This is my new variation of Keleseth Tempo Rogue that i'm working on, the deck is inspired by Jambre's Weapon Pirate Rogue that he created November last year, Runeforge Haunter and Shadowblade is a very effective combo that people dont expect. Here are my Stats and Replays from Rank 5 to 3 today (June 5th) :
Kiwiinbacon made a vídeo showcasing the deck :) i really recommend you guys check out his channel, he is a nice guy with very interesting content and there's a new Hearthstone showcase vídeo everyday also some card packs giveaway so if you are not yet subscribed make sure to do it this will help him a lot! Thank you very much again my friend.
I hope you guys try this deck out and tell me how it perform to you! GL HF.
Well, I would remove the Captain Greenskin, he isn't worth it imo... Replacing two 3-drop slots for a weapon looks like a bit anti-tempo, but Runeforge Haunter maybe make it worth it (using the weapon 3 times gives you a lot of value for sure). I really want to run Shadowstep in this deck due to Prince Keleseth, but we would have way many spells for a tempo deck. Removing Tar Creeper for Shadowstep would make Cobalt Scalebane not worth it, we also can't remove Saronite Chain Gang (with Keleseth gives too much value to be removed). I am not sure if I want to replace Cobalt Scalebane and [card]Tar Creeper/card] with something more aggresive to make the deck more of an Aggro deck instead of a Tempo deck to take full advantage of the Shadow Blade and aggressively statted minions like Southsea Deckhand and Runeforge Haunter. I might consider putting Marsh Drake. I might suggest trying out Spiteful Smith, if you manage to protect your Runeforge Haunter it can be worth it. (I would put it instead of Cobalt Scalebane) As for Odd-Paladin and other decks which use the ''swarm'' strategy, if you don't like losing to them, I suggest you play another class. Fan of Knives won't cut it as so Vanish. You migth put a lot of 1-drops so that you win the early game, but that makes your deck weaker against Warlock and Priest.
P.S. I don't like running Fungalmancer in Rouge Tempo decks for the reason that most of the time you just don't have 2 minions to buff.
My Elemental Tempo Rogue version with Prince Keleseth
This deck is surprisingly good. I didn't realize Runeforge Haunter and Shadowblade were meant to be played together.
I do not know why my last post was duplicated but let me be clearer this time because surely a lot of people did not understand what I meant, I'm not saying that you will not succeed playing with Rogue meta decks on the ladder of course you can go well and get even high legend with it (I even took legend with Odd Rogue last season) but these two specific classes and mainly because of these two cards that I mentioned (because the class has no reliable answer for this) is pushing away the Rogue to be top tier IMO, I was not going to complain if Rogue had a good way of dealing with this other than Vanish or Blade Flurry , talking about it there are also Kingsbane Rogue which many of the PRO players despise and say is just one joke archetype but I believe it is doing very well in the rankings right now.
Please, do not come insulting me if you have nothing relevant to say because this is just my opinion as the deck is on the frontpage right now I think it's an opportunistic time to say it.
Thanks for reading.
Everything you say here is correct; I theorycrafted a weapon-based Tempo Rogue before Witchwood released, based on Jambre's UK decks. Unfortunately, it rolls over to wide boards (so the Call to Arms nerf will have improved it) but also taunts and weapon destruction - too many things to dodge consistently to do well. Not to mention Shadowblade's awkward anti-synergy with the Rogue hero power. That said, I think I can improve your list.
Runeforge Haunter is a bad card and Tar Creeper has no place in an aggressive deck like this. Saronite Chain Gang is the best card in the game with Prince Keleseth (apart from Shadowstep). So:
-2 Runeforge Haunter +2 Saronite Chain Gang
-2 Tar Creeper +2 Dread Corsair (should always be played for 1-mana or 0-mana)
You shouldn't need 2 Spellbreakers when you have access to 2 Vilespine and Shadowsteps:
-1 Spellbreaker +1 Shadowstep
Cobalt Scalebane is the definition of an OK card, but synergizes less well with this kind of deck than Bittertide Hydra:
-2 Cobalt Scalebane + 1 Bittertide Hydra
That leaves 1 slot - you could run second Hydra (but you can end up dead real quick if you play 2 at once) or a second Shadowstep. You REALLY should run 2 Shadowsteps with this many battlecries and Leeroy.
+1 Shadowstep
Hey ephraimwaite, Yeah Shadowblade is a very good card but you're right it is also awkward with Hench-Clan Thug. I though about those cards already and i agree that Shadowstep and Saronite Chain Gang is way too good for not run in Keleseth deck but i dont quite like Dread Corsair or Hydra in this meta tbh also Runeforge Haunter is the main reason to run Shadowblade in this deck, anyways , I just swap for my original list that i got Legend Season 49 in this last days and i'm having better results with it so far it really feels smoother and have better synergy overall, theShadowblade deck started really well it was a nice experiment but after many games I did not find it consistent enough.
this is the deck if you interested i climbed from Rank 4 to 1 today with it: www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1077072-ww-legend-keleseth-tempo-rogue-70-wr
Thank you for the reply.
what changed in one day?
Sup guys, I'll be straight and honest now as always the deck is unplayable because of Hunter and Odd Paladin, sadly. You can having fun playing something different for sure but to climb on Ranked right now it's impossible i really tried but you gonna have a hard time with it, in fact Rogue is not in a good spot at all even Meta decks Baku and Miracle are holding back by oppressive cards like Lesser Emerald Spellstone and Level Up!, that's about it hope you guys understand. Good luck to all.

I had a fantastic time playing this deck! While it is true that it is not the easiest deck to pilot, it is extremely satisfying to use runeforge haunter agressively. To be honest, this is the first time I played and ever saw this card played and I am happy to try new things around!
Since there is no guide on this deck, I decided to make a video showcasing it in action. I really hope you enjoy it.
Thank you for this vídeo mate, always appreciated! I'm very happy to see that your channel is growing and all the effort being rewarded, keep up the awesome work.
Hello guys,I played some more today (June 7th) total of 50 games right now and I'm struggling to past Rank 3 facing some bad-matchups like Odd Paladin, Big Control Mage, Tempo Mage and since Mage have those totally opposite archetypes sometimes i just mulligan it wrong and that cost me the game, I also lose some games by missplay despite being very experienced with the class and game in general I still make mistakes ... so for now im fighting with it at Rank 3 nothing very worry i even think that the deck is good in this meta, it's a pleasent deck to play with a large learning curve and some very good matchups (Taunt Druid, Odd Rogue, Miracle Rogue) as you can see in my stats, I believe that the most complicated aspect of the deck besides trying to keep the tempo always in your favor is knowing when to use your weapon or not ... I'm having a lot of fun with it almost hit Rank 2 today :) I'll keep playing and see what's the real winrate looks like after some games. thank you very much for all the support I really appreciate it.
Deck is super fun! Valeera is my golden gal and I love me some tempo rogue. This is an exciting twist on an archetype I've always loved and I do believe that Runeforge Haunter has actually won me three games due to weapon buffs. I'm having fun laddering again lmao
I'm glad you having a good time with it Typhsion. :)
You should do a mulligan guide, cause I have a 0-7 winrate with it...
With other rogue decks my winrate is over 60%
This deck looks cool but my performance with it is horrible, so maybe you could give some tips
0-7 in what rank? I think you should just give up of the deck, right? It's not working for you... i dont make guide btw just watch the replays you will get how i mulligan and pilot it, there are lots of way to mulligan with this depends on the matchups but you will always want Fire Fly Prince Keleseth , Hench-Clan Thug and sometimes Shadowblade .
Currently I am rank 5
Well yeah I guess so, yeah I ll check the replays out when I have time thanks though
Captain Greenskin remplazo , no lo tengo
Problably a copy of Fungalmancer .
