Seems playable on the verge of good. It has a lot of potential downside of fatiguing yourself or burning cards and has difficulty with deck building, you need a decent number of dragons to work with it but it can also lead to drawing a lot when control will usually have a lot of cards in hand, and it is really bad when you only draw one card with it. I am unsure if you wouldn't just put in The Curator in instead, although you can of course run both.
Why isn't Wrathion a dragon himself? Yes, he is in human disguise, but doesn't he still count as a dragon? I wonder if we'll get Onyxia and Nefarian's human forms too.
How can you mill yourself? You would have to be using a deck with only dragons which would be terrible.
An interesting idea, but won't you be afraid of burning Auctioneer from drawing too many dragons?
Not entirely; While it would considerably slow you down, you'd have a bunch of dragons in your hand and a 4/5 Taunt on the board to stall until you get 4+ Idols in your hand and start the gravy train rolling anyway.
The more important question is; if you start burning cards, does Wrathion continue to burn cards because you didn't "Draw" a dragon?
Would be fun to experiment with. Would definitely need some spreadsheeting to figure out the optimal number of dragons to not overdraw. I do think dragons are too expensive on average to be able to get rid of them fast enough if your game plan is to dig to the bottom of your deck though. This card would actually be so much better if it kept drawing murlocs or some other cheap tribe rather than dragons.
Regarding burning cards, I think it would only burn cards until you draw (and burn) a non-dragon card. Fatigue cards are also non-dragons, so you can't draw yourself to death with it.

Yeah, Krip just said in his video that it only works on Dragons; you can keep burning dragons but the moment you burn something else it stops drawing.
The deck needs more Faerie Dragons in order to work properly, but all in all I think it's a thing to look out for.
Just for people wondering about the math, say you have a one in three chance of drawing a dragon (7 out of 21 remaining cards) your expected number of draws is not 1.33 but rather:
1 (chance of drawing first card)
+ 7/21 (chance of drawing second card)
+ 7/21 * 6/20 (third card)
+ 7/21 * 6/20 * 5/19 (fourth card)
+ 7/21 * 6/20 * 5/19 * 4/18 (and so on...)
+ 7/21 * 6/20 * 5/19 * 4/18 * 3/17
+ 7/21 * 6/20 * 5/19 * 4/18 * 3/17 * 2/16
+ 7/21 * 6/20 * 5/19 * 4/18 * 3/17 * 2/16 * 1/15
or 1.47 cards on average. Still not terribly impressive, but certainly a bit better than just considering the 1 or 2 card scenario.
Drawing 1 card puts it at 6 mana value. 2 cards at 7.5, 3 cards at 9 mana value. Azure Drake is worth 5.5 mana. So drawing 1 card with it is worse than playing Azure Drake not to mention, no dragon tag. To get value from this card you need to play a deck with a lot of dragons, which means it will probably see play only in dragon priest and maybe dragon warrior.
There is absolutely no reason for Wrathion not to be a dragon. As a dragon, it would have been a great (but not broken) addition to every midrange/control dragon deck. Then this expansion would have been something.
Like that, it's just a decent card, and decent cards do not see play.
They are so fucking bad at handling this game ffs.

How do you figure that? In my mind, drawing a card is worth rougly 1,5 mana and the 4/5 stats are worth slightly less than 4 mana since vanilla 4 mana 4/5s don't see play. I would value this card somewhere between 5 and 5,5 mana with 1 draw. On average, it would pretty much break even at 6 mana in a fairly heavy dragon deck. Cards that break even don't really see play. If it had a dragon tag, I would say that it would see play for sure. As it is now, it will be played for a bit and then tossed away, never to see daylight again.
Edit: Nevermind, I forgot it had taunt... FacePalm I agree that it should probably be valued at roughly 6 mana with one draw. That makes it somewhat more feasible that it's going to see play.

It also has Taunt so it's not a vanilla 4/5. In a fairly heavy Dragon Deck the taunt itself is pretty valuable.
This card: 4/5 taunt for 6 that draws 1.27 cards in average.
The Curator: 4/6 taunt for 7 that draws usually at least 2 and brings Finley. And it's not even a superb card, actually.
So in best case this card is borderline playable.
I think you are misvaluing drawing a specific minion from a specific tag and drawing ANY card from your deck. While specifics are often good, drawing any card is insanely valuable for decks that do spell combos like maly druid and Rogue. Its part of the reason why Azure drake is so excellent in those decks.
Guys, if you don't realize, this was printed because Twilight Guardian is rotating out next year together with Chillmaw and there will be no good taunts left for dragon decks.
Only 1 card is bad, compare for example with new 6/6 warlock give you a demon in end of turn, 2 cards is awesome, better than pre-nerf druid card, 3 is broken, for this card be playable need to draw 2 or more cards 50% of the time, I think Curator is more reliable, is not hard to find good beasts and dragons for him.
That aside, I think this card has some great potential in dragon decks, at the very least it's good value, as it's a 6 cost, decent taunt that's always minimum Draw 1.
"Hey Pal, Trade Prince Gallywix here!"

Seems good. People already play azure drake for 5. If this draws 2 cards it's really good.
You are not prepared!
Even if it draws 1 card it's still good.

Will! It! Fatigue draw!
Think of this at worst it is a 4/5 taunt draw a card. So at worst it is pretty good. If you draw 2 or more cards the value is through the roof.

This will be a pretty good card then.
Hey even in a deck with no dragons you will always draw at least a card.
If azure drake see to much play in the 5 mana curve.
This card is good enough to at least see play in something even if its not a dragon deck.
Card just seems fair to me. Too bad it wasn't a Dragon.

You might just mill yourself with this card
Too unpredictable
At least curator you can choose the beast and or the murloc
