You don't realize that invoking Galakrond is a tempo loss (5 mana 3/3? Hello?) and quest shaman is all about tempo. You lose before you can even play Galakrond
5 mana 3/3 and 2x 2/1 rush...not a tempo loss, man.
Where do you see the 2x 2/1 rush in this card? The rush tokens come only when you play Galakrond
When you invoke, you trigger Galakrond's hero power (whether you played it already or not). This card invokes twice, hence you get two hero powers = 2x 2/1 rush.
Shaman will be absolutely broken next exp, as they get obviously the most busted class cards like 5-6 Spiritwolves for 5 mana w/o Overload(!) or 4 Mana Flamestrike and (by far) best Invoke cards.of the set.
Shaman is already way OP right now, who in their right minds would be bringing back outrageous cancer cards like Evolve and N'Zoth ?!
well, one week more of these abominations until we can finally enjoy a game called Hearthstone again.
Shudderwock seriously needs to get nerfed though, getting another dose of 2 x 8-8 when playing him after Galakrond allows for an even more absurd Swing that you can not have an answer for.

Invoke triggers Galakrond's hero power, even if you haven't played him. Which is why the Shaman card that invokes twice is so good. Getting two 2/1s with rush and the 3/3 is 7/5 in stats for 5 mana, 4 attack of which can be used immediately.
You think the hero power is bad? Okay then. I disagree. First of all the best thing about Galakrond is that you don't have to play him until you are ready. Just keep playing double invoke cards and getting 2-4 2/1s with rush with the quest reward. Then when you are ready you press your double battlecry hero power then play galakrond and get 4 8/8 rushers. Sure you lose your hero power but it's a move that is a closer if you need it.
I'd be surprised if you play the quest with Invoke.
It may not work out, but I am going to try it. The only thing clunky that I foresee though is that you don't slam Galakrond down the moment you have him. Everything else pretty much works with each other. Invoke is a battle cry on minions and counts towards the quest and is quite good if you have completed your quest. Galakrond spitting out 4 8/8's with rush seems good and Shudderwok spitting out 2 when he is played also seems good.

It's hysterical that as you were posting your childish rant, there was a patch released to remove the Wild cards.
Give the fact that you don't understand the time frame that "one week" refers to, I'm pretty sure your warped and uninformed opinion about the power level of the cards can be completely ignored.
Go watch Zalae's new video, first two games showcased a Galakrond Quest Shaman deck, hilarious 9 mana 4 x 8/8 with rush, it's a shame he didn't get to play Shudderwok. Keep in mind they are friendly games with a newbie.
Indeed, Shaman's quest should be nerfed very quickly or the meta will be soon flooded by this totally unbalanced concept. Just faced 3 Shamans in a row, all of three abusing the quest's Hero Power to invoke Galakrond and then to summon Galakrond (the three used it with the quest and they got 4 8/8 elementals). No other control decks will survive if this continues and Standard will just be another boring shaman fiesta.
Yeah Shaman needs to get squashed. I put my head in my hands as I queued up my Malykrond shenanigans rogue for the second match since the expansion dropped and got some fucknugget playing quest shaman already. Hilariously, I nearly managed to stabilise but he had lackey double wasp to finish me... next turn was Kronx shadowstep shenanigans time :(
I am always hesitant to whine about oppressive decks because usually there is a counter but after playing against Galkrond Quest Shaman and then playing it myself it's pretty clear it's busted.
I would be shocked if they didn't nerf the quest requirements to be harder to complete. But this is Blizzard we're talking about. Even if they do it won't be for ages.
Since this quest has been released I've been speaking to myself: This is the new Crystal Core!!
If nerfs are coming, first they will increase the number of battlecries (like 7 or 8) to fulfill the quest. Then people will realise it won't change anything. Next nerf will be to change the Hero Power to be a Murmuring Elemental (just the first battlecry each turn triggered)

Last night, trying to get from Rank 6 to Rank 5 I faced twelve Quest/Galakrond Shaman, three Pirate Warriors, one Handlock, and two Galakrond Rogues. No other classes represented.

Only play a single card, 0 tempo loss and get full effect from the hero card.
It is time to nerf shaman? Or we have to wait two months of 80% shaman ladder before something be done?
The Elements will Destroy You.

At which rank do you play because I have not seen a single shaman:
hunter mage rogue mage hunter rogue rogue mage hunter....
Fyi quest galkrond shaman can summon 4 8/8 rushes and get a 5/2 weapon at the same time.
#Fairandbalanced
I'm playing at Rank 5. My last ten games were shaman, shaman, shaman, druid, paladin, druid, rogue, shaman, rogue, shaman...

First day of the expansion every decent deck seems OP to scrubs playing their jank stuff.

I'll be honest. About half of my game played seem to be against Quest Galakrond Shaman.
I don't know if it's a problem yet - it's a simple deck to build and very good, so it's over represented by people who want to "just win baby."
If this is still the case in a week and a half, we may have a problem. But I suspect people will figure out how to start exploiting its weaknesses.
