Okay, foolish question. What happens after you play this from your hand? What happens if he returns to your hand? Does he keep his ability or has he permanently become the minion you played him as?
Tranformed minions can never go back to their original form, even if Sap gets him.
Question is whether it keeps the ability after being played (since it transforms in your hand but still keeps the ability), it depends on how Blizzard coded it. There's no way to be certain until release (or if Blizzard clarifies) I guess...
"Each turn this is in your hand" how hard is it to read holy shit. English2Hard.That's what happens when you dropped out of school/miss out English lessons.
"miss out English lessons" Ohhh the irony.
It's a very interesting card. It's very RNG, but at the same time it's not really because you have control over when you play it. It makes me wonder what deck this could fit in. Any ideas?
Randuin Wynn! i'd put him in my Randenoreno mage.
Who's a cute little tentacly summoner? You are! Yes, you are, Zerus!
Would be cool if it was "transform into a minion that is equal cost to your total mana crystals"
or "transform into a minion that is equal cost to how many turns it has been in your hand"
so works kinda like the forbidden spells. and with a bit more flavour and actual strategy behind it.

I am evil! Stop laughing!
So major downside - it only transforms when it is IN YOUR HAND, not deck - so if you kill a deathlord (wild) then you get a puny 1,1 for your troubles.
Oops, seems like a simple language tweek could have saved some people some embarrasment - although the Devs probably prefer it that way. The RNG deus-ex-machina will probably change the odds so that if you are running this, 50-50 you pull it when you kill an opponent's deathlord or camel or other cards that puts a random drop or random 1-drop into play.
Talk about swimming naked.
tbh there´s not much diference between getting a 1/1 and a 2/3 or similar so deathlord case is not enough for not playing this little guy.
Of course you wont play him in every single deck, i think he is more of a control/fatigue card
Turn 5 Sylvanas, Turn 6 Dr. Boom, Turn 7 Ragnaros
And you have the coin :P
Turn 8 Arch-Thief Rafaam, Turn 9 Deathwing
Turn 10 Wisp
Does this still cost 1 mana after it transform to a random minion or does it cost the same as the minion it transforms into?
if it always costed one mana; wouldn't you think it be broken as hell...? "oh; a turn 2 1 mana ragnaros; yes. good card design".. no. the mana changes with the minions cost
I LOVE this card. FINALLY a fun RNG random summon card that you don't get a bonus from running so it's not OP or auto-included *cough* *cough* Unstable Portal
