The upcoming tournaments are going to be such a clown fiesta. I am already enjoying as i think what it's going to happen.
Specialist format if going to fail so hard man, 90% of the players are going to submit rogue to maximize their chances of winning. The streaming is going to be 8 straight hours of rogue mirrors, decided by who draws the broken cards first and who got the coin. Viewers will leave, casters will hate their job, Reddit will whine about it. The hall of heroes that took place the weekend before is only a warning. I am already festing in the corpse of this new format PepeLaugh.
At least this will force blizzard to kill the format or balance the game right away.
Played a espionage rogue with my control warrior, ended up elysiana twice(baleful banker) drew every card 30 card deck + 10 from elysiana + 10 from elysiana and won! Thankfully I won and didnt waste 45mins and 50 turns doing it. Imagine that.
I really hope they don't kill the format. I think the format has good bones and it only seems bad because of rogue's overpoweredness. If nerfs bring rogue inline with other decks the format will shape up.
Rogue being strong doesn't matter. Something needs to be on top and do better than everything else. If it wasn't rogue, it would be warrior. If not warrior then shaman. If not shaman then warlock.
The problem is that many of the most popular Twitch/Youtube streamers get as many views as they do is because they usually try to play a variety of stuff instead of only try-harding what everyone else is already using. Specialist format takes variety and makes it burn in hell. If you're a viewer and not the player the average person often will like to see a variety of match-ups, not just one class with a gimmicky sideboard mechanic.
The reason why they didn't just keep the best of 5 conquest format with multiple class and add a sideboard for that instead is beyond me. Clearly most people Looove watching the same class over and over again.
They’re just trying something new. Magic has done this forever and it’s worked. The ironic this is Magic is trying a conquest style format this year. It’s all a mess

Well I only play Espionague rogue out of Rogue class, because I consider the other Rogue decks broken and I don't like netdecking. I am 8-2 against Warriors, losing from 1 bomb and 1 Control. The main reason for this is because I added one Togwaggle's scheme to shuffle Infinite Tess' on my deck. I really hope that Blizzard will nerf Rogue, because the main reason I am not playing this archetype that much is because of all the Tempo rogues out there
If even one player predicts an over-representation of rogues, they will bring a control-style Warrior or Shaman. More than one player is likely to make this prediction. A decent number of the players will are also likely going to predict that prediction, and try to tech their secondary and tertiary decks in a way that makes them viable against both control and tempo. Several classes are capable of this.
If specialist becomes the "clown fiesta" of Rogue Mirrors that the OP thinks it'd suck, but I hold this as extremely unlikely.

I think you don't understand that rogues can change 5 cards! They tech Nomi, Togwaggle, Shark, Scheme and Warriors or any control deck doesn't stand a chance vs it.
Then they can have a tertiary deck to counter another decks like token archetypes for example with fan of knives. mossy horror, etc...

I thought the decks could differ with three cards, not 5? Regardless, such is the case with the Warrior classes too. I wouldn't be surprised if every deck in the tournament was just 50% tech cards. I'm actually excited to see what the new format will result in and I'm of course not hoping for single class dominance, but I expect fairly high levels of creativity in the deck builds!

Imagine the Life of those Who watch an "event" like a HS tournament, to begin with.
i really hope they kill the format as well because its just trash give us Last Hero Standing or Strike format
Okay. So this post hit the level of intellect you can expect of a guy using ‘OMEGALUL’ in the title and including ‘PepeLaugh’ in his thread.
Cringe
Who cares you, this is just a thread to whine about specialist and make fun of blizzard.

I stopped reading at OMEGALUL.
Me too. The OP's Threads seem to start that way.
"I had a bowl of Corn Flakes for breakfast. MEGALULZ"
4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔
First player: Bans Rogue.
Your prediction fails... XD
specialist is broken
bring back conquest
What? Specialist doesn't allow bans :d
