Make sure to leave an upvote +1 if you enjoy the concept, that helps out a ton!
Here is a video showcase on the deck, I hope you enjoy!
I know very well that this deck is a bit more expensive in the series, BUT is also is one of the most powerful budgetstone decks and the only one to be considered a control deck so far. Lesser Sapphire Spellstone needs some good card or big guys to be played competitively and I feel like the best way to really make it shine is in a 9 mana 3 card combo with snowfury giant and Ancestral Spirit. Overall the deck is still considered budget and should not take that long to craft.
As always, make sure to fill this empty bun with some prime bratwurst and all of the other condiments you love. Maybe sliding hotdogs down is the easiest way for you to consume hearthstone's content but a good old fully loaded meal is much better!
Here's some spices that professional grill masters would use to raise the tastiness level. if you have those cards, please consider adding them, it'll increase the overall winrate!
Earth Elemental
Sandbinder
Hagatha the Witch
Far Sight
Hey, Kiwii (and everyone)!
I made another video discussing and showcasing one of your decks, if you have a moment to check it out that would be awesome! I even feature you as my "Comment of the day" at 1:45 :D
(The Intro is meant to be silly, and I go on to some successful matches afterwards)

Shaman is dead for now. Blizzard got rid of it, and no matter what you do for reanimating it. Maybe with next expansion set...
Heard of even shaman mate? Also, it's not exactly supposed to get you to legend lmao
nice deck! got 21% WR with this, looks very competitive
Now, this is basically an updated version of quite an old deck called Crusher Shaman years ago which made use of the Far Sight + Earth Elemental + Ancestral Spirit + Faceless Manipulator combo. I've always been a fan of this particular (Overload) archetype outside of aggressive lists, so thumbs up for reviving it! It's still pretty vulnerable to any kind of Silence/Transfigure effect but can shine in slower metas such as the current one.
Given the lack of a reliable draw engine it seems reasonable to play cards such as Acolyte of Pain (see Shudderwock Shaman) but I think double Mana Tide Totem + Far Sight (regarding your card suggestions which are really helpful) should suffice. If you consider playing a copy of Sandbinder remember to run only few but important targets, otherwise it just becomes another Gnomish Inventor. Personally I'm not too fond of Drakkari Defender since it can backfire pretty hard if the opponent is able to answer it on the following turn, possibly leaving you with nothing to play. The main advantage it has over e.g. Feral Spirit is to rush the development of your Spellstones but you would have to draw them first and there are more than enough options for the 3 mana-slot. In the end, it's all a matter of preference.
One last note, I'm not sure if Hagatha the Witch is suitable for this style of play. Many times you won't be able to play it due to all the Overload and the deck usually doesn't run many minions. I've tried a Freeze/Overload hybrid some time ago but it didn't work out well.

To conclude, it's nice to see a playable Shaman list making use of Overload which doesn't run Tunnel Trogg. Thank you!
I'm not on a budget, been playing a looong time but I will give it a go because I havent played something special for long and Im sick and tired of meta decks. Thanks for it!
Hey, this is basically a budget version of Brian Kibler's overload shaman deck. If you're not on a budget, his deck would probably give better results -

Thanks man!
Absolutely loving this Budgetstone Series! Looking forward to more decks and guides. Thanks for all your hard work. :)
Carnivorous Cube is another sub-out possibility.
ehhh anyone else know if this would actually work in the deck? I think it would take too long to develop. Most of the time when I am about to pull off the combo I have low health or am struggling to survive.
Stay awesome.
EDIT: 10/10 Great deck at a low price - would play again.
thanks :D I'm glad you appreciate it
Another fantastic addition to the series, really loving the decks you're coming up with! Played a few games with the base version of the list, check them out;
(Games start at 3:48)
As far as a budget control deck goes, this is a solid one! Would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to give late-game a try.
Once again, thanks so much for the deck!
Wich Cards swap out for Hagatha and co. ? like it that u play the deck at higher ranks, well done :)
These were my thoughts exactly. However as I am not a fan of Drakari Defender (6 mana total for a 2/8 taunt, no thanks) I kinda like Stone Hill defender for that spot. Also would add Zap!! Also adding Cauldrons are nice if you go for the fire flies addition.
Dropped the Stormforged Axe for another Acolyte of Pain, and have had pretty good success. Ancestral Spirit has made even a Totem Taunt an effective delaying tactic.
Hello Kiwi!
Thanks for messaging me. I am very sorry but I am currently supporting my teammate on HCT Italy while preparing myself for HCT Germany qualifier - 4 days all-day long hardcore tournaments which will be in a few days so I am really busy and I can' really afford to play your deck properly.
What is more important ,you have my greatest thanks for being a successor in my effort to bring a good game experience for those who are new or just don't want to invest into the game, you are doing an awesome job there.
Here, at least have my initial thoughts:
1. Blazing Invocation is in my opinion better 1-drop than Witch's Apprentice for the matter of deck - Discover > Add random x to your hand. You maybe can get good overload spell of it, but more often you don't. Pool of shaman's battlecry cards is really fun and powerfull, so it may give some spicy scenarios into the game.
2. I would push the whole deck towards elemental synergy with early drops likeFire Fly and discovering from Servant of Kalimos for more Snowfury Giants, Earth Elementals or just giving you the better options to answer situation.
3. I would remove Loot Hoarders and add one more Acolyte of Pain. Volcano synergy is just great with it.
4. Zap!
Leaving it here so other people could also join the discussion.
Good job and good luck with this glorious mission of helping F2P community to have fun with HearthStone!

I'm not much of a budget guy but I am a big shaman spellstone fan. Either way, I enjoy the deck style immensely and applaud you for making different decks for those who don't have as many cards. Here are some thoughts I had regarding it:
When I tried running a crusher/spellstone deal, I included Guild Recruiter and Injured Blademaster to make big tempo plays since you can pull either an IBM or a Drakkari Defender with recruiter. Including that would mean you'd have to drop Witch's Apprentice which I'm not the most fond of anyway but Mana Tide Totem could stay in as the draw is really necessary for shamans. A copy of Ancestral Healing works well with IBM and can also be an awesome combination with Snowfury Giant + spellstone against more aggressive decks. All that being said, there are other good recruiter targets in the deck so I think the card is a nice addition in place of apprentice, even if you don't go with IBM and healing.
Your card recommendations are all fantastic inclusions if people can afford them. Earth Elemental is a must in my opinion as it bumps you up to six cards that upgrade the spellstone in one go. Far Sight gives cycle and allows for amazing combos (I always use it in shaman control or combo decks). I don't own Hagatha so I can't speak into her inclusion but I don't think Sandbinder is all that necessary since its value is rooted in it being a tutor and with so many elementals in the deck, it's mostly just a draw card. I also wouldn't want to pull it with Guild Recruiter.
All in all, I like the idea and it's making me want to go back and play some more spellstone/crusher shaman since I haven't played that since Kobolds and the old rotation.
As an aside to this, I made a non-budget version of this deck and went 5/1. I'm only at rank 15 in standard since I played wild last two seasons but here are the alterations in case anyone is interested in trying it out. Played against all meta decks (3 heal zoolocks, 1 even warlock, 1 token druid, 1 spell hunter)
Removed: Witch's Apprentice, Stormforged Axe, Fire Elemental, Loot Hoarder, Acolyte of Pain, Stormwatcher
Added: Far Sight, Earth Elemental, Injured Blademaster, Guild Recruiter
Found myself with plenty of draw. I actually had Unbound Elementals in place of Hot Spring Guardians but in almost every situation that I played or pulled unbound, I would have preferred guardian so I've made the swap from now on. Thanks for the fun deck idea!
