Season 21 Update: I added Brann Bronzebeard to this deck, he make the deck even stronger, so far I'm 6 for 6 wins with him.

I thought I'd share this deck I just made since I'm doing very well with it and my opponent has no idea what I'm doing since there really isn't a control/dragon hunter. :D Deck list link I'm also posting this because I'd like you guys to make suggestions on how to make this deck better! So feel free to comment and try this deck out and if you enjoy it give this deck a thumbs up! :D. :)

I made this deck specifically against secret paladin with a twist. Dragons and so far it has been very strong. 13 wins and 2 Loses. I also made this because I believe secret paladin is going to be strong when grim patron deck is gone.

Without playing would it be better to sub Kezan Mystic out for something else considering you already have 2 Flares? Or one Flare, One Kezan and something else? I may have most of these cards so Ill give it a go later tonight cos of right now I have given up on regular Hunter. Switched toa Mage deck I built myself and got a nice little 6 win streak straight away and with Hunter I was struggling like anything. Quite like Hunters Mark but may try a weapon in the deck too to remove early minions since yours come in strong more mid to late. But, looks cool though!

I took out Kezan Mystic and am using [card]Drakonid Crusher[/card] at the moment, and it seems to do well right now.

I could see 1 weapon, Eaglehorn Bow working too, but sometime the traps work at the start or even quick shot works for early control. But I did notice as well I don't have any 1 cost cards, but so far that has not been a problem.

at what rank are you playing?

Im at level 15 because of a dragon priest deck i built off a Sigmarsb template. I tweaked that deck and got too level 13 on the ladder. I'm new to this. I'm gonna build your deck and tweak the faeire dragons for a sub. Gonna throw in a chillmaw too. I absolutely suck with hunter so i hope this works. Dragons arre my favorite cards although they don't do well in many classes.

Hunter in general Im struggling with but this is completely different. Forgot to ask, how are you playing. Hitting them in the face and letting the taunt guys absorb their hits or trading most the time to control the board?

Thank you for your respond Plazer, my brother in law is playing this deck to and he said the few times he has died it was because he could not clear the board. (paladins with merloc or Justicar in pally)

We are both in the rank 8 range (we were also both started at rank 13 today) So we are climbing that is for sure! It is so funny to  see peoples reactions once we play "dragon cards" and they have idea what secrets are playing so they "misplay all the time."

Give it a try Primalcarn! Even if you lose I know you'll get some fun wins and I love dragons too!

Nice. Good work man, love to see people get creative rather than just copying top rated deck. Cant wait to try it. From memory I think I only have one Twilight Guardian and no Ysera so will dig around to see what other replacements can be subbed in.

Thanks, I actually really enjoy trying be creative. It's fun to have an idea and build a deck around it. And also fun trying your best to make 30 cards work together. I really suggest everyone do it.

If you think you are going to play dragon decks you should consider getting a second Twilight Guardian though. Its makes my dragon, Priest and warrior work so l too. Ysera is an amazing card too. :) But the are tons of nice dragons, Nefarian might work instead of her? Have fun!

I am running one similar right now and it is very powerful, i actually just ran through a control warrior who justicared up, had 2 shield blocks, 2 shield maidens and alexstrazed himself, still ended up getting him with blackwing damage+hero power.

Mine personally runs fewer traps, 1 eagle horn, 2x arcane shot, 1x hunters mark and 2x lock and load, which really, really helps getting the board effects of the low mana cards while refilling my hand with whatever i can.. Lock and load can even bring your opponent to lethal if you got a spell+lock and load on turn 10, as you can chain the spells you get from it into further spells for a chance of a damage now card like quick shot, arcane shot or even rhino. 

Also unleash the hounds+volcanic drake is an undeniably sick combo with a fairly decent chance to get a free 6-4 minion.

Thanks for the post Jake, it sounds interesting. I'm on vacation so might try it later. (Blizzcon) I've I've thought about taking out 1 secret too. Because by the time the 4th goes off they know What it is.

I've been trying to make dragon hunter a thing as well like some of your ideas. My deck uses some different cards and might utilize some of your ideas. I don't have Chilimaw so run explosive. Mine has a bit more controls aspects and find I sometimes only have removal and not enough board presence.  Yours gives a few ideas to help.  Ty for posting :)

From what I've seen you can add and take out cards and it still works well!

Are the Faerie Dragons really useful here? I've always found they die much too easily with just 2 health, and the ping immunity is pretty irrelevant. I'd rather have my opponent waste early tempo by pinging, thanks.

With so many high-mana minions, I'd imagine King's Elekk would be a much better choice.

Also, aside from Flare against Secret Pally, what's really the advantage of hunter over, say, Warrior when it comes to dragon decks?

I think it might be a matter of preference, the few games I've lost is because I don't have a dragon in my hand to use my combo cards.

I personally like them for tempo, they combo with other dragon cards. and they usually traded out with other minions well since they can not be targeted. I guess if you do take them out I'd put in other 2 cost minions, because I don't have many. So King's Elekk does sounds like a great pic! I think that is the best part of deck build is realizing when its time to trade a card out and put something else in.

I guess it just depend what classes you see a lot of on ladder really. I see enough mages, hunters and pally's that I like the card and if I don't see those classes I'm getting card draw out of it. And I love it when Chromaggus gives me two cards. Its a tec card so can be replaced. When I made this deck last month secret pally was all over the ladder and the "cool deck to play." Tempo mages too.

Just wondering if you tried a few games with it, if not give it a try. :)

Very glad to see someone trying something new, does anybody make a video for this deck? I really want to see this in action, but i can't craft it myself because i only play shaman so i dust all others classes cards (i play Shaman Dragon although: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/318326-benjamins-loe-trogg-dragon-shaman )

What are your good and bad matchup with this deck? Do you think Steamwheedle Sniper can help in board control, instead Faerie Dragon (i think you can cut them and still have enough dragon for trigger synergies)?
