Card is fine. Its the only reason Murloc is remotely competitive. Only gets decent value later in the game. There are far more cancerous cards then angler.
Yep, this sums it up accurately. Without the Murloc cards printed this expansion Murloc decks would be complete garbage as they have been for a very long time.

Murloc Shaman is the only new deck that I haven't lost against yet. That card is strong but other murlocs in standart are not that great. To be honest Murloc Shaman should have been a lot better in Wild.

Quest shaman has actually made a comeback in Wild and is viable, but it is often crushed by the insane AOE and earlygame tempo in the format.
The card is very powerful for a 2 drop. No one would deny that, that plays Hearthstone well enough. A card that generates more cards is really good in almost all card games.
But there are cards that simply beat the deck and this card is the only card that gives it any chance to win.
I mentioned this in another thread, but this Murloc deck is an all-in aggro deck. It either wins or loses by turn 5 or 6. This card can give it some legs late game, but honestly, by then it's probably too late against some classes.
Yeah, it sucks to get high-rolled and this card can enable that with its 3 health on turn 2. Because it means they will have something to play and keep refilling the board until they draw Bloodlust.
It's doesn't win games on its own though and some classes don't care how many murlocs you have in your hand. They are murlocs afterall.
I played Murloc Shaman in wild against Big Priest. Between quest, Neptulon and two of these, I had a full board almost every turn despite getting Psychic Scream'd twice, that three damage AOE that shuffles in your deck twice, Shadow Word: Horror'd twice and Spirit Lash'd once. He was even resurrecting Obsidian Statues and it didn't matter. I say that standard murloc shaman needs this guy as a board refill but wild is already full of crazy refills.
I think the card is fine if it was just worded so that it doesn’t generate itself. Playing against two, annoying but doable, playing against 6 is not okay, cause this who game is “balanced” around having two of any card.
Exactly, i think they should nerf the mana cost to four mana, high mana murlocs with high effects are common, and with scarrgill it's not even a change that matters in the late game.
Thank God you aren't anywhere near the Balance team.

the archetype is being carried by a few op cards so if you don't highroll using those it just looses
Kobolds are almost as bad as goblins, they gotta die (⌐■_■)–︻╦╤─
You see you're against Shaman, you mulligan for removal and save it for this guy. It's just that simple.
If your deck doesn't have a way to remove it, there aren't a lot of other decks you can beat either.

Isn't it the opposite. The higher the win rate of the deck, the more people add in counters?
Agreed underbelly angler is the most broken card in the new expansion
Playing Rogue this season. I really don't see the issue with it. Murloc Shaman feels like a cake walk
Stop Making Sense. lol.
