Funny to see salty people complaining about a free arena... Go back to play casual if you can't deal with the glory of the arena - the mighty colosseum.
You could always try being constructive. I played a lot of arena early on, even got good at it. I quit because I realize I don't like the format. I only gave it a go because some folks on a forum helped me out when I was frustrated. Or, ya know, you could just be a dick. I Can't make you do either.
Strongly suspect that people complaining about arena are absolutely boring, tryhard, netdecking scrubs. They're unaccustomed to having to utilize situational and card evaluation, and just want to have the strength of a pre-made deck pilot them to victory.
Don't forego the entire skillset of attentive deck construction, and then cry when it bites you in the ass in a format where deck construction and impromptu play evaluation with uncommon cards is actually relevant.
The only disgusting thing about Arena are the people bitching about it.
Just drafted a Mage. Took Malygos early in the draft. Was offered exactly 0 damage spells. Booo!
Well Malygos is pretty bad card in arena on average anyway, so u shouldnt expect much. Even if u drafted a lot of spells: 1) u might never get to combo em with Malygos 2) if u ever did, u would probably have won anyway without it. It rly is just a big expensive body 99% of the time.
Well, at least now I got my 100th Arena win to go with >2k constructed wins....
Even a mediocre run just takes so long. Played 8 games for a couple packs, a bit of gold, and a handful of dust. I like that they're promoting the format; I just happen not to enjoy it much.
LUL, just an update for everyone, the guy who posted this thread, because he's been crying and complaining about literally everything and anything for a long time now, all you have to do is go on his profile and look at all his comments to see how much whining he's been doing.....well I am pleased to say he's finally been perma banned. haha, I call JUSTICE!! :D

I'm assuming you are just salty and not actually expecting to be offered damage spells just because you pick Malygos. In that case, there there.
I always get a handful of damage spells when I draft mage - there are so many options. Just an unlucky draft. I think it is hard to have a good Mage draft without being offered damage spells.
I know Maly is tough to combo with in Arena (or anywhere else in this meta), but I at least wanted some hope!

Arena experts have been complaining about Arena for many weeks now.
Your strong suspicions are both unfounded and incorrect.

Had a bust lately not getting too many wins, probably only averaging 4-5 wins. After the frost festival started, I think I average 8 wins. Thank you Ahune!
Well, it made me try Arena for the first time and it was actually quite fun. :) I also went 12-2, which turned out waaaay better than I was expecting.^^

First time? I HIGHLY doubt that. I guess anyone can lie just to make a point.

G=Good B=Bad Do you see the pattern? Every second expansion is always trash.
Hello guys, just saw this topic and had to reply with my experience in arena in Un'Goro
First everyone who says arena does not need skill does not have enough experience to understand their win condition. Although there is a very big luck factor in the draft, it takes experience to know how to identify the strength of your deck, removal spells, strong minions, a nice curve, burst damage. You cant play the same way with every deck even with the same class.
As an example I had a very weak draft with mage, 3 spells (Geyser, Blizzard, Cabalists tome), but had a good amount of strong minions in mid-game and a nice curve, so I knew I needed to take control of the board until Mid-game and cause damage to the opponent to not prolong the game much. I got 9 wins on the deck using only my ability to take control of the board quickly and cause as much damage as possible. RNG did save one time with a firelands from tome, but only after i got him to seven health with my minions. What I mean is I could hardly get 9 wins if I had not played aggro mage, but sometimes the best is control mage.
Some class has a well defined game style with hunter or priest, but even in these cases you need to know your strongest point to be able to abuse it.
But last i agree that right now isnt the best arena meta, mage, palladin and rogue are just so powerful and the RNG is just insane( Babling Book, Shimmenring Tempest, Glyph, Stonehill defender in palladin) so i can understand if your first experience( at least for sometime ) wasn't exactly good.

Why do you doubt it? Honestly doesn't this just prove the point you were trying to make? Some arena newbie got in, got SUPER LUCKY and drafted a sick deck and went 12-2 his first time? To argue against this is to say that there is more skill involved that your previous statement would suggest. That being said, I am also dubious.

I'd consider it forced when you cannot delete a quest that wants you to play 3 arena games. And that's despite the reward of a free pack or not.

Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.

Saw several people misplay with a Daring Reporter on board. Brings me way back.
English is not my native language, so, with a high probability, mistakes were made.
