Good luck not dying while you wait for the armor hero power to appear.
Turn 10 this card + reckless flurry likely clear most board state . Back to rank 20 mate.
True. Board clears that only work from turn 10 onwards and require two cards are generally amazing. I also think waiting to play my hero until I need to clear a board is reasonable, especially a hero that seems to be tempo oriented.
I'll let that stand on its own and refrain from assuming your rank. If your argument is any good it shouldn't need that.
Right, but take a look at DK Rexxar. It impacts the board AND has a long term game effect. This has no impact on the board. And your long term game effect cannot be planned for, just reacted to.
Also, Reckless Flurry and this hero is a 10 mana play. Uhm, nah, thats not much better than Shield Armor and Reckless for much less mana.
Basically, are the HP worth it and mechs having Rush? You have to take a turn off to gain any of the benefits of the Hero.
Hagatha affected the board. Jaina. Rexxar. Even the old Warrior DK did as it provided you with a weapon that was VERY good.
This will not keep you alive against a full board of minions and you will still die. So you can only play this when the board is clear or has little to no threatening minions.
Your deck has to be a Mech deck or this Hero does nothing.
If the Hero power was to always Discover a Mech, I would actually call this playable. That means the turn after you play this Hero, you always have a Rush minion to control the board without ever playing Mechs in your deck.
Eh, we'll see how the rest of the mechs and the Warrior legendary spell pans out. I think people are really underestimating this card.
Around 85% thinks this is a meta defining/very good card.. Am I missing something? This card seems bad. @ turn you play him he doesn't even do anything to influence the board? Also good mechs doesn't make this card good too.. good mechs are good mechs regardless of the battlecry IMO..
So we know Blizzard has tried to make this card a key feature of The Boomsday Project. I wouldn't be surprised if Warrior's legendary spell has further synergies with this card. Example: 10 mana, fill your board with random mechs (that have rush because Dr. Boom's Battlecry).
I agree this card isn't as strong as some of the other DK cards on its own, but there's still room for it to be really good.

You don't think a Rushing mech with magnetized high HP, Attack, and life-steal wouldn't be devastating?
As underwhelming this card may seem in terms of power level, can I just say that this card looks FUN AS HELL.
I'm taking Dr. Boom's Mech warrior to casual for my lols. And if it's semi-competetive, all the better. Now, Blizzard, gimme some nice warrior mech cards.
Cool idea but I don't see this finding spot on standard ladder. If you want the rush synergies you need to play this first. Well, I am patient and will wait for more mech reveals, but my guts say: "bad".

You are missing the Reckless Flurry combo. I didn't see this magnifficent combo either and was promptly called a rank 20 player.

In all honestly no. If a mech is playable then its playable in most classes. You don't want to include subpar mechs to make a deck for this card. Also whats so game devastating about the bcry? We've already seen Houndmaster Shaw. Its good but its not devastating by any means. I know they're not exactly the same but i've had games where I couldn't kill houndmaster the turn it dropped and I wasnt devastated I even won some of them.
It is just frustrating because warrior has been in a bad spot for the past few expansions and all we get a not so exciting card. The current Warrior archtype just needs a few supporting cards to be good or competative and we get a legendary that has a very narrow application and doesnt even improve on the current archtypes.
Oh my goodness. I was so sick of my favorite class not getting good shit lately. This makes up for the long wait. I don’t think I’ve been as excited for something since the old gods reveal back in the day. This will be my first craft easily.

Well, on the plus side, warrior needs only one shudderwock like (finisher) card to be very good. This just isn't that card, but it may still be revealed.
First off, this is obviously a day one craft. However, its a little disappointing that there is no real on-board impact when this is played. It is tun 7, gain 7 mana. Its a slow 7 mana play. the ongoing effect is great and so it the new hero power but it might be hard to play this consistently, especially if board states keep growing.

Pretty good card.
If there wasnt any other DK in the game and Shudderwock.....

fuck off, what a huge let down. why not build a mech? another useless rng hero power
This is really fun!

It's weakness is its inconsistency. Still seems good for a midrange warrior (if that can Happen)

Looks good, and certainly fun to play and play against.
Because if was "build a mech" everyone and their mothers will complain about the lack of creativity...
If you play another DK your mechs still have rush?
Yeah. Same as with Jaina's battlecry.
Trust me, I played a lot of steal priest.
