We had the peak of Dude Paladin with Baku, we know where this goes. I wish they would have pushed a different archetype because this one is a little boring imo. It's kinda disappointing.
Good thing they didnt keep the 1 mana 3 1 cost card First Day of School lol
Just to be sure, those cards have to be different all the time ? or when you get to another stage you can play same cards ?
Get to another stage they reset so you can play them as if you never did :)
each step starts fresh. u can replay.
Just wanna say to anyone who thinks about Odd Paladin.
The real strength of Odd Paladin is pusing hard and establishing a strong board on the first 3 turns. So, even though this card is awesome, I am not sure about its viability. Turn 1 Tour Guide is much more meaningful.
The 2nd quest upgrades your hero power after finished. You don't need a Baku deck to make this card work.
turns out T1 Quest +(Coin) or T2 Sidequest + Tour Guide is the Highroll now.
So Goru the Mightree but a lot less draw dependent.... near guaranteed that on turn 6 you'll be summoning 2 x 3/3 Silver Hand with your hero power.
Add to that Pursuit of Justice & Lothraxion the Redeemed.... Paladin are going to be very strong next standard...
Just realized though that Far Watch Post is an hard counter to that card...
I like the idea of Dude Paladin, but now that it might actually be super-strong, I'm a little worried! It's also scary that the whole thing will often be finished by turn 4, with Cariel nearly always being played on curve. At least the first reward is the absolute worst -- it helps offset the god-tier rewards of the other parts.
