I am fairly new to the game (and to this forum) so bare with me. I know this deck can be improved but not quite sure how with the current cards I have. I mainly try to get into a scenario where I am buffing a low cost minion w/ Dire Frenzy and then using those cheap mana/stronger buffed cards to go face.
wandering monster is good vs aggro, explosive trap is good if you see a lot of odd paladin, venomstrike trap and freezeing trap are good almost always.
I have always wondered about the Black Night. SOmetime it gets me out of a TON of trouble but other times it is wasted mana ot just sits in my hand. I would have to craft Wandering Monster so is there another suggestion to replace? I will definitely add in the Stonetusk as that makes a ton of sense - TY!
Black knight is more of a control card. I think crafting a neutral silence card would have the same effect. There is the 2/1 owl that has beast synergy with your deck for 3 mana. Or the 4 mana 4/3 silence that has a bigger board presence. Both of these cards are 40 dust to craft but you should drop them in classic packs over time!
Unfortunately the other good secrets cost more dust in my opinion. You could go for the secret that deals 4 damage to your targets next played minion - I think that's a neutral - it would be good if you have good game sense and timing when playing it!
This is not the best time to play beast hunter. The biggest challenge for beast hunter in standard mode is that the minions cant stall on board.
Last year we had Kindly Grandmother , Infested Wolf which can spawn another minion(s) after a board clear, allowing hunter to stall the board and then come back with support from Crackling Razormaw and Houndmaster next turn.
Since most of those cards are now in wild mode, the current standard beast hunter has nothing to keep board pressing after a board clear.

Good insight thank you. I was thinking about that Dragonhawk Dire combo. I still have so much learning to do! Was also looking at some deathrattle hunter decks which look unreal but I don't have all of the cards needed yet so will have to be creative I guess...

Add more support to the spellstone (minimum 6 secrets) or remove it.

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
The first improvement is to decide more precisely which way to go, and get rid of most of the singletons you have in the deck.
Singletons are only good in Reno decks, elsewhere they just dilute the consistency of your strategy.
So, choose what to remove entirely, and what to play double.

Tundra Rhino is kinda replacement for Houndmaster Shaw
You need Tracking for card draw.
Bearshark is a really nice beast hard to remove.
as others said add more secrets or remove spellstone

Wandering Monster's a good choice for extra secrets, Freezing Trap can be good too

add reno to your deck, makes it a lot better since you have so many 1copies
You have ( Cave Hydra / Animal Companion / Savannah Highmane ) as good Dire Frenzy targets, I would add Vicious Scalehide as a Dire Frenzy target (try one copy), it is good vs aggro.
I would cut bad beasts like (timber wolf / jeweled macaw / gastropod) and add (Dire Mole / Bearshark ) and a second copy of ( Crackling Razormaw / Flanking Strike ).
You dont need cobalt scalebane if you have a second Savannah Highmane.
You need to decide if you want this to be an aggressive deck or control.
The black knight doesn't make much sense - a silence would be more applicable (lower mana cost.)
I appreciate you're on a budget - I agree with other posters that you need one or two more secrets, perhaps I can suggest you add
x1 Secret Plan
x1 Wandering Monster
I would remove [card]Cave Hydra[/card] it's really slow to play it!
If you're running x2 Dire Frenzy I would add in Stonetusk Boar

I have seen Dire Frenzy combined with Young Dragonhawk and Tundra Rhino. But that is some kind of OTK deck, not an aggro beast deck.
