alakir 2.0 :P
but half as expensive :P its a remove me or die card .
WUT
i think is a very good arena card but not good construted card.
Taunt and divine shield are the most popular typs in arena.
4 Mana 3/3 is without all = very bad
4 Mana 3/3 with divine shield is a Silvermoon Guardian = ok
4 Mana 3/3 with taunt and divine shield is a Psych-o-Tron with 1 less health and mana = good
If you got extra lifesteel, windfury or both, he is likely one of the best cards.
Wickerflame Burnbristle is the best Card to help pair with Corpsetaker, ASSUMING that Wickerflame gets the Lifesteal keyword. But even if not, like you said, Taunt and Divine shield still makes it pretty good.
I believe that they already announced that he does get that :)
So usually this card will be usually 4 mana 3/3 with taunt, divine shield. Maybe somedecks will have lifesteal as well so it can have lifesteal too. I don't think windfury will be included to any deck. It is very good for control decks in constructed gameplay
For arena, this card will be absolutely insane because all these stats will mostly be available.
wait why does this card exist?
HAHAHA VALUE OVERWHELMINGG
-rafaam, DA SUPREME ARCHEOLEGISTTT
So much value , so less mana , wow
Dr. 4
You got the wrong card, bud.
I like this card a lot. Its a cool versatile card that can duplicate a lot of effects in your deck. It encourages you to build a deck a specific way and I think it wouldnt be too difficult to make it a 4 mana 3/3 with taunt and divine shield
You know what would be cool? If instead of the card itself glowing yellow, the individual keywords would glow yellow. That way, you'd know which keywords are applied
And a lifesteal minion and ur set ;)
Wickerflame Burnbristle does the same.
Although Burnie doesn't have windfury
Young Dragonhawk might finally see play lads :^)
Quick snapshot of relevant keywords each class currently runs: (Source: several Midrange and Control decklists per class)
Druid: Taunt (e.g. Tar Creeper, Jade Behemoth, Primordial Drake)
Hunter: None
Mage: None
Paladin: Taunt (Wickerflame Burnbristle, Sunkeeper Tarim, Tirion Fordring, Stonehill Defender, The Curator, Primordial Drake), Divine Shield (Wickerflame Burnbristle, Tirion Fordring).
Priest: Taunt (Primordial Drake, Tortollan Shellraiser)
Rogue: None
Shaman: Taunt (Tar Creeper, Hot Spring Guardian, Stonehill Defender, Thing from Below)
Warlock: Taunt (Faceless Shambler, Second-Rate Bruiser, Voidwalker, Dirty Rat, Tar Creeper
Warrior: Taunt (Dirty Rat, Stonehill Defender, Tar Creeper, The Curator, Primordial Drake, Bloodhoof Brave, Alley Armorsmith, Direhorn Hatchling)
Several takeaways. First, Taunt is a non-issue for most classes; even those which don't normally run Taunts have playable neutral options in Tar Creeper and Primordial Drake. Second, the other 3 keywords are an issue for every class except Paladin. Important, because 4 Mana 3/3 with Taunt alone is a worse Ironfur Grizzly.
Paladin seems the most natural fit: giving Corpsetaker Divine Shield, Taunt, and Lifesteal put it on par with Wickerflame Burnbristle.
Note that a Corpsetaker deck does not need dozens of Keyword minions. Even running 2 copies of minions with each keyword can almost guarantee that Corpsetaker will receive the effect. As a precedent, we've seen Curator decks that run just 2 Murloc cards, yet are able to consistently have at least 1 in the deck at any given time. Reno Jackson has historically struggled with only a couple duplicate cards, like Shield Slam or Execute, in all but the most dedicated Fatigue decks.
