Wtf garbage and meh feeling? Then you never opened The Beast or Fjola Lightbane. I have Cenarius and it's an awesome card, just a bit to slow for the meta. It will find it's spot in a couple of ramp druid decks. Don't dust it.
Since you don't have Dr. Boom, I think you don't have that many legendaries. Cenarius is not top tier, but also not garbage, it is used in some midrange/combo druid decks.
I am running Cenarius in the rare occasions I play Druid these days. It is a good card, I´d keep it. While not as strong as Dr Boom, obviously, I think it is woth keeping it and grinding the remaining 400 dust. It doesn´t take soo long.
Cenarius is like booms cousin. I play both. Boom gets you 3 bodies, a 7/7 and 2 1/1 with some fun rng when they explode for 7. Cenarius is a little bit more at 9 but you get 3 bodies, a 5/8 and 2 2/2 taunts. Savage Roar yields the same 15 power for both cards. So, why not play 2 boom type cards? People may make a big fuss because dr 7 only cost 7 compared to 9 for cenarius, and sure dr 7 is all around better, but why not have a second option that is almost as good. Provides another card that can combo with savage roar.

Right and the second choice is the savage-roar option (+2/2) which might come in handy as well.

Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
Are u kidding me? Do you know how much value you lose when you dust a legendary!? They cost 1600 to craft, and you only get 400 dust from them. You should only dust crap legendaries if even them. I still have my skeleton knight. Cenarius is a powerful druid legendary that has made many top druid decks over the years.
See what Dr. Boom does? Pushes players to dust things they normally wouldn't cause they want to remove that major handicap as soon as possible.

Glad to see someone else who shares my dusting philosophy/habits.
Keep it, everyone's been mentioning the 2/2 taunts, but I find having the +2/+2 even better, if you can get it on a Shade of Naxx, a Druid of the Claw, an AoL or Emperor Thaurssion, some sort of combination of minions (my most common two are DoTC and KoTG, sometimes (very, very rarely) the Shade of Naxx as well, meaning short of a Twistering Nether, Doomsayer and freeze, Enter the Collisiuem, and a few other rare forms of Mass AoE, you insta win the game.

Cenarius . . .
When I opened this, It was the most Meh feeling I've ever had opening any legendary.
There was absolutely no excitement.
On top of that, I think this card is absolute garbage.
On the other hand . . . I'm 400 Dust away from a Dr. Boom . . .
So it would, to me anyways, seem like a good idea to just dust this, and get the boom.
If there is anyone who finds fault in this reasoning, or thinks that I should not Disenchant the Cenarius, Speak now or forever hold your peace.
I like to make cards and discuss game balance.
I enjoy when "No similar decks were found."

Cenarius is a good card and should not be dusted. However, if you compare it to Dr. Boom, oh well, it is indeed shitty ^^
But still, I vote for keeping it.
As long as you're ABSOLUTELY sure you'll never play Druid competetively, you might dust the card.
Feeling underwhelmed by your legendary? Wait til you get Hemet Nessingwary.
Cenarius is just a bit too slow these days but still a good card. There are a lot worse to get and I wouldn't chuck him for Dr. Balance

Keep it you never know what will cone for druid in the near future.. The card is really good.

It was my third overall legendary and the first playable after Captain Greenskin and Tinkmaster Overspark(past nerf). So I might be biased...

2 Millhouse Manastorm, Captain Greenskin and most recently, Illidan Stormrage. Anyone feel bad for me? *sad*
Game is a part of love and life, simple yet crucial :)
Honestly, it's a great card that I love to draw from a Raven Idol. Dust only if you absolutely hate Druids and never plan on playing one.
Keep it!

Cenarius is great card, my advice keep it and wait little bit longer for DR.Boom.

As practically everyone else has said, I wouldn't dust it (have one and didn't).
Oblivion!

It's better to have DrBoom to help you get to rank5 for the month which is worth 500 dust...
DrBoom is played in like 9\10 competetive decks - even when he doesn't fit the theme many times. Hes that good.
So - more druids run Boom than Cenarius by far. So, if you plan on playing druid, Boom is actually better.
