So we're back to 6 damage for 2 mana, as if FWA had never been nerfed. Thanks, Blizzard.
And to be clear, minions with Rush continue to have the Rush keyword after the initial attack. So, assuming one survives its own Rush attack, you can buff it with this later on.

so this is why they didn't nerf FWA to a 2 mana 2/2 then like most people wanted. xD so they could make room for this, I guess this isn't awful but still not sure whether the rush warrior archetype will be a thing, have to wait and see, but if it's then this will be good, warrior just needs to be revived from the dumpster first. lol
Thrash weapon i guess. if battlecry might be better
Actually the deathrattle is better, since u can activate it the next turn , attack the turn u play it, and the turn after drop a rush minion then attack with this to destroy it, battlecry is kinda slow, with deathrattle u can cheat 2 mana to buff ur darius in turn 5
Actually this card is better than you think but mana cost is not wise seriously atleast make Redband wasp 3 mana 1/5 so this can have a curve value right
I think this is pretty good. Can save the last charge ala bloodrazor, play the rush minion, then expend the last charge so it gets buffed before it attacks.
This is an amazing card if tempo Warrior takes off. It curves perfectly into Militia Commander, but worst case scenario it's just a playable board control tool like Jade Claws.
I love that warrior have a pretty solid turn 2 weapon again, although the difference between 3 attack and 2 attack is enormous. All the OP 1-drops are 1/3s. This does better against cubelock to clear early librarians and mistress (although mistress is rotating and will likely be replaced in many decks by plated beetle, which this weapon is bad against). Minions in all the meta priest decks have 3 health minimum. This is a great tool against both murloc and dude paladin, though.
The ideal new tempo warrior play will be to play and use this on the opponent's 1 or 2 drop on turn 2, play a 3-mana rush minion on 3 and use the last hit of the weapon, buffing the rushing 3-drop for a dominating tempo opener. So a playable rush 3-drop will be one crucial element which tempo warrior potentially will need in the upcoming meta, imo. Currently warrior have Redband Wasp, Militia Commander, and Darius Crowley, a 2, 4, and 5-drop! It's like blizzard have made the same analysis as me and are trying to prevent tempo warrior from having too strong a tempo play across turns two and three. I really hope there does end up being a good rush 3-drop. Warrior need every push they can get to become playable again.
I think Blizzard has to be carefull that they don't overdo things an Warrior becomes the next cancer class. We will have to see if this is enought and its just the first expension of the year so even if it isn't enought it could be enought together with the expansion after witchwood.
Some people on the Reddit have been saying it gives it in hand like Hand-Buff? Is that true?
I never thought otherwise. Wouldn´t make sense on the board.
I wouldn't count on it ... Looks more like Hunter's Glaivezooka, which gave its buff to a random minion on the board.
Otherwise it should explicitly say "in your hand" .
It gives the buff a rush minion on the board. Actually it is better this way you can buff rush minion you played at previous turn or try to buff rush minion you are gonna play this turn. You just need to attack with weapon before attack with rush minion you played.
I remember Blizzard said they wanted to make Hunter the class that was "really good at rush." What happened to that plan? Though I suppose there's a lot of hunter cards yet to be revealed. We'll see!
Dust, but not the worst arena card.

Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
Warrior just NEEDS a 2-mana weapon, This is better than it looks. Even in control decks!
(definetly worse than fiery war axe thogh)
This is actually pretty strong. Might be enough to integrate Rush into warrior, depending on what more support cards are coming.
we need something to deal with the 1 mana 1/3s on turn 1, this doesn't do it
Hearthstone is a game of "copy and pasting"
If rush minions become viable in warrior, I'm sure this card will be a staple. Hope I open the warrior legendary to play around with Rush day one.

Hurray! Something to do on turn 2!

Why people keep saying Rush is an aggressive mechanic?
Not as bad as it initially looks, because you control when the deathrattle goes off. It just needs a good 3 cost rush minion to work.
Not sure what to think about the card yet, but I kind of like the flavor.
I imagine some fighter rushing through the woods and finding that axe leaning against a tree or something.
