Mulligan:
Always keep: Mana Wyrm, Loot Hoarder, Sorcerer's Apprentice (it's even better with few spells in hand)
vs aggro keep: Breath of Sindragosa, Primordial Glyph ( to find a board clear), Frostbolt (it's not always good to keep but it can help to remove early threat), Glacial Shard
vs control keep: Arcane Intellect, Aluneth, Bloodmage Thalnos (its not a perfect keep but you can draw cards)
vs big minions like Mountain Giant keep: Glacial Shard or Breath of Sindragosa with Snap Freeze
if you have coin or good mana curve keep: Coldwraith with Glacial Shard (you can freeze opponent face and you still get card) or Breath of Sindragosa
Card Replacements:
Aluneth -> Acolyte of Pain (not as that good but its a budget replacement)
Leeroy Jenkins -> Bittertide Hydra or Cobalt Scalebane (Hydra is better because you do not require another minion on board to get value)
Bloodmage Thalnos (it's hard to replace because it's OP) you can try Spellshifter, Cinderstorm, Shimmering Tempest or Arcane Missiles
Snap Freeze (it's a tech card so sometimes it's useless) -> Shimmering Tempest or Amani Berserker
Lifedrinker -> Arcane Keysmith (if you dont need more dmg and prefer to confuse your opponent with secrets)
Tech tools:
Lifedrinker -> Pyroblast (this change is okay vs. control)
Snap Freeze -> Pyros (good only against Midrange and Control decks) I really like this card because it gives you card to play on turn 6 and 10.
Cinderstorm - really good against odd paladin or you can just launch this to your opponent face
Arcane Missiles - it's just like Cinderstorm but smaller
Acidic Swamp Ooze - only against weapon classes or if you face a lot of cubelocks
Bittertide Hydra - great card when you want to play aggressively
Elise the Trailblazer - i do not recommend this change but you can do it for fun because Aluneth will give you pack in no time you just need free space in your hand to open it and not die from fatigue
Arcane Explosion - good tech vs aggro decks and you can combo this with Bloodmage Thalnos
Shimmering Tempest - RNG=fun?
Game Plan:
This deck is a little bit similar to tempo secret mage but secrets where removed in favour of freeze spells.
Try to play aggressively and burn your opponent face (actually freeze).
In early stages of game try to develop minions on board and then draw cards and finish your opponent with burst. (Fireball, Leeroy Jenkins, Pyroblast)
Best Curve:
Mana Wyrm -> Sorcerer's Apprentice or Loot Hoarder -> Coldwraith -> Water Elemental or Lifedrinker
Side notes:
It's okay to keep Primordial Glyph when you have Mana Wyrm to buff it or find a removal to protect Mana Wyrm
It's okay to play Coldwraith without freezing effect because it's good stated minion but when you can also draw a card then it is OP
Snap Freeze don't always have to be used to kill a minion it can freeze sth to protect your creatures
Card Explanation:
Breath of Sindragosa - cheap removal that fits perfectly in this deck because of freeze effect
Mana Wyrm - best friend of all aggro mages because it's cheap, hard to kill and can be buffed by spells
Frostbolt - freeze, remove or go face...
Primordial Glyph - need another Fireball, Pyroblast or Polymorph against Voidlord? Just trust RNGesus
Snap Freeze - Great single target removal or can be used to freeze sth.
Sorcerer's Apprentice - another friend of aggro mage. Good stats and discount on spells = OP
Arcane Intellect - you need cards to burn opponent or to find Aluneth
Coldwraith - good stats and can gives you card
Fireball - face is the place ... sometimes you can use it on minion
Water Elemental - great stats and synergy. it's also counter against weapon classes
Aluneth - fatigue yourself ... I mean draw a lot of cards, burn your opponent face and win
Pyroblast - best card to BM your opponent
Glacial Shard - freeze effect
Bloodmage Thalnos - Spell dmg and card draw, it's great
Loot Hoarder - you need card draw and thats one of the best options
Lifedrinker - additional dmg and you can heal which is important against aggro
Leeroy Jenkins - additional dmg, use this or Pyroblast as a finisher

I do agree the skill involved playing SOME aggro decks, lately ive been playing in wild aggro odd pally and its so easy, i just win if opponent doesnt have board clears simple. Now for this deck aggro mage is the least skilled required to play cause just like everybody hates charge minions then spells to the face cant be loved too right? where is the skill in that. turn 8 double fireball to face WOW, next turn coin out a topdecked Pyroblast. ignoring the board state ignoring everything else. only skill is if u face other aggro mid range decks.
Leeroy Jenkins does not make sense in a mage deck, you already have 2 fireballs, 2 frostbolts and a pyroblast, you dont really need more burst. This deck needs some board clears. I suggest flamestrike or baron geddon. I find towards the end of the game you really need to just clear their board to stall. Switching an arcane intellect for a cinderstorm isnt a bad idea either, this deck already has good card draw.
Is it any better than Aluneth Mage?
Im really enjoying the wild version of this deck... Great Job! Hey, atleast it can win against Quest Druid XD
You answered your own question.
0% chance vs warrs and druids. Concede button seems legit
Any room for Frost Lich Jaina? I've been putting her in nearly all my mage builds as a long term strategy because you can start keeping your life up. And if you have elementals already in your deck, she just gets better from that.
Wait what no Frost Nova?? I'm surprised
It is too slow
Ah another skill reliant deck to pilot. I love those
I am sick of this trope. Slow decks are often brainless. Freeze mage is extremely brainless to play. Fast decks are often very strategic. Learning to hold back cards you COULD play is a key skill in this type of deck. Just because a deck is aggressive instead of reactionary or fast instead of slow does not make it simple to play.
Classically miracle rogue is a pretty aggressive deck and one of the hardest in hearthstone to play. Similarly, control warrior is pretty bland and is generally the slowest thing in existence.
Don't feed the trolls :P
Pirate Warrior was such a strategic deck.
Funnily enough pirate warrior mirror was probably one of the hardest mirrors to pilot. Especially with even draw rng
it's not perfect but it's okay
Tainted Zealot is too slow
Too slow? It's exactly the same cost and does exactly the same thing without drawing a card. Hardly too slow.
Sometimes you only need to use a thalnos to cycle
Haven't had much luck with this deck at rank 5 yet, but I may just need more practice with it. I like the idea and it is funny getting the "amazing" emotes from opponents when you snap freeze and destroy one of their big minions.
