The problem is brann not murlocs. Brann allows you to quickly get BIG murlocs and allows multiplayer shots at divine shield and poison. Building manual divine shield murlocs with poison without brann is slow enough you’re likely dead before it happens.
every lobby with murlocs 5 players or more attempt them and only 1 wins with it, so a murloc build might win every BG but 4 other players with murloc builds lose.
It’s balanced to the point that if you remove brann it’s not a problem.
They need to remove Megasaur and add Scalelord instead.
That's a terrible idea imo. Megasaur provides a bunch of random options for adaptation and that makes it inconsistent for finding Divine Shield. They get it frequently because of Brann. Without Brann it becomes pretty difficult to get Poison and Divine Shied. Shield is the strongest option always and adding Scalelord is going to make Divine Shield Murlocs extremely consistent. With big stats (through Brann) and consistent shields even Poison is going to become irrelevant. Just removing Poison from Megasaur is enough. The poison should only be obtained manually through Toxfin.

+ lightfang to scale things. but i think they should print some more support for managerie. like drakkari enchanter and maybe instead of amalgadon giving us a card that would enable buffs to be aplied to any tribe golden tear 6 minion whose basic version copy battlecries to adjacent minions(think of it as zentimo)

Late game scaling is literally the only thing Murlocs have. If you weaken that (removing Bagurgle, for example) then they are going to be too weak against every other late game scaling comp. And then the Divine Shield won't matter as the Murlocs won't have enough attack to kill those big dragons or any other large minions. It would be better to just remove them from the game altogether. Murlocs are extremely one dimensional. They need their late game scaling. Weakening that will make them pretty much worthless.
They need to remove poisonous, period. It's awful to see that you worked too hard in a comp like pirates just to see the little 1/1 with poisonous and divine shield killing 2 humongous things..it doesn't feel right...doesn't feel BALANCED.
Murlocs? do they exist? All I see is Priest. Like I honestly miss Demon Hunter at this point. every game averages 45 minutes now and they do nothing at all but be annoying.

Btw. I think murlocs shouldn't have poisonus. its so dirty and rly, minions from tier 6 (2/8 spider) is crap bc every murloc in game can have it from tier 4.
It is super toxic comp and litterly, all games with frogs player who run they are in first top 4. Its something talk to us right?
All gold...actually got second place because somehow rafaam had gold bran and i guess got megasaur very last pick and had divine shield toxic taunt on everything. So fucking stupid. Went from my game to not even close in one pick. divine shield so balanced.
I would guess Murlocs win in 70% of battlegrounds right now. There is no reason NOT to force murlocs. I have been in lobbies where three players all have high-roll murloc boards. That shouldn't be possible...

They'll get nerfed or changed at some point. Blizzard has been pretty good about shaking up the battlegrounds meta every month or so.

I think they did a silent adjustment to nerf the murlocs in the pool, Megasaur, coldlight, and felfin are coming up less frequently.

Every BG round I have to play against murlocs. I realy enjoy the game, when murlocs arent available.
