I appreciate the complement. Also a neat trick with it is you can spawn 3/1 Searing Totems with it when combined with Trueheart and any previous Searing Totems out that are 3/1s become 5/1s or 7/1s or 9/1s or 11/1s or etc or etc.
I think blizzard deliberately revealed a bunch of new shaman hotness before most everything else. They knew they'd be in trouble if they didn't come correct. Kudos to them, bc things are looking up w this fella alongside his soon to be usual suspects - tuskarr and golem.

This will be crazy good if it survives more than one turn. 4-2 totems or 6-2 totems would be pretty cool. Totemic Might might see some play too.
I guess this card will make or break the totem shaman class.
If it works, this + Maiden of the Lake + more inspire cards will crush ur opponent. I am slightly optimistic for shaman :)

I wonder if this card will actually be playable in constructed, i mean it looks like it could. Seems like all the cards might have a totem theme, which is fine because beating someone down with a totem feels so good.
Of course i dont think this card will ever be played on turn 5, most of the time it would come out on turn 7 or up, maybe turn 6 if you have the maiden of the lake. Want to at least get one trigger of it before it dies.

Does the inspire ability trigger after the totem is summoned? Meaning when you cast hero power with it on board and the summoned totem gets buffed? or will it apply the trigger before.
From what I have seen in the demo matches, Inspire effects trigger after the hero power has been used. So yes, your totem should get buffed once you summon it.
And that's what makes this card relevant. It's a late game card for sure, but I think it's situationally better than Neptulon. For 7 you get the body and the buff, no overload, and potential for more hijinks if it lives a turn.
Great card, if I have 2 totems I get 2+2+3 = 7 atk (distributed, no bgh target) and 6 + 2 + 2 = 10 hp for 5 + 2 + 2 = 9 mana.
7/10 (distributed) for 9 mana, not bad not bad!
