Summoning portal first of all is a spell which has synergy with mage, and the minion you get is 1 less mana. Not the case with this card, I dont get why people are offended when someone says that this looks bad, which it does, everyone has their opinion
I wasn't offended and wasn't trying to give that impression, rather, just joining the discussion. My point wasn't that you can't call it a bad card, rather that the rng element isn't bad. Sure, unstable portal is better because of the cost reduction and synergy with Flamewaker and Mana Wyrm, but that doesn't make this strictly a bad card. It has potential, most people are looking at the floor and ceiling (that is, a Wisp on turn 9 vs Ysrera on turn 9) but, as the OP stated, it's the middle ground where it needs be judged, how often it provides the minion you need on a given turn and that is why you would run it. Plus all the potential fun that could happen dropping a minion out of class or otherwise not associated with what you play. Again, I didn't mean to come off as snarky or offended.
Its not just you every comment that says the card involves too much rng has minus rating, which i cant understand why since its the truth. Granted the card has potential to be fun but to be good in any turn you must be extremely lucky, the wisp ysera or wisp deathwing analogy is wrong. You not only have to be able to play it on a given turn, so it must be the mana you have or less, but it has to not mess up your tempo meaning lets say with druid on 5 you will propably drop azure or druid of the claw instead of lets say grim patron or kodo. So 1. you need it to be equal or less than the mana you have, 2. you must not have a better drop to play this and 3. it must not be something completely useless like millhouse/mukla etc etc
This card can roll two consecutive turns the same creature?
As stated in the reddit post about him he has a special glow in your hand that says the minion is zerus and keeps transforming until you play him
Can it transform back into shifter zerus? And if it does, does it try to transform it twice each turn?
This'll be great in the 30 legendaries deck.
There will be a lot of highlights with this one
When does it transform at the begining or at the end of your turn? That should be said in the text....
The text says each turn so it's probably the start of you and the opponent's turn
It changes at the start of your turn. Probably more correctly is "It changes at the start of every turn" because tooltip doesnt say "your turn".
Incoming future Tavern Brawl/class challenge : Your and your opponent's deck is made of 30 Shifter Zerus
when i play prist card ressurect, it give life to shifted card, or zerus?
This card could replace every card in hearthstone and the game would be played the same.
Does that include all card (even the ones from wild mode)?
Thanks a lot, that makes sense!
Huge Legion Spoiler : New Illidan is the 5th Old God - Shifter Zerus.
This card is basically Unstable Portal without the 3 mana reduction on the minion but you also dont have to invest 2 mana up front or get stuck with what you got oh and hes neutral so everyone can use him.
Is he good well probably in a few decks he gives you flexability as it doesnt matter what deck your up against theres a chance he will turn into a card that you normally dont run because its effect is too specific but is good in your current circumstance like The Black Knight.
