Majordomo Executus?
lolno
This card is really sweet. Paladins top end is crazy though, and all of its bottom end is gone in standard. Hopefully there are some decent early plays given to them, maybe a cheap weapon to deal with minions or something so control paladin can come back.
Very happy with this card though overall.
First let me say this will likely have amazing golden artwork. Next, I would like to say that this card will likely be best when put on a open board, or one with no damaged minion. That's not too hard to pull off, considering you can manipulate the board before hand by trading. It does make sense for his stats to be better than healbot, as that 8 health comes out much later. All in all i think it's rather good, and will be played in some decks. Pally will actually need more cards to actually reach turn 8 in standard though.
Even better because Rag/God has a holy hand grenade.
Your opponents Auchenai won't cause Lightlord to damage your own hero...
But how would he get an Auchenai (except for randomly spawning it) since this is a pally card
The real question is "how would a priest not get Ragnaros, Lightlord since it's a card?"
You're not forced to play either card. The likelihood that you're going to steal your opponents Rag is unlikely, and if you're deliberately playing Rag with an Auchenai on board, well that is a literal rank 25 play there.
Holy shit
More control than lay on hands or even Tirion... Damn, That's a nice op card...
old gods tried to corrupt him, but he was already too evil that turned thim into a good guy
Could be pretty good in control Paladin, really depends on what changes are made to BGH. Blizzard is kinda getting lazy when it comes to lore/characters though..
It has nothing to do with the lore, it's just the people of Azeroth enjoying a card game, and deciding to tell a story through this expansion. This story is about the Old Gods. It's about characters getting corrupted, and heroes deciding to Stand Against Darkness or even Renounce Darkness, like this Ragnaros who apparently decided to stop serving the Old Gods.
Can't wait for the trolden video where this and Auchenai Soulpriest kill a priest. Forbidden Shaping just got even more hilarious.
Slow but powerful. Fair.
