I wouldn't mind it if it weren't for all the day one druid netdecks I'm running into. Literally the only classes I've played against tonight have been druid and hunter.

In WoW, Soul Fragments are spawned by the Demon Hunter passive ability "Shattered Souls" when they kill enemies. The Soul Fragments will scatter on the ground and when the DH approaches them they will be absorbed to heal a small amount of health.
So it's probably safe to assume that these are shuffled into your deck via a spell that damages or kills a minion.
Demon Hunters also have a few other abilities that shatter Lesser Soul Fragments from enemies which work the same but heal for less, and a couple abilities that use nearby Soul Fragments as a resources: Soul Cleave and Spirit Bomb. Spirit Bomb absorbs five nearby Soul Fragments and heals the DH, then erupts around them to damage all nearby enemies. Soul Cleave absorbs all nearby Soul Fragments to deal damage to a single target and heal the DH.
Since this is apparently a dual-class card it's unlikely that it will become a core DH mechanic, but it's certainly something that Blizzard could try and build an archetype around, since in WoW there are a lot of abilities and talents that synergize with them.

Just based on wording (resummon as opposed to summon) I think it would despawn and respawn the Rattlegore as an 8/8.

Finished it. The story was good, but the constant rhyming got a bit grating by the end. Was having flashbacks to farming the Headless Horseman's mount in WoW.
The fights were alright, nothing too exciting or unique though, and most were quite easy. There was a lot of dialogue and interactions for certain cards which helped keep things at least a bit interesting.
In the end, the big drawbacks are that it's not replayable and it offers no truly unique rewards, so it just feels superfluous. There's still the Challenge Mode version of it which will maybe be a bit interesting, but compared to Dungeon Runs I doubt there will be much to it.
Generally I see a lack of progression/rewards as the main problem for all of the game's modes outside of ladder. There's just no incentive to play them. Even Battlegrounds, which is fun to play but basically requires you to either handicap yourself or spend an excessive amount of gold or cash to play properly, and then you get nothing tangible back out of it.

I'm still working through it, but it's told pretty well and the length seems to be pretty decent so far. The challenges thus far haven't blown me away, but they've been clever enough.
The lack of tangible rewards and new cards is the biggest disappointment. It's introducing new characters and some unique cards, but it's a shame the only thing available to earn is a few card packs from the quest and a card back.

Tempo DH is strong but it's not the best deck anymore. Warrior, rogue, and hunter are all giving it a run for its money.

am i a bad person if i rope demonhunter players that manage to loose to a deck that is not demonhunter? lol
Demon Hunter currently only has a 50% WR after the nerfs. Warlock, Rogue, Hunter, and Priest are all outperforming it.

So far I've been playing an OTK DH deck, pretty high win ratio unless I draw really poorly. Also beating all the typical DH decks that are running Antaean and Priestess of Fury.
Of course a lot of the DHs I'm going up against are making really stupid misplays in the early game...

Yeah, the young Illidan and Malfurion illustrations by Alex Horley are really nice callbacks to the cover of the War of the Ancients omnibus illustrated by Glenn Rane. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/X8gdy
I hope they get added as alternate hero portraits at some point, unlikely though it may be. Or at the very least I hope we get to see the full art...

Did you do it when it was new content, or only later when you overleveled it? At the time of release it was arguably one of the most challenging pieces of content in the game, awarding a major cosmetic and feat of strength title that is no longer available.
I think it left a strong impression on people and was in fact probably an impetus for Artifact Weapons, Order Halls, and Mage Tower challenges in Legion.
At the very least he's a solid candidate for a Warlock legendary, considering how few notable named Warlocks there actually are in Warcraft outside of the leaders of the Burning Legion.

I don't think you can argue that this is a nerf. At most the change is neutral. "After" is not strictly worse wording, and is situationally better. The summoned 2/1s are also demons, which gives them tribal synergy.
That said, since a big part of card games is the art, and golden cards specifically exist to put a premium cost on enhanced artwork, I don't think a full dust refund for changed art is an unreasonable request at all. Regardless of whether the card is good or bad, if a player crafts it because they like the art or featured character, it would at least be a nice courtesy for Blizzard to offer the same dust refund in the rare case that it is changed.
Now, does that argument holds any water regarding the game's ToS? Probably not. Even giving full refunds for nerfed cards is probably a courtesy they aren't obligated to do, since I'm sure their ToS specifies you don't own the cards and they can be changed without notice. So I doubt you will have much luck pursuing a refund.

Kanrethad is essentially a superboss that all warlocks have to challenge and defeat solo in order to unlock the green felfire cosmetic for their spells, and is the former leader of the warlock class order. He has amplified versions of all the warlock player abilities, simultaneously using abilities from all three specializations (affliction, destruction, demonology).
He is one of the most powerful warlocks in the lore. Frankly this card doesn't even do him justice.

It seems okay. Honestly reminds me a bit of Bloodmage Thalnos. Something you can use to add a couple extra damage to AoE to help clear a board you perhaps normally couldn't otherwise. More expensive so less flexible, but it synergizes well with actual Outcast cards which are quite powerful and often can be discounted. Also loses the card cycle, but you get a minion that can potentially trade better.
I'm not terribly impressed, but it's a one-of anyway. Might be situationally better than other 3 drops.
