Just a 5/7 taunt for 6 mana would be really, really strong for most Druid decks....with this C'Thun effect it's an auto-include in any Druid C'Thun deck for sure!
I doubt it's real though considering Druid already got their C'Thun synergy card =/
you doubt what? if hearthpwn publish its real. every new card the same stupid commentary.
it wasn't immediately on the first page, relax people put up fake cards all the time and the first page is people checking it out before the front page uploads it
everyone plays DotC at 5mana 4/6 taunt. this follows up at 6mana 5/7 taunt next turn. then 7mana 5/10 taunt.
^^ This, exactly. This card will upgrade the existing taunt druid deck, even in a non C'thun deck.
p.s. this card is imba, an almost vanilla stats, 2 effect; taunt and battlecry to C'thun, stats given to C'thun is better than others who give +1/+1 and +2/+2, this card is only a common?

Except Hearthpwn is TERRIBLE when it comes to translations and often makes mistakes in the card commentary. There is a reason other sites are wary of anything coming from here at this point the mods are just overly happy to get page views so rush to get content on the front page without fact checking.
Hearthpwn never put a card in the newsfeed that wasn't real. They check everytime. Stop spreading bullshit.

Sometimes (like with this card) we are not sure about the exact name or wording of the card text, but when we publish a card on the frontpage the stats and effect is always confirmed to be real.
If you innervate this out on T4 its pretty stupid good. Similar to coining out an Ancient of War. Either your opponent has an appropriate spell, or they see a 3 for 1 happening. Not to mention the damage is done with that 3/3 buff for a class that ramps into late game... -_-'
Never liked druid, but this card makes for an excellent start.. for me anyhow.
It's not that exciting imo. Basically the Skeram Cultist with weaker stats for an extra +1/+1 on C'thun which I don't think you need. Honestly I think C'thun decks are unlikely to use lategame C'thun buffers. Once you play Beckoner, Twilight Elder and C'thun's Chosen twice your C'thun is already a 16/16.
Also really boring flavour wise as it's so similar to Skeram.
I think you missed the part where it has Taunt. 5/7 taunt for 6 is pretty decent, the battlecry makes it even better.
Well it's still just vanilla stats. You don't play vanilla 6 mana minions, you lose too much tempo. So the question is whether the battlecry is worth it. And I just don't think so. The early game C'thun minions can already buff him up to huge stats, at a time when you can afford to play more vanilla minions. You can't really afford to play vanilla minions in the lategame.
I'm sorry but how exactly do you lose tempo by playing a Taunt minion? That has 7 health on turn 6? I would really like to hear that from you.
Sure, if it was 5/8 with no Taunt it would probably be a bit of a tempo loss.
Taunt doesn't matter that much. Especially in what will hopefully be a control meta. It's just a vanilla minion. If you think this card is constructed worthy then by that logic Boulderfist is constructed worthy. And the battlecry is too slow. In the early game you can afford to play vanilla minions to buff C'thun (and honestly C'thun's Chosen isn't exactly vanilla, it's body is nearly Shredder levels of good.). You can't afford to do that in the lategame. Lategame C'thun cards are redundant because by the time you play this C'thun will already be buffed to game winning stats. It's a shame the cultists won't appear in arena because this guy would be a solid arena pick. The fact that it's in Druid and can be ramped out stops it being total trash. But even then it's still in competition with other 6 drops that you can ramp to. And do you play this over Ancient of War? 1 more mana for 3 more stats.

Hearthpwn never put a card in the newsfeed that wasn't real. They check everytime. Stop spreading bullshit.
There have been countless translation errors this expansion and it took quite a bunch of complaints for them to start adding a "This card may be incorrect" warning to cards.
We're talking about whether the card itself if authentic or fake, not slight error in the name or text translation. The guy said "I doubt it's real", and he is wrong, because when a card is put in the Hearthpwn feed, that means it's real.
So for anyone who doesn't see this already, the devs created a way to keep druid's braindead strat of "play dudes on curve, ramp to unbeatable combo" by giving it the exact same strat with new card arts and names.
Right now druid plays minions, goes face until it gets maybe 5 or 10 damage through and then ramps out a two card combo that does the majority of the opponent's hp in one shot to steal the game. In standard, druid will be doing the same thing, playing c'thun minions up the curve that do nothing other than buff c'thun and force removal in response. They then play ONE card (c'thun) and it will do the same amount of damage and in many cases more than force/savage does in one shot.
The only saved thing is that c'thun does his damage to all targets. If you can set up enough of a board you can absorb the battlecry, then find a way to deal with a 15/15 or 20/20 or whatever bullshit he's at by the time they play him. Yeah see ya there. Can't wait for this to kill the game.
very good 6 cost and 5/7 stats with taut lovely
Midrange C'Thun Druid grows even more stronk!
With this card revealed I guess either Druid of the Claw or Ancient of War or both have been nerfed.
Why are druids getting the C'Thun love? And people said my priest card that boosted C'Thun was an unfair advantage.

There's an achievement for this? :D
Guess this means some classes aren't getting any C'thun synergy cards at all.
awesome card, holy shit, c'thun druids are on the way.
need take time to make new pic and signature using the new cards.
Good, but why Druid have the second of C'Tun card? I though Blizz will gave every class C'Tun synergy card.

Well the current Druid deck archetypes are leaving, I guess C'Thun Druid will be the new one.
