To nerf odd paladin they need a card with the fallowing battlecry:Give your opponent a brain. Deathrattle:Teach them how it works and why they should begin using it.(I am not playing hs daily,but i played odd pally on a friend's account 2 3 times and is a mindless deck till rank 10 or even 5)
I was thinking that they simply need to change the hero power. Maybe something like "Summons one Silver Hand Recruit with Divine Shield, or +1/+0" or something.
No, that will nerf Justicar and they already said that they will avoid doing that.
Good point, this would be really unfair to the great amount of Paladin players running Justicar in wild.
Today in my free brawl pack I got Barongeddon, then I had a cup of fresh green tea. As a result of that, I think Priest is OP because my keyboard is not a mechanical one. I hope Blizzard will address this issue.
And if you look at HSR Meta with Legend only data, Even Paladin overtakes Odd Paladin as the deck with the highest win rate. And guess what ... they have NO cards in common!!!

For example playing as druid with 2x swipe and 2x plague already gives u a decent >50% chance against odd pala. Want more? Tech-in 1-2 starfall and something for spell damage like bloodmage nd you will go with like 75-85% wr against odd pala
The art of ranking on ladder is looking for what you face the most and tech-in specific counters., this way you can rank almost with anything as your chances in the -current- meta will be always > 50%
The right card for nerf was Level Up! except they just removed it from Odd Pala rather than making 7 Mana and still useable i am not sure about this tbh.
Excellent timing on the nerf, I've been saving my dust to complete my Even Paladin deck (only needing Kangor). The 6-mana Level Up! should slide in quite nicely....mwahaha

Does it? I haven't gotten into even paladin much (I should. it's up my alley), but they tend to have a lot of different minions out and not a TON of 1/1s. Level up doesn't work on regular minions. There's no lost in the jungle or vinecleaver.
So how do you get enough dudes out there to make a 6 mana spell worth it for a deck that MUST keep up the pressure every turn?
I don't see the card working for even paladin. I don't think they need it and they'll be worse off if they try to incorporate it.

you used to use Drygulch Jailorback when CTA was 4 mana, i was playing that deck before cta nerfs because i somehow opened it as a whole and didnt have to craft anything
Odd paladin is not even the strongest aggro/tempo deck in standard right now.
IMO odd rogue, even shaman and zoo has much better matchups in the current meta.
So I dont see any reason to nerf it.
Also, with the rotation it will be dead without Level up, while the 3 decks I have mentioned will be most likely viable in the next HS year because they wont lose any key cards.
Fungalmancer needs a massive nerf still. With even Shaman, corpsetaker and flametongue are the big culprits there. Thug needs to cost more mana for every rogue deck that uses it, but also to remove it from odd rogue. Rogue will just use flappy which is long overdue for a nerf as well.

More importantly, that means they're nerfing both Baku and Justicar, which is a whole lot of dust to give away.

I just crafted Odd Pally pretty much from scratch (for the expensive cards at least) so that's a bit of a bummer!

unless they want to be the best they can be.
