So I've been playing Rogue since Hearthstone Started and as of now I'am so confused about what Rogue is suppose to do. I'am rank 3 and played over 7000 games with Rogue alone. As of now even though tempo rogue is good (most of tempo rogue are neutral cards) , I' am legit confused on Rogue's design as a class. Like what are they suppose to do besides "combo" which every deck can do anyway.
For example, Hunter have card that auto pilot because you have a beast down which is most of their cards. Mages have a hand full of secret support and freeze.
Not only that whats up with the hero power? Other classes have support for their hero power. Can someone explain this to me?
Most of the Rogue games right now look like this Turn 1 do nothing, turn 2 play Prince into Shadowstep into Prince into shadowstep. After that play coin and play Southsea Deckhand trade patches if opponent has something on the board if not go face. If you don't have all these 4 cards concede untill you get them. Easiest way to climb with Rogue.

Don't need to learn to climb with rogue. I know it can be done. I'am trying to figure out what Rogues are suppose to do originally.
Re hero power support: Rogue has more direct support for its hero power than most classes (cf all weapon buffs), plus it is easily one of the strongest hero powers to begin with.
Otherwise, "what is a class supposed to do?" is one of the most annoying things to hear. A deck is "supposed to do" something, a class gives you a set of tools to work something out with. I am sure with 7000 games under your belt you have given a wide range of rogue decks a go... right?
Anyway, you asked for support cards. There are some. Merely not good ones. But the secret support for Mage also took several expansions to form a viable deck. Not that I believe that hero power rogue will ever be a thing though...

I've tried Miracle, Oil, Tempo, and Jade and it seems to me that Miracle and Oil are the only decks that seems to follow what rogue was designed to do. I'am wondering if their is a new design for what the rogue is suppose to do because of the lack of support for its core themes.
I'd go for Tempo swings as class identity (Miracle mostly falls in this category as well).
Many classes can play on Tempo, but Rogue excels at Tempo swings.
As for Hero power support, other classes hardly get it as well. Rogue HP is really bad in late turns. You invest your face, unlike mage, but you can do it for two turns at the same cost, which is huge for trades in early turns.

What do you think the class was designed to do? From my experience with rogue it seemed that tempo was also a major theme in the class with cards like backstab, counterfit coin, edwin, SI7, and all of the other high tempo cards. That would mean that any rogue deck based on tempo also conforms to rogue's core themes.

Well Tempo Rogue isn't really unique to Rogue. I mean if it didn't have Kal and Bonemare could u use it? I mean in Miracle you can no use it without Edwin, coin etc. I think you can make a tempo rogue deck without any rogue cards and it would work.
I read somewhere that Blizzards design idea is that rogue should be good at single target removal. Which makes sense when you look at the basic cards.
Right now i Don 't know if there is a rogue archtype that supports this Idea and i kinda feel like rogue needs a soft reset of sorts so you can play things other than miracle and still feel like you are playing a rogue deck. The tempo pirate/element rogue does not feel like a rogue deck to me at all.
Maybe rogue needs a bit more class identity besides miracle
Thank you for getting it. This is a good explanation.

If tempo rogue would work so well without rogue cards then why don't all of the other classes have top tier tempo decks using the same cards? Over half the tempo rogue deck is rogue only cards, or cards that work better with rogue because of their hero power.

The 1st step towards a better game is firing Mike Donais! We had enough of his "skillful" balances!

Bitch i'm Willy Wonka!
There are a lot of support cards for Rogues hero power. Just that they are bad in constructed.
Are you saying you have played over 7000 games of Rogue, but you don't know how to play the current Rogue deck options?
This guys a Troll. Waste of a new Thread.

Read the first post dude. I said "DESIGN".
Play for tempo?
Be rascals, mess with your opponent players cards, and frustrate them into conceding.
