OK so I'm starting to play even lock in wild. the standard deck you will in tier lists right now will look like mine, only it will have ragnaros and zihi where as mine has glinda and shadowflame.
ragnaros and zihi are specifically anti control tech and although I have zihi, I don't have ragnaros. (I may try and add zihi back into the list if necessary and ragnaros will be my next craft... and yeah I had it and dusted it when it got HoF'd, LoL at me. ha ha)
The guide I read actually said to add a 2nd doomsayer and shadowflame for a more aggressive meta pocket (so for laddering pretty much if you were wanting to try the deck out)
I thought though as this is my first outing with my molten giants after crafting them, I'd like to do it in style. so here enters glinda. tank loads of damage to face then turn 6 glinda and 6 8/8's turn 7 opponent concedes (maybe zihi would be good here as well for a later play to prevent getting board cleared though?)
anyway heres the deck, please let me know what you think. (and yes, I'm currently building a glinda's meat portal version for wild as well. I love meat/portal decks with glinda, they're my favourite)
PS: should I craft rags next or not? i mean it seems he's in loads of wild decks so probably useful. I do want to start getting some priest epics though as I like priest decks as well and you can do some pretty interesting things with the class.
I'm yet to experiment with Glinda Crowskin in Wild. Had some fun early in Witchwood with the Heal lock throwing down a board full of 0 Mana Happy Ghouls. Like the Hunter SpellStone on steroids.
Having recently re-crafted Molten Giants again (I had a surplus of dust and had Dusted them after the first round of HoF) I might give this a go. Looks good Deck_Fiend!

And Rag is always a worthy Craft mate..
the most common version of the deck runs ragnaros and zihi in the slots where I have glinda and shadowflame. this is mainly for facing control though. (rag+zihi I mean. It might be worth me adding zihi still even though I don't have rag yet)
normally the basic laddering version runs 2 x doomsayer and 1 x shadowflame though. I just thought of throwing glinda in there for the synergy with the molten giant.
I will most likely craft rag then next. although azalina soulthief is looking good for cutlass decks. I have invested a lot into this whole cutlass/tesspionage thing now though. this is a totally different way of running it though. it has no espionage or tess and runs keleseth. I uploaded this deck earlier as well.
I used to think this combo was amazing but after playing evenlock with Glinda in the deck I soon found out it would almost never combo right. When I managed to get Glinda/MoltenGiants at 15 health and have a full board of 8/8s my opponent could still often win by going face. Obviously it is a really good combo in the right situation but that situation is rare.

thanks man. I think I will probably just replace glinda with Zihi is she doesn't work all that well. I have not actually tested the deck out yet.
do you think zihi or a second doomsayer would be best?
EDIT: I out in zihi over glinda.. do you think maybe the lich king would be good in this as well?
What usually happens in the combo is saving 2 ish mana and playing sun fury protector onto the molten giants if their board is threatening enough. Also, zihi is a good card to put in the deck, and obviously rag as well, but zihi is much more versatile and slows them down whereas when you play rag you spend a while turn and if you are behind on the board by more than a bit they can just play aggressive and win.

thanks. I will try the deck with both glinda and zihi in then. I know it will probably be better without glinda, but will be fun at least.
I've been looking for fun things to do in WIld lately, might have to give this a try.
yeah dude, there's a bunch of options for different things to run if glinda isn't working for you. I initially just added glinda because I'm missing ragnaros.
I've been playing the deck without glinda so far, although if I had of had her in my hand last game it would have been glorious (obviously impossible though as I have been playing Zihi instead)
It's really easy to burst your own health enough to get a giant for free, and if you have a shambler as well that pretty much wins you the game. (I must say it's bizarre as you and your opponent are trying to burst down your health. in a way the opponent is only helping you win. it must be the bane of face decks)
I played giant and shambler and they killed the shambler (I still had a full health wrathguard on board as well so needed to protect it as I was at 8 health)
I used a fully charged spellstone to get up to 15 health I think it was, and then put a sunfury protector just on my 8/8 giant to prevent my wrathguard taking hits. I realized afterwards that I had him down to 2 heralth and I could have just used hellfire to win. the opponent conceded anyway though.
I often find myself missing lethal because I tunnel vision into something or I simply don't do the maths and I end up not realizing how much damage I have.
I guess this stuff comes with practice. I can have as much theory as I want, but I need to play more games to avoid missing lethal so often.
I would certainly recommend this deck anyway, it just stepped all over odd pirate rogue which is the number 1 deck in tier one (although even shaman actually is supposed to be the most efficient according to viscous syndicate) in the tier lists on tempo storm though. tier 1 goes odd rogue, reno lock, even lock, reno priest and odd warrior. so you can see theres no shaman in tier one, but according to the stats on vicious synidicate, the best deck to get to legend in wild is even shaman.
only missing aya and a few rares to build the deck as well. I can also use yay in rogue decks so maybe I will craft her after ragnaros. It wopuld be nice to get to play some shaman competitively, it's been a long time for me (evolve shaman in old gods to be precise).
definitely looks interesting. have seen a few mech warlocks recently. be cool if we were to get some class specific mechs as well. (we do have a couple from GvG though right?)
I dusted my Thaurisan when I was a noob, so it sucks I can't use him right now. one of those cards I will just have to craft again as it's such a good card.
hey guys, this is what the deck is looking like now. I find this to be the optimal version for laddering. you will want to tech in both zihi and ragnaors when you start seeing more control and combo decks though.
I wonder why this deck has gained no traction at all yet? I thought maybe because I have not written a guide yet, but then I realize this deck has actually been around for a long time, so maybe it's just because it's not new?
ha ha, it was new to me anyway.
anyway guys, this deck plays more like a tempo deck than what even lock is usually like. it has none of the high end like DK and lich king and instead aims to flood the board with 8/8's and use shadowflame to be able to clear any board state. it is often great if you have 2 moltens on board and then play a defender to taunt them up, then use shadowflame on the defender to clear their saide of the board.
VS. even shaman they cannot devolve your mountain giant neither, so it ruins them.
here is my current version anyway. upvotes appreciated as it could help get the deck noticed. if it gets a few votes on it I will write a decent guide for it. a bit of theory and an intro as well.

4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔

That combo jumped on me when I first saw Glinda!
However, I think renolock is just a better build. More defensive tools, more value and more tech. The moltenspam combon is great,
but having molten+glinda in hand (+taunt giver or heal) being 10 or less health and surviving next turn is pretty hard to pull off...

yeah probably. I might switch glinda out for zihi then or a second doomsayer maybe?
I don't have the cards to build a reno lock yet neither.

last match Vs. Even shaman. I'd probably have lost if it was not for shadowflame.
