This is the laddering history and rank achieved:
2.How to play Hybrid Dragon Warrior
This is the great mana curve of our warrior, a great scale on early game, stopping it on turn 4, and going up on late game.
This deck is not easy to play, it has so many synergies with dragons, and we need to learn when we can spend a card without use the synergy, or when we can wait to take all the value from the card.
So, you always need to keep one dragon to activate the synergies. This deck act in the most parts of the game like a control deck, but at the same time you can make pressure on the board with your early and midrange minions, and if you need, you can pressure your oponnent hiting face.
You have so many midrange minions, hard removals, anti control cards,... If you learn how to play this deck, you can try to beat whatever.
3.Deck
-Execute : the best single removal on warrior, works on the 90% of warrior decks.
-Shield Slam : great card used on the most part of control warrior decks, i decide to introduce it in this deck because we have spells to get armor like Bash and Shield Block . And works good with Justicar Trueheart . Getting +1 point of damage with Azure Drake and the armor up spells, is a great card to be with us on the battle.
-Fiery War Axe : our faithful friend, one of the best weapons in the game, always works good. (If you are a good warrior you need to have it on turn 2, or turn 1 with coin(Kappa) ).
-Slam : 2 damages and draw a card if u want, a great card, we only have one copy because we already have draws with the Azure Drake and Shield Block, and one copy of it give us a better mana curve.
-Alexstrasza's Champion : i change x2 Armorsmith for those cards. Give us a better early game, a better board cleaning, a better pressure and with his synergie we have a 3-3 charge, awesome.
-Bash : 3 damages for 3 mana, and it give us 3 of armor, is perfect to combo with Shield Slam and Azure Drake doing one more damage.
-Shield Block : a great combo with Shield Slam and draw a card, good to use in this combo, and without it, this is a good turn 3 to ocuppy.
-Ravaging Ghoul : good card to beat 1 health minions, combo with Execute and with it we have presence on board.
-Elise Starseeker : a great 4 mana minion and one more resource to add in our deck the Golden Monkey, helping us to beat other control decks.
-Twilight Guardian : combo with all our dragons, with the synergie we have a 3-6 taunt minion, thats not a joke on the board, and he can help us to beat aggro decks like a God.
-Brawl : another more hard removal on our deck, he give us stability on the board and it stop the pressure of our enemy, a great card.
-Azure Drake : One of our dragons, great presence on board, +1 spell damage and draw a card, the perfect minion on the deck.
-Blackwing Corruptor : 5 mana drop 5-4 , use the synergie dealing 3 damage on whatever objetive, other of the potential midrange cards in our deck, and he help us to control the board too. Combo with [card]Execute/card] too.
-Harrison Jones : The master of the actual meta, Dr.5 in action, breaking a weapon a drawing some cards, incredible 5 mana drop to face whatever class with weapons, in adittion if the other class haven't got weapons, is a great 5-4. Versus shaman is game.
-Justicar Trueheart: The God of the control decks, he help us to play more defensively, keeping our cards and using them with caution. We transform our warrior into a tank. Helping us to make better combo with Shield Slam.
-Sylvanas Windrunner : the classic Dr.6 playable in all the metas, always doing goods on warrior decks, make combo killing her with Shield Slam to steal an important minion from the enemies board or combo with Brawl , giving us the only minion who win the brawl.
-Chillmaw : this deck tries to control aggro and midrange decks, so Chillmaw is perfect here. Doing goods versus Zoolock, Shaman aggro, Shaman Midrange and Hunter too, i love this tech card in this meta deck, and is a big dragon too, helping to the synergies.
-Ragnaros the Firelord : i prefer this Big guy instead of other dragon like Nefarian because is a great classic card that works good in the 80% of the match ups, this card is like a wildcard, always can help us in the game cleaning a minon or going face to make pressure, and is a big drop that the enemy needs to deal with it, and thats not quite easy.
-Ysera : the mother of all the dragons, the best control minon card right now, difficult to clean, making pressure, making combo with the synergies cards and giving us one of her Dream cards that always help us a lot to face the game.
4.Replacements
-Elise Starseeker: i think this card is so good right now in this deck but u can replace it with another taunt like Bloodhoof Brave, a consistent drop like Cairne Bloodhoof, a Big Guy with board removal like Baron Geddon or another Dragon like Chromaggus to try more control strategyor Drakonid Crusher to have more early game. But definetively i love Elise Starseeker.
-Sylvanas Windrunner: i think is irreplaceable, but if u dont have it u can try Chromaggus to more synergies with the deck, Cairne Bloodhoof to have a consistent drop or The Black Knight to destroy one big taunt.
-Chillmaw: i already love this card in the deck, but i think that the only one card that can replace it in the deck is Baron Geddon doing a similar damage on the board. Or put one more dragon like Nefarian or Chromaggus .
-Ragnaros the Firelord: u can replace Ragnaros with some cards like Grommash Hellscream, Chromaggus, Baron Geddon or Nefarian. It depends on your idea to use this deck.
-Ysera: I think the only one card that can try replace Ysera should be Nefarian but thats not the same effect. If u want to add Grommash Hellscreaminstead of Ragnaros the Firelord u can try to use Alexstrasza instead of Ysera.
5.Mulligan
-Aggro: You want to control the board and reppel the aggro moves. Fiery War Axe, Ravaging Ghoul, Slam, one dragon and Alexstrasza's Champion.
-Midrange: You want to take the early game to make easier the board control.Fiery War Axe,Twilight Guardian,Slam and one dragon.
-Control: You want to play slowly ir your early is not good, and u want to make pressure i f u have good early. If u have a good early withAlexstrasza's Champion and one dragon keep it, it depends of the hero, u can make more pressure versus Priest than versus other Warrior control. Keep a dragon, Elise Starseeker,Fiery War Axe(it depends on the enemy's hero) and some Midrange game.

-Thanks to all the people who enjoy my decks -
Great deck. Fun and wins a lot. Write-up is missing a detailed guide for mulligan. So here's my contribution. Will update and improve as I play more with this deck.
Druid (50% aggro / beast - 50% C'Thun) - Mulligan for aggro
Hunter (80% midrange / 20% N'Zoth) - Mulligan for midrange
Mage (50% tempo - 50% control / freeze) - Mulligan for aggro
Paladin (10% aggro - 90% control) - Mulligan for control
Priest (30% dragon - 70% control) - Mulligan for control
Rogue (80% miracle - 20% control) - Mulligan for midrange
Shaman (100% totem - lol) - Mulligan for midrange
Warlock (80% aggro - 20% Reno) - Mulligan for aggro
Warrior (20% tempo - 80% control) - Mulligan for midrange
Based and adapted from above, mulligans are:
Aggro: mulligan hard for Fiery War Axe, then keep Ravaging Ghoul and Slam. Keep Alexstrasza's Champion only if you already have Twilight Guardian / Azure Drake in hand.
Midrange: Fiery War Axe, Twilight Guardian, Slam and one dragon (+Bash vs Hunter)
Control (option 1 - pressure): Alexstrasza's Champion and one dragon, Fiery War Axe
Control (option 2 - slow): Justicar Trueheart or Elise Starseeker, Twilight Guardian
Please comment to improve this mini guide.
Hey man what is a good replacement for Harrison? Acidic swamp ooze?
I love this deck. I'm top 100 on NA right now.
Amazing deck. I changed out Elise for Nefarian and still able to win more than 50% vs control warrior. climbed from rank 8 to rank 4 last two days.
np man. I did actualy end up putting elise back in instead of one azure drake and kept nefarian. managed to hit legend for the first time this month!
Hey man, cool deck. I made a few changes and use Revenge instead of the Ghouls so that there is a plays for Grommash Hellscream as well.
Had a super long game against a control priest yesterday (played 3 Yoggs^^) while I was streaming: Gameplay

Got all the cards but made 2 changes. Deathwing Dragonlord instead of Rag and Emperor instead of Justicar. Wanna try it that way.
I do not have
Chillmaw
than to replace him ?
realy well balanced deck)) gj man
Anyone else got huge Problems vs all these hunters currently on EU ladder? Dunno if I'm just unlucky but the 2nd Call of the Wild always fucks me.
If you don't have Harrison Jones, couldn't you replace him with Acidic Swamp Ooze? Just curious :D
I do want a control warrior deck thats good vs aggro and mid range like you said but can it hold its own vs control?
And isnt 14-3 a rather small sample size to dictate how well it does on ladder?
Wow nice, but just wondering why would someone play this deck over something like this https://tempostorm.com/hearthstone/decks/dragon-nzoth-control-warrior-standard-meta-snapshot-june-08-2016
Which seems more refined?
Any reason no Grommash? He's included in just about every single warrior deck except pirate warrior (afaik).
Have you considered N'Zoth? Chillmaw and Sylvanas are enough to warrant it for a very large power spike against control
Why "hybrid" in the title? It looks much like old crtl dragon warrior which is pretty much the way u build ur dragon warrior. Maybe cuz of the new meta with aggresive dragon decks or what?
Can you explain to me what the hybrid parts are?
There is this "draggro" deck which runs Drakonid crusher and wins with constant board pressure, and there is the elise control warrior with a ton of removals like revenge, bash, and so on. This deck is something in between, because it plays some control deck removals like bash and shield slam with shield block and big lategame minions like ysera and elise (which leads to a lot of big minions), while also having some board pressuring early/mid game with alexstraszas champion, twilight guardian and blackwing corruptor. Thats why its called hybrid.
In the past there have been lots of control warrior decks based on dragon synergies, and this has nothing in common with the tempo dragon warrior deck going around with the Drakonids (before someone uploads it here as their own creation: it mostly originated from this). It's just semantics beyond a certain point, but "hybrid" is a rather poor description here, Not that it really matters...
One guy says it's a hybrid between tempo/aggro dragon warrior and control. The other says it's a hybrid between control and midrange. What me and the others are saying is it's just a typical control dragon warrior, like so many others before it and so many to follow (at least until the major dragon synergies leave Standard). A true "hybrid" is one that very clearly borrows elements from two deck types, like for example the old combo&ramp hybrid druids that included only 1 combo instead of 2, plus lots of pure ramp cards.
And what is also being said is that beyond a certain point it's just semantics, and that it's pointless to get your mind stuck on labels - same case with music and art in general.
