What are your initial impressions of Hunter in Standard?
Aggro is losing position to Shamam, but midrange is doing very well. The fact there is not a flashy hunter deck around makes this call kind of rare to see being played, but very soon he will come back.

Beast Hunter doesn't look competitive, but I'm having fun!

Its still too soon for me to really decide how I feel about hunter this xpac... Its my favorite class in general however as far as its competitive nature goes.......gimme a couple weeks.

None yet.
What are some must craft Hunter cards?
I'm with the previous poster on this one. Call of the Wild, such an awesome card! I opened well over 100 packs and didn't get a single one so I had to craft two of them. I also crafted Princess Huhuran.
I was let down by a couple of the other hunter cards. I love the creativity some of the other classes cards were given, and it just makes some of the hunters seem stale.

- aggro gets outrace by every other aggro deck, face deck seems to be lot more easier to deal with but i definitely like midrange and control
Call of the Wild is a definite strength of the class now, but I personally want to show some love to Fiery Bat. Great solid 1-drop for aggro, midrange and deathrattle Hunter decks.
Rexxar seems to have been forgiven for some of his face days. Right now I like playing against hunters a little bit more than before. Death rattle hunter with N'Zoth seems very viable with the addition of Princess Huhuran and N'zoth and Yogg-Saron hunter seems to be pretty fun.
Hunter got a lot of great cards in this expansion. Fiery Bat has been seeing a lot of play and is a strong 1 drop for hunters. Savannah Highmane remains one of the best 6 drops in the game in my opinion and Call of the Wild is absolutely insane, defiantly in the top 5 best cards in the expansion for me. Face hunter is still being played, but much less thankfully.
Although I don't particularly like playing against N'zoth Hunter, I don't find it as bad as face hunter before standard came out.
Overall I think Rexxar is getting his time to shine in the less aggro view.
It's fun, and not half bad to play. You can actually play a tempo game, which is pretty sweet; normal mid-range always felt a bit clunky to me, aggro/face was neither fun nor interesting, and hybrid was a face deck that was kidding itself. The new cards are well-designed: Firebat is a strong one drop, Carrion Grub has great stats, Forlorn Stalker has a cool and unique effect and trades up, Infest is another option for the "value Hunter", Infested Wolf is a mini-Highmane, Huhuran is the best Hunter legendary by stats alone, Call of the Wild is insane. I thought Sandworm would be a little better since it could be a pain to play around, but even a control Hunter is going to go with 2x Call and a Rag (other than a Reno build).
My initial impression of Hunter in Standard is that Hunter is more in its way to becoming a more getting-good class. That does not mean by any means that it's been bad or weak or anything of such like, but rather receiving respectfully designed cards of concrete value that seem to contribute to pulling it off from the constant face/aggro abyss that just makes it having a flashy brief presence awaiting a nerf or constantly Yoloing the way to win.
There aren't many -or rather any- Hunter decks presently that we can rather call lovable or hated to play or play against (other than the current midrangy deathrattly beasty one that is decent to some extent). However, that can only make sense as the meta is shaping out and more creations are reckoned to be settled.
Presently, from my point of view, I find that Infested Wolf and Fiery Bat are the utmost priority must-craft Hunter cards. The value is just exceedingly incredible, the least to say, that it shouldn't be missed out in any current Hunter iteration.
Some other cards (such as Call of the Wild and Princess Huhuran) even though they are relatively strong, cool, and of considerable value, yet, it is highly preferable -and recommended- not to be crafted right away (specially if having limited dust resources). If one hasn't happened to open any them in a pack, It's better to wait to see how tested decks and strategies work out and settle, as any smart and particularly expensive investment should always have a profitable return.

You can't harass members who play Face Hunter, nor are they compelled to make preemptive apologies or justifications for playing it. They don't hack or crack their opponents' game, they simply play existing cards that form a specific deck. If you suck at countering Face Hunter, you should blame the designers, not the community.
I disagree on hunter having his time to shine. Yes they did get very excellent cards but it still didn't do enough to make them any competitive. I also ended up crafting the hunter legendary and call of the wild and they are amazing cards. The nzoth death rattle hunter I have played over 50 ranked games with in standard and just gets crushed because for starters hunters lack really good card draws. Not only that but blizzard developed new hunter cards in the 3 mana slot which is already crowded enough as it is. I tried to make forlorn stalker and infest work but I just ended up using the same old standard 3 mana cards as those just work best. I feel like they need more 2 drops to contest the board early game and some more late game cards. I feel like it will at least take one more expansion for hunters to be in the top tiers again. I am having fun playing nzoth hunter even though I lose a lot of games.
What are your initial impressions of Hunter in Standard?
Hunter seems pretty average.
Are there any Hunter decks that you love to play as?
Created a deathrattle Hunter with Princess Huhuran and N'Zoth, the Corruptor that I tried to had some fun with while climbing (didn't work too well though...)
Are there any Hunter decks you can't stand playing against?
Nope. Don't think there are any OP hunter decks right now. The other classes are getting more love from Blizzard.
What are some must craft Hunter cards?
Princess Huhuran for her cool effect. Hopefully she'll get to shine more in the future.

Have played it a little, Princess Huhuran is strong, the class seems strong, having lost to it a lot with my control decks
Loving it. Hunter is now more solidly midrange and feels better to play. I'm running a N'Zoth deck and having fun while doing decently.
He's no longer as strong as he used to be, but much more balanced and less frustrating to play against. Hunter is in a good place, imo.

Forgive me, friend. I have failed.

Spell hunter is interesting
Yes, I love the Yogg Saron Hunter deck I created. It uses Elek's to fish for Yogg.
Not really. Face can be annoying and still has some feet despite some aggro nerfs.
Call of the wild.
