The debate is not whether they really OP or not, im just so tired to still play against the same crap since BG was released. Every other builds has changed through patches and murlocs are still the same bullcrap. I'm currently on 9k MMR and every single lobby where Murlocs are not rotated out its almost guaranteed the winning tribe will be Murlocs. It's just badly designed. It's about time they address this and do a significant change like move Brann to tavern 6 which i think is the best way to nerf them cause it also makes Lightfang way more relevant and right now Managerie just suck.
Where is Blizzard? Those Shitters win 90% of the Lobbys since PatchDay, but noone has comunicated any intend to change them. And i bet 90% of the Players feel like you-- it kills diversity and you kinda have to join em to win some Lobbys too.
You would think a triple mama bear on turn six thanks to a shifter zerus would win the whole she bang..But no not when you are up against super buffed galactic murlocs! Im not mad, a goldrinn would of helped especially since i had triple bird too! I really like this build when i can pull it off! Damn murglemcgurgles

Sad Story. Sounds like the Murloc Player also was lucky with the Matchups (not facing you when you could bascially wipe his Board with Cleaves)
Thats also a thing that Tilts me, if i see the Murloc "Forcer" getting good Matchups or even playing vs the 1 Dead Guy. And youre on a Pirate Midgame Monster for instance and could delete him.
They need to remove Megasaur and add Scalelord instead.
That's a terrible idea imo. Megasaur provides a bunch of random options for adaptation and that makes it inconsistent for finding Divine Shield. They get it frequently because of Brann. Without Brann it becomes pretty difficult to get Poison and Divine Shied. Shield is the strongest option always and adding Scalelord is going to make Divine Shield Murlocs extremely consistent. With big stats (through Brann) and consistent shields even Poison is going to become irrelevant. Just removing Poison from Megasaur is enough. The poison should only be obtained manually through Toxfin.
Again i can just aggree once more, imo BG sucks at the Moment just because of the Murlocs.
Seen Lobbys with up to 5 Murloc Players..... thats just Bullshit. And even if you get a decent Mech or Pirate build going for instance, theres always the one lucky Guy, who manages to survive long enough. And seeing Hooktusks win with them regularly..... Even the Murloc Hero is now in the higher Tiers just because , you win Lobbys with him at least. At this Point im so salty that i wish Harsh Treatment for the Murlocs. Just make Megasaur a Deathrattle like Nadina, and we can have fair fights in the late game too.
Murlocs work but are far and away the highest risk tribe in the early game. It is generally VERY high risk the turn murlocs go to 5.
They work because other people in the lobby play WAY to greedy, end up being weak because of it, and do too little damage or outright lose to the murloc players in the early game.
People latch onto the murloc highroll success stories too much as well. For every divine shield poisonous bran winner, there were 5 cases where someone tried going murloc and got destroyed before even seeing 5.
Stop being a greedy triple highroll player and get strong early. Murlocs take so much damage in the early and mid game unless they hyper high roll.

I think the game mode you are playing will ALWAYS have one best strategy.
It is why i choose not to play. I think a well written algorithm could play just as well as the best humans. Im not talking fancy AI or anything, just basic programming.

Murlocs just kill the enjoyment of the mode because there is ALWAYS one player in the lobby who gets brann, a board of murlocs and turns into godmode. They're so damn frustrating because they slaughter anything that isn't murlocs themselves.
You managed to get an awesome big demon board, 100/100 wrath weaver and 80/80 floating watcher, you feel like you played really well and.. poison divine murlocs.
You've got pirate exodia going on with a golden hoggarr, you have a 100/100 salty looter and you're going so fast every turn buying 20 pirates and it's crazy fun and then.. poison divine murlocs.
You've assembled the perfect macaw goldrinn beast comp, when your macaw hits you get some crazy +32/+32 stats hitting your whole board and creating impossibly massive beasts and then.. poison divine murlocs.
You have 2 golden bomb, a baron, a kangor's apprentice, millions of bombs are blowing everyone up, it's all hillarious and then.. poison divine murlocs.
You've got a golden kalecgos, buffing your whole board by +10/+10 for every battlecry you play, your dragons have reached galactic stats and then... poison divine murlocs.
See where this is going? Nothing is fun about a tribe that wrecks everything with no counterplay - and no, ghoul is not counterplay, the murlocs still have 50 health and poisonous each.
Murlocs is cancer in bg and standard play lol. Thanks toxfin. There's literally no other way to get toxic which is strongest thing you can have in this game. Add divine shield and you just have first place no matter what youre up against. Even a perfect demon soul juggler build is at a disadvantage because all the hp buffs locs get.

I see many people complaining about murlocs, I'm glad. Maybe they will do something about it.
Idk if removing megasaur would be too extreme but I think something extreme is needed.
Murlocs needs a big nerf, maybe along with a buff, like introducing a new unit to substitute mackerel in murlocs And in managerie builds

Can we talk about the new tier 6 Amalgadon, it is making murlocs stronger and stronger. Top 3 from one game are murlocs, that is just stupid.

Unfortunately poison is too good and easy to come by in BG. Maybe Blizz can come up with some sort of “silence” effect.
