I know Bilefin is not a standard inclusion (Argent Squire is more typical), but 2 bodies for 2 mana has good synergies with a number of other cards in the deck, and even a 1-health taunt on demand can help slow your opponent just enough to make a difference. It does weaken the deck slightly against Hunter and any Warrior running Ghouls, however.
If you're having trouble getting past 18, then even with the build you have, it's most likely your play that's the main culprit. One reason I don't like Doomguard personally is that it works against your hero power--with him, you want to empty your hand to minimize the pain of his battlecry, whereas what Zoo IMO needs to be doing while it maintains board initiative in the early game is drawing to set up the next wave if you're wiped, and accumulating burst damage in hand to close out the game.
When I see Zoo played badly, usually it's because the player races rather than keeping the opponent's board clear early. But it's a delicate balance because, against a midrange deck, you're going to get out-valued eventually so there are circumstances when you have to switch and go face, letting your opponent take the tempo hit of initiating trades.
That is why i run a single Doomguard, way too often are you stuck with 2 Doomguard in hand and they are basically dead cards as one can(most often they do) discard the other and with Zoo board is often established quickly so 1 Sea Giant has a big relevance and when you control the board or even if you re-establish Gormok the Impaler goes a long way to do that as its 4 free damage anywhere you choose
well if you are bad at zoo you are bad at every card game, dw you can fix it because there's only one thing that zoo has to worry about and it's overextending which is a key part of every card game, when to hold and when to go all in.
Also Zoo is the reason warriors saw a massive raise, zoo can pretty much dominate all of the other seven classes and well, warrior, no matter what version ,counters zoo
Zoo is actually one of the hardest decks to play perfectly, definitely harder then the control decks and current druid lists out there now. Good minion placement for cards like Dire Wolf AlphaDefender of Argus and not overcommitting into board clears. What makes people lose as Zoo most of the time as well is the early turns and not mulligan properly to what they play against. Would suggest watching some high legend streams with someone playing Zoo, also Tempostorm meta snapshot zoo list is often a good one so i would suggest trying that one.
Yeah turned into a pretty standard deck, I personally don't like to play both Doomguard and Leeroy in the same deck but i guess it could work out. Gormok is a good choice aswell if you aren't running him already, not sure how worth it is to craft him at this point if you're low on dust, since he is only used in Zoo and will be rotated out in 2017.
Link to OP's deck looks broken. Rofl8888, your deck looks too heavy on one-drops now - Argent Squire and Possessed Villager essentially do the same thing; and I imagine you're having some issues running out of steam against other decks. Also, with so many Warriors in the meta, I would consider cutting a Forbidden Ritual.
Potential replacements to play with are Ooze, Argent Horserider, Brann (you are running 7 positive battlecries after all), 1x Soulfire and a second Giant. Since Silence and BGH are basically out of the meta, I have also been toying with Void Terror with some success, either as a 1-of or as a direct replacement to IGB.
I like running Doomguard and Leeroy - 2x Doomguard can muck up your hand, but two strong charge minions is very helpful; and they do slightly different things. I personally don't have Leeroy and won't craft since he's a limited legendary; but I run Reckless Rocketeer in his place to solid effect.
The reason that you lose is because your both decks lacks a key card called soul fire! In this meta full of warriors you really need 2 of this to win against them. In my zoo deck i run 2 soulfire + 2 PO + Leeroy + Sea Giant and i dont run argent horserider or doomguard or Dark Iron Dwarf or even Bran! the reason is that these cards are too slow and easy to counter and you will get more benefit from argent squire than them if you play it on turn 1. I also disagree that people are saying to cut one forbiden ritual, even against warrior this card is strong because two ravaging ghouls would not be enough to wipe your board every time and most of the time you win the game before they draw the second one!
The only condition to win against warrior is to get them around 14-16 hp then leeroy po po soulfire. I won against a priest that had 22 hp from an empty board with just that combo!
I've actually been on a decent win streak with zoo in the last while, there's lots of good advice in this thread! And yeah, I agree with you, it's not the brainless deck most salty people claim it is.

Wow, looks like some doctors cured the cancer

I changed the deck:
-2 Flame Juggler -1 Sea Giant
+2 Argent Squire +1 Abusive Sergeant
I still run 1 Doomguard and Leeroy because Leeroy saved me very often.

I don't have Gormok so for me not worth to craft him but instead I run Dark Iron Dwarf

Hey, thanks for all the tips guys! And yeah I realize my original link was broken, this one should work though. Here's my current zoo deck.

The Light Shall Burn You!
Maybe because zoo takes skill to play?
