Slowing down quest progression is fine, Would do the meta wonders and give it more breathing room.
Said could be said for Tavish's quest. Change his to "Deal 6 damage with spells" each tier instead of play 2 spells that deal damage each turn would DRASTICALLY slow it down.
Make these two changes and variety in decks will return.
Once other decks come back Paladin gets put back in check and no one has to worry about it.

I've even had to resort to using pirates myself just so I can rank up. It feels gross and dirty doing so but sometimes metas leave you no choice. Pirates at the very least need the nerf. Pronto.

The quest is broken. An Aggro Deck should not have inevitability. Compare the juggernaut to jarraxus dks and the new hero cards. More value more damage more tempo… in an aggro deck

The problem is that the deck has insane early game and infinite value from turn 5-6. You can outheal and outvalue other aggro decks like shadow priest, odd dh or aggro druid but you cant do that against the Juggernaut. The first reward gives them Ancharr consistently and the second reward is a big deal against other board based decks when they already have insane tempo. The deck was already tier 1 before Deadmines but the mini-set gave them their new best 3-drop and a very strong finisher in the form of Mr. Smite.
To be honest, the deck is beatable but there is a good reason why is it so popular in wild. IMO it should be nerfed by making the quest progression slower. I see that OP suggested a 3/3/3 change, but I would like a 4/3/2 version better.
pirate warrior in wild is the most consistent and by far the best deck in the format. Also it’s the most frustrating and unfun deck to play against. It’s a deck that requires zero skill to play, and a deck you often win with even with insane miss plays (lost a lot of games to 1 drop pirate coin quest). It doesn’t even matter if you play a good version of it, many people run crap pirates, some even run cthun it doesn’t change anything. And yeah counter it with freeze shaman to get obliterated by the other no skill no brain deck in odd Hunter… Those two quests have to be banned from wild and nerfed to unplayable at rotation (like 3/3/3 or even 4/4/4 for both quests). A quest deck should never be an aggro/face deck. Even the demon seeds meta was more fun then odd Hunter pirate warrior
i would guess the 3 pirates but its not out of possibility that they would nerf the reward a bit to tone down the damage out put.
If they're gonna do anything, they're gonna change the progression. The juggernaut is kind of fine, but the deck is too strong on the way there.
Battlecry: Kill a pirate, gain taunt and 3/3 ?
They should slow down the progress, just like the first few nerfs they did to the Demon Seed.

Did you pay for the "premium" version, or are you looking at the unfiltered rankings that include bronze and silver winrates?
If it's the latter, then stop using HSreplay.
