PFFT.

Why? Class-specific tribal cards make the tribe worse off.
