Happy Halloween to all of you, today I present you a spooky Renolock which might be too good in control match ups while being terribly crushed by aggro. As usually every single card in this list is replaceable, it´s all about having fun. Trust me, I am Legend on NA, you face the same 3 decks over and over again, no fun at all. That is why I stayed at Rank 5 on EU this month to actually enjoy playing the game :)

 

Mulligan

Against Aggro: you basically want to go for Kazakus to get an almost safe boardclear with the potion on 5 or even as a 1 Mana one on 4 + Coin vs. Paladins/Zoo Warlocks. Hellfire as well as the 5 Mana Taunts like Sludge Belcher & Rotten Applebaumare great as well.

 

Against Control: you aim for the value which is hidden in all those fun late game cards. Ragnaros the Firelord and his buddy The Lich King are a pain to go through. Emperor Thaurissan helps as well. A Mountain Giant and Twilight Drake are also recommended

 

Against Big: Priest/Kingsbane/Combo you either hit that concede button OR try to impress the gods of RNG by giving them the worst hands possible. Deathlord is basically the only way you can disrupt Exodia mages and even then it´s unlikely. I play for fun so I take the loss of 1 Minute for a gain of a better playing experience.

 

 

Card Choices

Prince Keleseth is in here for exactly 1 reason. Imagine your Warlock opponent plays him on turn 1/2 what do you assume he plays? Definitely not Renolock.

I simply put in the cards I liked and have fun playing with. Obviously N'Zoth, the Corruptor & Sylvanas Windrunner + The Demon package have synergy and are in more competitive decks as ell, but for real, I just like how the cards look (in golden) 

 

 

Replacements

Every. Single. Card.  No Joke, even Reno Jackson is replaceable, just imagine he got burned by an imaginative Gnomeferatu Not sure if I made it clear but this deck is really just to have a good time, I know that winning and making progress by ranking up is psychologically needed to have the highest possible experience according to Flow by the psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi which is why I suggest to either pick a format to rank up and one to meme around or just play on 2 servers as I do.

Q: Why is everything in golden?

A: I just love the animations + enjoy the flavor of a full golden deck more. Also Golden Coin Pog

 

Q: Do you only play Meme Decks

A: On EU Yes. I try hard on NA but even there I go for my own style of a Tier 1 Deck like putting in 2x Fan of Knives in Odd.Rogue or going for a Silithid Swarmer
