So back at the first few seasons of hearthstone release, zoo lock were everything that were viable, because it was so retard-proof, that you literally just had to drop whatever you could from your hand to win a game of hearthstone, because the other decks were terrible. Zoo lock has always been a retard-proof deck.
My point: Zoo lock is now the most skill-required deck atm BY FAR in hearthstone.
1. Zoolock where never the easiest deck out there. You had to control the board from the beginning until you kill your opponent, and therefore you need to know exactly when you should go face. Moreover, zoolock is the deck that rely the most on correct positioning, I don't think it's the hardest deck out there, but it's not the easiest deck for sure.
2. Nowadays, zoolock isn't hard to play, it's just weak. When pirate decks have better early game than zoo, and any other deck have too strong AOEs - zoolock can't hold.

You consider murloc charge deck easier? Well I kinda agree with you. Topdecking like this meta was gg every game.
Zoolock is way more complicated than lets say jade druid, dragon priest, pirate warrior and whatever shaman. What else is the meta like?
Zoolock was always a deck that was easy to play, but hard to master. It's still sad that it has become a more skillful deck then most of the current meta decks out there.
There are unbeliaveably many people comparing this meta to old undertaker/murloc/zoo metas.
I'd rather have those metas back a thousand times more than the current. Even the undertaker meta didn't kill you in turn 5. Also, undertaker was the only card you had to deal with, which was easy if you didn't play mirror.
All these new turn 1 buffed cards and RNG cards to win hearthstone games are so lame.
Isn't this just another case of someone claiming a slightly off-meta deck that they so happen to play requires skill?
I'm sorry all decks require skill to play properly and climb ladder efficiently yes even pirate warrior. Yes some decks are inherently more efficient that others and therefore slightly easier to play. Doesn't mean they don't need skill to play properly and efficiently. Plenty of people get stuck at rank 20 with pirate warrior or jade shaman or whatever (had plenty of theads on here of people asking for help on such matters). There are others use the deck correctly to get to legend in a week.
Zoolock might have been foolproof in classic and Wotg, however there was a point where zoo really did require skill and that place kind of still extists, and that is Naxx, During Naxx or in Wild if you screw the positioning of your deathrattle minions you are pretty much throwing the game,

So stop trying to make out your special snowflake of a deck, that you happen to play is somehow the most skillful one out there.
Oh daddy. Big poster coming right here claiming I'm the bad boy. I don't even play this game often, when I do I play meme decks. This game is destroyed. Skill or no skill doesn't matter at all. The fact is that in this meta, you DO NOT have different plays, there are always only one play.
You the guy that hits 3 on all lightning storm hits when your opponent have alot of 3 health minions on board?

What the fuck is happening with this game xD

If you think Zoolock is the most challenging deck to play in the meta right now, you're no smarter than the people who play it.
well i guess Control Shaman with N'Zoth shenanigans requires some skillcap to play with
but this is your opinion.
meta is like renolock, whatever rogue too.
i say these decks require more skill too.
Legend x1: 27th season - N'Zoth Rogue only.
Sure, you can win every matchup without reno, but obviously he helps a lot.
Zoolock isnt much about skill anymore. Not with the new RNG discard mechanic. Just another flip a coin deck.

Also Strong decks doesn't always = unskillful. Weak decks don't always = skillful.
Aggro doesn't necessarily mean unskillful.
Control doesn't necessarily mean skillful

Try Dragon Priest, even blind monkeys can win with that decl
40+ Trades in Challenge a Friend! quest.
HS =RNG feast. Apply to all the dexk
aggro= perfect curve
mid range control - discover RNG, draw order, who have greedy list etc.
skill only 10%
TIL spamming your boards with minions and praying for no aoe = Skill.
Zoo is retarded, just because they can trade more than pirates doesn't mean they are not both mindless cancer decks.
