Okay, played all day, and made the final changes, added in all the tech cards so people can take out what they don't like. Thanks everyone for their suggestions, I will probably stick to this list, hopefully reaching Legend for the first time =)
This is the version I had most success with. Other version felt way too greedy for me, and I lost most games against any type of Aggro, and sometimes Control match-ups as well (luckiest Elysianna wins). Now my winrate is in the high 60% (rank 10-5).
The early game consists of low costed value-giving minions and cheap removal. If the games go longer there is a lot more value to be gained to grind out those. Tech options can be added depending on your meta, mine was mostly Rogue and Hunter so no need for the likes of Big Game Hunter or Unseen Saboteur.
Is actually anybody successfuly laddering in the rank 1-5 bracket? I am having huge issues tweaking my decks to counter at the same time mage, rogue and warrior. This is my current deck.
Does anyone have some useful advice? The new card here is Roten Appelbaum. It may seem weird but the extra healing and taunt have actually saved me so many times vs aggro
I have to say I have tried Gaara's deck with spirit of the frog and it was an utter disaster so I'm not going in that direction because I don't know how to use it effectively.

This is just a theorycraft, but this version should be able to check the decks in your meta I think:
Early game removal and cheap value minions (Ooze, Menacing Nimbus, Sludge Slurper) should help with aggressive decks like Rogue, Hunter, Zoo and Murloc Shaman. There is also enough heal to recover once you stabilize. To cover Mages you have double BGH, Hex and Hagatha's Scheme. The deck also has enough value to outlast Control Warrior (with Hagatha + Elysianna + Shudder), Unseen Saboteur wrecks Mecha'thun versions. Bomb Warrior should be manageable as well (try to get Witch's Brew + Krag'wa, the Frog).

I hear you, I am sitting at rank 3 and my games are 40% against Rogues, 40% against Mages and 20% against Warrior. Just today I switched to the Thunderhead version everyone kept suggesting, and it's really a lot stronger vs Rogue. I don't like Spirit of the Frog either, so my version is a bit of a hybrid that runs Far Sight instead. I run double BGH for Mage but no Unseen Saboteur. With all the cheap spells in the Thunderhead build, Krag'Wa is actually very good to refill the hand when you went off the previous turn. The value Shaman gets late-game is higher than Boom, so Warrior should not always be a problem, but a lucky Elysianna or Omega Assembly can be frustrating. I won my last 3 games vs Warrior though, and tied the one before that due to the turn limit. Overall I think Control Shaman is decent against everything, but not spectaculair against anything either. I like the deck because I've been playing Shaman since the new expansion came out, trying to get Legend for the first time. If I had the dust I might try other decks but alas.
I really like Violet Spellsword in my Shaman decks. It has great value because of the number of spells used for control Shaman. Typically she will be at least a 3-4/6 and I even get 5-6/6. Great value for 4 Mana and Shudderwock benefits from it too.

I've actually seen people run Electrowright and Sunreaver Warmage as well, but I don't think there is room for those type of cards in the deck.

Honestly man. How do you do that? I got to the point that when I face control warrior I auto concede instead of wasting 30 minutes of my life trying to win. You say Hagatha has higher value than Boom? I really don't think so unless he runs out of removals and you can fill the board. Boom has amazing hero powers and RUSH minions. It is unstoppabl at late game. And the amount of armour? Insane. There is nothing in the shaman arsenal that can pierce that. So tell me please how you do that. I have tried all possible strategies.
I just hope that with the Elysiana nerf the match can be a little fairer now.
i did beat warriors in that long mates but Archivist RNG decided a lot of games. I droped her for too long matches but that also means i will loose some games due to the armor wall.
i don´t play shaman in wild XD ... I played a mage deck for fun that destroyed big priests and was good against other lower decks. Well it had 6 cards that polymorphed minions .... And my mill druid also wins.
Really? I mostly encounter Murlocs. Due to the nerfs I took out the Oozes and replaced them with a second Earth Shock and Lightning Storm. I faced a lot of Aggro today, probably to counter the Mages and such.
Given the nerfs, I expect the meta to be shaped around Hunter / Mage not having Rogue to counter them anymore, and aggressive decks like Murloc Shaman, Token Druid and such to counter those. Which changes how we wanna build our Control Shaman a lot.
Considering also the upcoming buff of Thunderhead, and how good it is against all those decks, I think going back to my first iteration of the deck is the way to go. A Thunderhead/overload package, probably alongside Spirit of the Frog. It will probably make sense to run at least one Lightning Storm too now, maybe two if token decks thrive.
Still wondering though if you want a 2nd 0-cost spell in addition to Zaap!, and if so, Ancestral Healing ? Was also thinking about maybe Mutate, so you can Mutate your frog once you're done drawing with it, and it's also very good with Gigglings, but Gigglings are a lot worse without Rogue in the meta..
I like running Thunderhead combined with 8 overload cards; two copies of Zap, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Storm and Sludge Slurper. I also like Earth Shock because Magnetic is a thing. Menacing Nimbus is also a good early board contester, and value generator. I'd say that this early game should suffice to handle the Aggro decks. Running double BGH combined with Hagatha's Scheme , Hex and the early removal spells meansMage should also be fine to handle. They lack hard removal so Thunderhead can be difficult for them to remove. They generate a lot of random spells though, and RNG is hard to play around.
For draw I used Spirit of the Frog at first, but I changed it to Far Sight eventually due to it being more versatille. There are a lot of low cost spells in the deck, but there is also the potential to high roll. Thalnos also fitted for me, giving a spell power boost and draw. I like running Krag'Wa with the cheap spells as well, because it can act as a semi-draw. Getting multiple Witch's Brew back is usually how I win vs Bomb Warrior. With value generators like Sludge Sluper, Menacing Nimbus and Hagatha the Hero you have another way of semi-draw. You don't draw a whole lot with the deck so I don't know if Elysianna is needed anymore. Shudderwock is a massive resource generator in the late-game and you don't get to fatigue that often.

They are great vs mages too actually to slow down their giants. I still run two copies

I think double Bog Slosher is way too greedy, and Krag'wa, the Frog as well imo but it helps vs Warriors I guess. Maybe Hecklebot for their Elysianna or Mecha'thun etc?

same here i tried spellswords a bit but room is very tight. Would need to rework the deck if i want to go the elecrowight/spellsword/warmage route.

Btw let's start thinking about strats how to counter big priest. I'm afraid that running two hex is not going to be enough.

Yes but with the rogue nerf big priest is going to be a thing in standard too. You already see them. I lost to one today
one never has enough oozes and doomsayers these days man
Nice buff to Thunderhead!
Also with the recent nerfs, I face a Shaman like every 4 games, guess we're not the hipsters anymore lol
