Edwin can just straight win you game. And you really need Thalnos tbh. I would have lost a lot of games without him. Leeroy can be replaced with Southsea Deckhand+faceless. I actually like that version better. Full Combo damage is more, and you can use each as a flex if things come to that point (ex- faceless Tirion or deckhand to clear an aggro minion). And Xaril isn't that necessary. Play Tomb Pillager- just as good.
Leeroy. I've found it to be quite important to the cold blood miracle list to make sure you can actually kill your opponent instead of fizzling out because they're able to remove your stealthed creatures, it also provides you with a good legendary for things like reno lock.
Xaril is also a great craft, but the more consistent power of leeroy is probably going to over shadow him.
I know Bloodmage Thalnos has a lot of fans. This comment may haunt me for years to come, but..
If you don't have Thalnos and want an alternative, just use Kobold Geomancer. I am not joking. Its Mana cost is the same and it has the same amount of spell damage. You already have it in your collection. If you have other card draw engines in your deck, it will serve as a perfectly good replacement and because it is 2/2 instead of 1/1 it even trades better in the early game.
Edwin VanCleef can completely ruin your opponent's early game. I have played The Coin, Preparation, Eviscerate, and VanCleef on turn 2 many times to take out a Shaman's Totem Golem, leaving them with an empty board and me with an 8/8 minion. Without Hex or Earth Shock in hand they are in serious trouble.
Two things, 1: Kobold is not really a good sub, since generally blood mage is there for the cycle, the spell power is just a bonus... and 2: Coin + Prep + evis = +6/6 = 8/8 cleef. Just sayin'.
Just threw together a miracle rogue deck yesterday, played some games with it, and I can say that Leroy won me at least a third of the games I played. I don't even have bloodmage thalnos. Put in a loot hoarder. Leeroy is also useful in almost all aggro as a finisher as well

I agree with everything here except Xaril over Leeroy, I run 2x Tomb Pillage and Xaril in my decks, and he just provides some nice answers. His version of shadowstep has won me the game after paladin played humility on Edwin, the little ping to kill something hiding behind a taunt, card draw. Another nice thing about the southsea, if you double cold blood + faceless you get the same amount of damage and still have 2 mana left over for a sap, evicerate, or sometimes you just need to equip a weapon if u used it the turn before clearing the way. Sure, its 1 more combo piece and 4 is tough for most decks, but by turn 10-12 you are usually down to the final 2-3 cards of your deck anyways.

Agreed on the deckhand, I haven't ever had issues finding combo pieces for it. In fact, I think this makes it less combo reliant, as you can adjust the way you win the game even more from 1 Leeroy combo to 1 southsea, southsea+faceless, cold blood faceless conceal, etc. Finding damage is usually not an issue. ...But ultimately it depends on your preference!
You won't believe it, but I wrote that post first thing this morning and actually had 8/8. Then I went back and "fixed it", thinking "man, that would have been embarrassing if you wrote 8/8". #sigh. Fixed now, thanks.

If you're replacing Thalnos, you'd be replacing him with Shiv or Undercity Huckster. You never replace cards with terrible cards.

Almost every time I play Undercity Huckster it gives me garbage RNG cards from my opponent's class. When I play Kobold Geomancer I get a 2/2 minion - same as Huckster - that reliably gives me Spell Damage +1. One day soon I will open or craft Thalnos and swap out the Geomancer. Until then, I enjoy having it in my deck and it has saved me (combined with Fan of Knives or Blade Flurry) against aggro way more times than Huckster has given me a half-decent card. Your mileage may vary.

I have dust to craft a legendary for Miracle Rogue. Which one is best?

Yep, that's why I did mention that your deck needs enough other card draw engines :)
Thalnos, he is very often the difference between using one card or using 2 cards for removal.
Probably Leeroy for the charge/burst... Got bursted down by a Miracle rogue last night with Leeroy + 2 Cold bloods.. i cried a little
