I don't get it why people think this is a bad card, card draws are very important to all class... and it's obvious to play this mid-late game so the overload won't backfire at you
Overload always backfires. You cant cast big things for whole two turns(this turn including) playing this.

You can't just reject a card because another class has a smiliar card with different mana costs, this is a fantastic card because it's exactly what shaman has been lacking for a long time now. And another thing, if you're on 9 mana and you play this card and draw boom, you can play him. If you used an arcane intellect on turn 9 and drew boom, you wouldn't be able to play him.
You're playing 1 mana basically for getting the cards on turn 2 versus turn 3. Since there's a draw 2 for 3 mana.
Shaman is getting so much hype this set. I'm beginning to think Blizzard wants to have 9 playable classes!

Except that's not how it works. You can't add upp overload and the mana cost and say 'Well it's 4 mana for 2 cards' if you're on 9 mana (yes I just used this comparison above) and play this card and draw boom, you can play him. If you were to play arcane intellect you wouldn't be able to. It's 2 mana this turn, and the next turn in exchange for 2 cards. That's a pretty damn good deal. Especially since shaman has been lacking card draw.
might be for more late or mid game decks. 1 mana on turn 3 might cost you the game especially against aggro.
Why? Mana Tide dies almost immediately when played unless it's protected by a few layers of taunt. Not to mention that it's at the end of your turn, meaning the card you draw has to wait for the opponent's turn to be playable; while this card gives you two cards to use immediately.
Not to mention that Mana Tide will pretty much die well within two turns, three if you're really lucky.
I agree with your arguments Gogins and I agree that I don't think Mana Tide Totem is better - this card is something Shamans so desperately need and I laugh at all these people saying it's bad because of Overload.
However, with the new Totem buff cards incoming I wouldn't rule out Mana Tide Totem in favor of this card in ALL decks - I will probably still run Mana Tide in a deck that has Draenei Totemcarver and Thunder Bluff Valiant in it.
Not really. Mana tide town is great in every matchup that isn't aggro and it is way better than this spell for sure.
This will almost certainly be the first golden card I craft when the expansion comes out.

A much needed card for Shaman, Shaman seems a lot stronger with the new cards, lets see how other classes benefit, but Shaman is surely going strong.
If you play (not so good) Lava Shock in your deck this card is ok but otherwise meh..
Again Mage has better version (Arcane Intellect).
Fireball > Lava Burst too
Two Loot Hoarder's is better than this.
