So ive been following the Vicious Sindicate snapshots, and recently they have set the deck as tier 3 based on winrate. Meanwhile I see a lot of people claiming razakus and cubelock the best decks, but according to their statistics agressive paladins and tempo rogues appear to be winning far more, not only at low ranks but at legend as well. What do u think?
It’s hit or miss. I almost always beat it if they don’t get the weapon on curve. If you’re running silence and they cheat out a voidlord they’re usually screwed. The key seems to being able to play around defile. It doesn’t seem like a super easy deck to pilot effectively either, which is the same reason why Razakus hasn’t always been T1 on VS.
Isn't Cubelock considered difficult to play? Probably worth considering that as a factor in win rates. Anytime a deck is difficult to play, the deck's overall win rate will differ significantly from its win rate when it's played by a skilled player.
Likewise, the easier a deck is to play, the closer its overall win rate will be to whatever its win rate would be when played by a skilled player.
VS snapshots is based wholly on stats. The stats tell us how good decks are when piloted by an average player. Meanwhile, you see pro players and streamers telling us that different decks are good. This is because these people are playing HS at the highest level of skill. IE, Aggro pally is the highest winrate deck for you if you play like an average guy; Controlock or whatever is the best if you play perfectly
As for tempostorm snapshot ... just say no to that garbage. I stopped following them since they posted "Malygos Druid" was tier S back in KFT

this was a troll they wanted to show how good druid was.. made some people who didn't understood it craft the deck though..
I think the win rate gone down for 3 reasons:
1.people started to tech silence against voidlords and cubes. and/or oozes against skull.
2. people started to know how the deck works and play accordingly.
3. worse players started to jump on the hype train and got the win rate down.
It's too easy for people to tech weapon destruction and silences, once people started to take the deck into account it stopped steam rolling thru' the ranks so as always you're better off playing big Priest etc.

Doesn't matter if it was a joke/troll. The meta snapshots shape what people will play. Tempostorm put fuel to the fire and made even more people play Druid. Pirate Warrior had higher winrates at the time according to VS. TS didn't show how good Druid was. They just displayed how popular it was, and made it worse. Can't take them serious after that. Not because they cannot be forgiven, but because it became completely transparent that they had no data to back up any of their claims. It's all opinion.

Indeed, they had lost a lot of credibility in my book after that, I knew it was a joke, but I felt like they were being unprofessonal
The majority of players are toxic scrubs that can't pilot any non braindead deck decently. That's why they can play only aggro and tempo decks or in best case scenario play raza priest.

I honestly can see this.......it seems more of a 50/50 deck......been playing it alot lately.
I think that when I'm queuing up my aggro pala on ladder and seeing warlock, I want to concede right away.

Tempostorm tells a different story, but they dont really work with numbers... i think its more so their opinion, for what its worth

Deck's true power=/=deck's winrate.
