It’s a great card. If it wasn’t rotating out though they’d HoF it. So... if you’re including Wild cards too... I’d rather play Sylvanas on turn 6 unless there’s a magnetic target for Zilliax to upgrade.
Zilliax needed to be magnetised onto something to be good..with his stats he s just fine.zephris is so cheap because of the restrictions attached to the card. That 1 mana sidequest for recruit in druid is much broken than anything.that sidequest for hunter thar summons 3 1/1s is broken as f .. but oh well .. must be something to compete with galakrond.. zilliax is just lifesteal divine shield tech .. wich is just tasty
Zilliax is most broken legendary for sure, after the Zephrys.
broken? not by a long shot. it was the best legendary ever printed, acceptable power, not broken, insane versability. if thats not worthy of legendary status then i dont know what is. zilliax was never even once oppressive, no one ever called a nerf for it, and that means a lot.
Loatheb is probably the best ever. He was seen in about as many decks as Zillax currently. The knock is that Loatheb is much more of a complicated play. You tend not to just slam him on 5 or when youre low health. The most effective plays came when knowing just the right time to disrupt your opponent. He was a literal game winner (and still is), but an intelligent game winner.
Ive been playing in wild a little bit since ive casually returned to the game. You do see Zillax more there, but that is mainly due to the meta (games over on T4-7 very often, so life gain is a premium. Tons of combo decks, so taunt is really great for slowing that down.) But, Loatheb still sees play.
Control-player would say: Solid minion that balanced the game.
Aggro-player: OP minion with little counterplay.

“Put your faith in the Light!”
Lol people complaining about this card thats so simple to remove? What they have taunt divine shield and heal? Better watch out SMOrc.
One of the best designed cards on this game, that's for sure.
Boring card.

i prefer aggro than control, although midrange is my love, and i think zilliax is the best legendary ever printed.
Obviously a good neutral card along with the others mentioned.
For the best ever is still good ol’ Sunkeeper.
Yogg-Saron, Hope's End is still the best legendary in the game. You can't change my mind.
Like arguing the sky is blue: an established fact that cannot be disputed, for there is no logic that stands against it. Hail Yogg
Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.

Loatheb
How can you not love the guy...
Quest priest hero powering his face the first turns, coins Zilliax on T4, into double Psychopomp... GL regaining board
I'm happy to see him go, bit snip snap even more!
